My husband had always talked about eating Whataburger while living in Texas, but I had never had it or seen one of their restaurants before. While in PCB for vacation, we just happened to drive by this location. My husband's face lit up, because he didn't know they were in FL, so it was a surprise to see! He immediately turned the car around to go back and get food here. He hadn't had it in 8 years and was so excited to eat it again and have me try it for the first time. I hate that I wasn't impressed with it. I got a burger and fries and both were just ok to me. I'd honestly choose a Wendy's burger over the one I tried. I didn't even eat half my fries because they were bland to me. I would give it another shot and order something else though. The food was wonderful but the wait was terrible! The cashier was also working in the back and only took orders about every 10 min. They were more focused on the drive-thru service than the eat-in service. The line was out the door not because they were busy but because there were not enough employees. Be glad it's opened for 24 hours. It takes about that long to get your food. Approximately 15 minutes per car and there are always a lot of cars. I'm not sure if they need extra help or if they just need to work faster. Both couldn't hurt. read more

We waited in line for over a hour, and by the time we opened our food it was all wrong. Since covid is still occurring we couldn't go inside to tell them. The line was backed up to the end of the road. We moved in the line like every 10 plus minutes. The worker at the second window had a horrible attitude he kept rolling his eyes and shaking his head. Being from Connecticut, I never had What A Burger before, but my friend took me there twice in a week and I was happy to go. I've had the What A Burger Patty Melt and a Jalapeno Bacon Burger. I would say the burgers are about the size of Sonic's, but more packed and better tasting. At the beach excited to try this "famous" hamburger joint. Everything was sub-par . We requested 1 single sauce on a $38 order they said it would cost .38 after we already paid. Had no cash and wasn't gonna swipe my card for .38. But a girl walking around with a sauce caddy gave some out without charging? Trash cans were very full. We went here because the kids didn't get full from dinner and we decided to grab some cheap eats. The burgers were pretty good for fast food. We tried the chop house cheddar burger and some onion rings as well as fries and shakes. Everything was pretty good and the onion rings were not too oily. Dined there last night as we had heard the hype and kids wanted to try it . I had chicken melt sandwich . It was a mess , cheese was a cheese sauce not sliced . Veggies so soggy couldn't tell a pepper from an onion . Served in a burger bun . The toasted melt description made me think it would be served on toasted bread so that was disappointing . Onion rings were good except the first batch got spilled on the not yet cleaned table ( by the food runner not by us!) he laughed , picked them up with his bare hand , put them back in the box and said " at least they didn't hit the floor". The started to leave , when I asked what he was going to do about the onion rings he said " what do you mean ?" Like his hands on my food was no big deal . Not to mention they were so busy the tables weren't cleaned at all . Luckily I went up front and they replaced them . We liked that they had a variety of sodas and had flavored ketchup . Tea wasn't sweet by southern standards. Fries are skinny fries . Kids liked them but not adults . Grilled chicken comes on wheat bun . Everyone else thought burgers were good but . they still prefer five guys. Best part of visit was cashier Stephanie. She was friendly , explained the menu items ,and kept the line going .
