This establishment is HOT!!! The thermostat near the bathrooms read 85 degrees but it was much hotter near the counter. Those poor employees working under such conditions and as a paid customer, I was pissed not only for those employees but also having to sit in it myself. We were one of 3 customers and every single one commented how uncomfortably hot it was and how unacceptable it was for the employees. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Was at this location in Jan/Feb and used my mobile app to order. Returned back to TN and used the app to order and the app sent the order to the PCB location because it did not update although location services is turned on. I called the location to cancel the order and try to get a refund. The gentleman on the phone said he'd not make the sandwich, but I'd have to call back and talk to the manager for a refund. I called the next day and spoke with the manager. She immediately stated Firehouse had told them once they went to the app to no longer give refunds for orders sent to the incorrect location. Now they have my money and refuse to refund. I called corporate customer service and they stated the location had to issue the refund. Although I explained the location refused to do so, they stated they would have to send something to the location requesting a refund. Long story short, don't visit this location they will steal your money. They are harming Firehouse reputation and it seems as if corporate doesn't care. My last line of defense is to have the bank challenge the payment and let the location and my bank fight it out. Horrible experience with crappy customer service all the way around. I ordered a sandwich and told the young man I was not going to eat it until tonight. I wanted a cold sandwich and nothing on the menu board stated they are all hot sandwiches. I figured like most sub places you have an option. When I got my hot sandwich I told them I wanted it cold. The manager just kept repeating that all their subs are hot. Had bad feeling when no one was at register to take order. 3 behind counter were chatting it up and disregarding customers in line. Should have walked out. After a 30 min wait for 2 sandwiches, we tossed them in the trash and left. The one slice of meat looked like shredded ham. Disgusting! And the reaction from behind the counter was as you can imagine. This place needs a restart while it has a chance. Horrific service and product. For starters, the cashier told me they don't take military discounts and then the manager mumbled active duty only. We've been to several locations and have always used military every time. I ordered the large Turkey Bacon Ranch (which is not worth what I paid) gave me a sandwich with all the meat balled up in the middle, not spread out, gave us tomatoes with the stem on it, didn't include the bacon that's supposed to come on it. When I asked for the bacon, I was told it was a hectic day, as we were the last of customers in there. The soda machine was also out of several drinks, the restaurant itself (including the bathroom) was nasty and not clean. While we were waiting for our sandwiches, they were cussing and bad mouthing every customer that had been in the store. The owner of this particular store needs to be aware of how their store is being run. I refuse to step back into this location. I wasted $30 of hard earned money today. Very disappointed. I can choose where I want to eat, and I chose wrong today. I truly hope we don't get sick. If we do, no worries. I will be in contact with corporate. BBB and the health dept. read more

Went here for the first time while in Panama City Beach. Subs were amazing! The bread was so good.

I commend the employees and say SHAME ON MANAGEMENT. The air was not working and had not been for over 2 weeks. The employees are still showing up for work and giving good service, without any extra compensation for working in such humid conditions. The stores beside Firehouse Subs had air, but no customers. This was terrible! I was very dissatisfied with the food. I did not get a choice in the size of sandwich I requested. There was very little meat, hardly any BBQ sauce and I as for small amount of mayo and I don't think there was any. For $27+ dollars, I am very disappointed. I will continue to support our local fireman, but not by visiting this Firehouse. This is the 3rd time I've made a mobile order and the 3rd time it hasn't been correct. It clearly states what I DID NOT want on my sandwich and this time the bread was extremely dry since there was no mayo or mustard on it as requested. I should've checked before I left so my bad. My food was super good, like always. But I just witnessed a spectacular event. The gentleman behind the counter saw an elderly man coming into the restaurant (he had a walker), so he opened the door for the older man. After he got his Togo order, the same employee helped the elderly man to his truck, helped him get in, and stayed with him until he drove away....did I mention that it was raining cats and dogs? I have been driving past this place for about a week now, been in the panama city area for work, but I am a huge fan of sandwiches so instantly this place caught my eye. I finally got a chance to drop in to pick some up. I ended up going with 2 different sandwiches, 1 to eat once I got back to my hotel and the other for lunch the next day. Anyways, I got the meatball sub and the engineer. The meatball was very good, it was full of flavor. I feel like the only problem with the sandwich was that the meatballs were a little small and the way it was constructed made it a little difficult to eat. The engineer sandwich was delicious, it had a sweeter taste to it but I feel it made the sandwich different. Overall the place was good. It was clean and I was helped right away. We are a family of 7, and we stopped in to eat at this location on our way out of PCB. We have a two-year-old son. There were 3 tables set up...a 2-seat table and 2 4-seat tables. We needed an extra chair, so we moved one from the empty 4-seat table to our table. The cashier (Kimberly) then scolded us and told us we could not move the chair. We asked if we could use a high chair instead, and she said yes. So we can use a high chair, but we can't use an actual chair? This does not make any sense. I understand you are trying to follow certain guidelines for COVID, but be consistent or maybe do not allow dine-in. read more

Wonderful establishment ,and the cashier was upbeat and bubbly. Sandwich was provided within a timely manner considering it was during a busy hour for them. Overall very impressed with how efficient and proactive they are with their guests and with the service they are providing for their customers. I love your sandwiches and have been to several locations across the country. This one here in PCB seems to be the only one in the nation that can't figure out what "fully involved" means even though there is a giant sign on the wall indicating what that might be. Every single time I come in, I get hassled because the New York steamer sub "doesn't normally come that way". What happened to customer service?
