Cinnamon roll, oh so delicious cinnamon roll!

What-A-Buger, pronounced Wateraburger by the locals and those in the know. I've been coming to this Whataburger since I can remember. I have very fond memories of coming here with my father. And now every time I come home, I try to hit this place at least once there's not one within a couple 100 miles of South Florida; my therapist says I'm managing my separation anxiety pretty well. And get a burger just like my daddy would order: Extra Mustard and Pickles. Although the menu has changed over time, the menu has evolved a bit but the core of the menu is the same. Single, Double and cardiologist loving Triple. Breakfast is still a good buy and the best thing about the place is they don't cook your burgers until you place your order. My order was okay because they put onions on my burger after telling them not to because of an allergy. The fries were hot and crispy and the only time you'll see me eating Ketchup (Spicy Ketchup) is at Wahtaburger. And it is the South, so a Sweet Tea was a must! The best thing about this visit was that absolutely delicious cinnamon roll. They come in Singles, Double, Quads or a tray of Six. The reason I'm only giving a 4 to this location is because the service was a little lacking. As I previously stated, I've been coming here for years and service has definitely been better.

My husband and I went here during a layover at the nearby Greyhound station. Coming from a long ride that only had stops with gas station foods, we were finally excited to eat a real meal. Before arriving we checked the reviews for this location and it didn't seem too good but stayed open minded since we've heard about Whataburger on some blogs and read on yelp that this location will have had a renovation by now. This is on the same side of the road as greyhound and though there aren't any sidewalks, it's definitely walking distance. When we walked in we were kindly greeted by an older white lady who mentioned we look like we just came from a bus. She mentioned they get a lot of people coming in from there. She could tell we weren't familiar with the menu. I asked how the pies are prepared and she said fried, we were sold. Both the apple pie and lemon pie were good but I thought the apple pie was better. Unfortunately both were small but that may be a good thing haha. I ordered the Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich and my husband got a whataburger. Mine was great while his was aiiight. The restroom here was big and pretty clean! The five stars for this review is for this location having good service, a good menu (there were a lot of options), and a pretty clean store. Oh and they are 24 hours open. These may not seem like a big deal for a fast food joint but for people traveling from a far, this place is like an oasis. I hope their management stays keeps this place going. Keep it up!

I am a big Whataburger fan and try to visit Whataburger restuarants while traveling since there isn't a Whataburger in my home town. I was in Mobile for a college football game and took a friend to visit Whataburger. I bragged to him about how good Whataburger breakfast food. Plus I wanted to try the new chorizo taquito. The person taking my order was confused and my order wasn't made correctly. The breakfast burrito did not have any chorizo meat and my breakfast sandwich was made with bacon, but I requested sausage. My friend had to wait nearly 15 minutes for his food to arrive. The entire visit was a disaster.

We finally had to put the car in reverse and back out because nobody ever took our order or even spoke to us. I went inside because I was picking up breakfast for my coworkers, only to be told the drive-thru "was working," but they were too busy with online/to-go orders to take drive-thru orders. If that's the case, at least acknowledge the customers sitting there waiting. A simple "Sorry, we're delayed" would have gone a long way. On top of that, the employees were not friendly at all and incredibly slow. Standing inside watching them, nobody even seemed to be making food. Everyone was just kind of wandering around looking at each other in slow motion while customers waited. The lack of urgency, communication, and customer service was honestly unbelievable. You can see in the photo they're not making food. They're standing on and talking. I will not be returning. This is one customer they finally lost.

My husband's sandwich was fried and the mayo was THIIIIICK. He walked back in to get the issue corrected and was met with a combative attitude. The person that he was talking to told him they KNEW he had grilled chicken sandwiches without even looking at what he brought back in. As someone in food service, I get that it's stressful. However, having a positive attitude will gain you REPEAT customers so stores don't shut down. Don't be nasty and rude. The only reason this review has any stars is because of the tasty peach honey pepper sauce.

OMG what a mess. I have been craving Harts chicken and slaw for a few days, sometimes I need a…read morespicy, greasy, salty fix and their slaw is the best. Took orders around the house and made the drive up the Parkway. Just so ya' realize I drive past the entire range of restaurants from waterfront seafood dining to Checkers to get here. I arrive at what must be the rush hour on a Sunday night 5:15. After my 45 minute wait in line to order (yes I know, should have took the hint) I fall for the 8 piece with a large side trap and order some tenders for Lil' Pug. So my 8 piece dark, spicy and the large side of slaw should scratch my itch. Well don't be fooled, they were certainly not cooking food while I was waiting in line to order, once my order was placed I was able to enjoy a relaxed 30 additional minutes of drive through bliss. I did eventually get my order, I did notice a "handling fee" for I suppose a credit card transaction, yet my receipt clearly reflects I paid cash, which I did. So when she brought me my order, think I showed her that to get my 71 cents back? Heck no, I don't have all night. After my ride home I unpacked my grease soaked bag of delight only to discover I have been shorted my slaw and rolls. I am too hungry at this point to argue, but Mrs Pug grabs the reigns and heads up to retrieve my slaw. I sit down to eat my sideless chicken taking the first bite to discover the greasy is there, salty? Check. Spicy? Whoops forgot that, but I discover there are packets of hot sauce in with the two ketchup packets. ARE YOU SERIOUS? My spicy chicken is stale chicken that has been sitting a bit (I am certain the entire time I was waiting it was sitting waiting to be boxed cause it sure wasn't hot and fresh) and a packet of hot sauce? At least that mess at Popeyes has seasoning ON the chicken. All in all, an experience that reminded me why I go so far between visits to the best take out chicken in a location I drive past twice a day or more. If I could get my damn order right and not get cheated out of a "handling fee" because I paid cash I would sure eat here more often. When the chicken is fresh and hot it is the best, tonight it was dead ass between Churches and the WalMart deli. Next time I want some fried chicken I think I will just take a chance on Popeyes, last time I had that it was great, but that was in New Orleans, not Tillmans Corner.
