Decided to use the app. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with an extra patty no tomato or pickles and mayo instead of mustard since I have fancy ketchup at home. I'm told my order will be ready by 10:18. I get there at 10:20 hoping I wouldn't have to wait and give them my name. I'm then holding my coke for another 20 minutes just to get a soggy plain whataburger with jalapeños on it. At least the fries were fresh. Don't use the app. The people who were ordering in person were getting their food within minutes. I'd check to see if your order is right as well if you get delivery. read more

Came in later at night with some friends when one of them realized their burger didn't have cheese on it. They thought it originally came it, went up to correct it, paid for the extra slice, and said "thank you." Everyone was frustrated as it was late at night and quite busy, and I don't know if the manager was having a bad day, or was too excited to finally be a manager. But the next thing I know, he comes up to our table and yells expletives at us, and that we need to leave or else he is calling the police. Update: Seven weeks later and still no refund. Original post: The complaint I just sent to corporate: When I arrived, none of my order was ready, including my drink. They gave me a cup to make my own drink. However, there was no sweet tea brewed. I informed them at that time that there was no sweet tea brewed, yet, nobody began making any tea. Many minutes later, they brought me my food and still had not begun making any tea. I told them that I did not want the food anymore since I would still have to wait for them to make the tea and my food would be cold by the time they brewed it. I called to get a refund for my order since I placed the order through the app. The person who took my call was rude, he interrupted me, and he talked over me. He told me I would be refunded for my order. He also told me I would be contacted in order to provide feedback about his poor customer service. I have still not received a refund even though it has been over five weeks since this occurred. I have also never been contacted in order to provide feedback about his horrible customer service. Since then, I have called multiple times to say this exact thing and, each time, the person who answers says the same thing, that they will escalate the situation, that I will be contacted, and that I will be refunded. None of those things ever happens. You still owe me money and nobody has bothered to contact me about this ongoing terrible situation. This is the worst customer service I have received from anywhere ever in my entire 39 years of life. How has no one reviewed *the* campus Whataburger? I see a line from morning to night out here.. The Whataburger theme is Texas Tech! *sigh*. Anyhow, yeah it's a Whataburger, but it's our whataburger. It's fast food thats open late enough for most of the DD's to stop and get their possey a bite before they crash. It's where students gather without prejudice and enjoy the same love. The location is conviniantly placed near campus only a 5-10 minute walk from the seal or center of campus. Next to white girl nation (Chipotle & Starbucks). The establishment is well taken care of and very clean every time I've been there even with the big crowd. There are sometimes lines out the door and even then everyone gets taken care of. The staff is very attentive and nice. The quality of the food is as it should be. Whoop! read more

My great grandfather always loved Whataburger. He said it was the closest thing you could get to the dime store hamburgers of his youth. They may have changed the patties to be a bit thinner and imo made out of a lower quality beef in the last twenty years or so but I still think they are one of the best fast food burgers around. I had a great experience at this location. The staff was very courteous and promptly took my order. They kept their cool even when some of the local college kid's started throwing fries at each other, and then the staff, after maybe a few too many adult beverages at the football game.They brought the order to my table and then came back later to make sure everything was cool. I like that in a fast food place. It's almost like a regular sit down restaurant in that regard. Fries are second only to Wendy's but only because they use sea salt on theirs that I like. Come in for a taste of nostalgia any day of the week, and since it's open 24 hours, you can get your late night nosh on too. read more

If I wanted to wait that long I would've gone to get a 3 course meal at a sit in restaurant, not a "fast food" place. Seems like they need to clean house. Literally and figuratively. Whataburger is great and the service is usually good but this one has fallen in-between the cracks as the security is abrasive and the lobby cleaners are rude. Last time i went i was told by a lobby attendant " don't you leave with this table dirty , leave it as you found it " i was i a big group and had already cleaned my area yet she felt the need to act in that rude manner read more

They have now permanently lost me as a customer, you can almost certainly count on the staff messing up your order every time you walk through the door.
