WHATA-EXPERIENCE! It's so cool getting to try a Whataburger IN Texas. I enjoyed grabbing a burger at one of their Arizona locations. However, there's something special about grabbing a bite from the Texan source! My bacon burger was yummy even after a 20 min ride to DT H-Town! The fries are scrumptious and unfortunately I dropped my vanilla shake so I can't comment on that! The lemonade's good though! Service was good, the girl at the window asked me "is it over?!" I guess they had a wave of folks before I rolled up. She had a warm demeanor and brought my food out quickly! The drive-thru is not as bad as people make it out to be, there's a good traffic flow. Went through the drive thru this morning around 8:30 AM (Friday, 5/22). When I pulled up to give my order the sound over the machine worked perfectly (we could both clearly hear one another) and the person who took my order (Sylvia) asked for my name and then proceeded to take my order (all the while she was kind, professional, patient and helpful). The line moved at a steady pace, nothing mind blowing but a steady pace for a Whataburger. When I pulled up to the payment / food receipt window, Sylvia greeted me by name (given when she took my order), took my cash payment and gave me the proper change. She then politely verified I had a grip on my drink before letting it go and then also handed me my food (with all the correct items and condiments). During the entire interaction, I felt like I was her center of attention, she cared that I was her customer, and she took good, quick, quality care of me. (Thank you!) I also noticed that throughout our interaction she was also helping other customers with the same amazing customer service. She was taking orders, walking other orders of food out to other cars/customers, working the register window - she navigated her duties extremely well and prioritized customer care. I honestly left Whataburger wondering if we had any openings where I could potentially tell our recruiters to hire her within my own organization (so watch out Whataburger haha). The level of service and professionalism I and the other customers around me received this morning was/is by far the best service I have seen in any fast food establishment. Please tell Sylvia C. that her elite customer service, multitasking skills and quality care makes a huge, positive impact on her customers and we truly appreciate what she does for us and how she leaves us feeling, thank you! I've heard about Whataburger for years and said the next time I'm near one, I'm going to try it. The location was in walking distance from my hotel and shopping destination. Couldn't decide what I wanted and landed on a #5 with a strawberry soda. Marshall, the young man in drive-thru who took my order was patient, kind, polite, and answered my questions so I could make a selection. The bacon cheese burger was huge, I could only finish half but it was tasty. The fries were mid but my fault, since I didn't eat until 10 minutes later. The Fanta strawberry took me back to childhood..robust strawberry flavor with the perfect amount of carbon. Thank you Marshall, for helping me have a good Whataburger experience. I haven't usually liked the burgers from any Whataburger in probably 10 years since the meat lacks seasoning, the buns are often cold and the tomatoes are too soggy. However, some things I think they do well at are the grilled chicken sandwich, chicken fajita taco, sausage breakfast sandwich, fries and chocolate & strawberry shakes. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Taco earlier with light shredded cheese on it. I can't believe they took this off, but so glad it's back for at least awhile. It was very delicious and juicy like a good Tex Mex taco. The tortilla was soft and fresh. The chicken was very tender, juicy, seasoned and had a good charbroiled flavor to it too. The bell peppers n onions were sautéed nicely and the cheese was melted just right without being like melted glue or too solid. It saddens me to give this again but this location is single handedly destroying the WB brand. There's no pride in the product to ensure orders are correct and fries are hot. It's the closest to my home so I have no choice but I almost regret going every time because I know something is going to be wrong. Today I ordered two identical meals and requested twice that mayo was subbed for mustard only to get home 12 miles away and find mustard on one of the burgers. French fries were Luke warm (checked before I left parking lot). It's very disappointing because I love WB so much. It's pretty standard since it's a fast food chain. I ordered the #3 (Triple Whataburger) meal Whatasized (lg fries and drink). My son ordered just a burger (sweet and spicy w/o onions) and a Med shake. Whataburger has changed their rewards and I like it better. It's a points-based tier now. It used to be every 5 visits would earn you a reward of just a small handful of choices (I'd usually get the small shake) but with the points-based system I got the medium shake for free . have been a loyal Whataburger customer for 30+ years and this was the worst experience I've had at any restaurant. I ordered online at 1234 AM and arrived at the store at approximately 1240. When I arrived the drive through line was backed up into the street. I decided to go inside and I was met by several other customers waiting to order. It was 5 plus minutes before anyone acknowledged any of us and then we were told to wait. At one point the BF manager and WF employee began to argue in front of all of us and escalated to the WF cursing at the manger, again in front of customers. Whataburger no matter where your at are very above average with customer service, accuracy and food quality. The one on Silver lake is the worst most miss managed mess I've ever seen of any restaurant I've ever seen. I'm used to there being pretty long lines at the drive thru and that's fine. But their line is long because every order is wrong and they react so slowly and act as if they could care less. So instead of the long drive thru I sent inside. This is your typical hamburger joint but with a Texas twist. It's the only thing open after 10 pm so even if it's not good, you'll love it. The drive thru line is wrapped around the corner as usual. When it comes to fast food, Whataburger is at the top of my list. This location is the one that's closest to my parent's house. It's situated next to Fadi's, IHOP, and a bunch of other businesses. I've been to this location on numerous occasions. On my most recent visit, I tried their specialty mushroom and au jus burger. Like most of their burgers, they are solid for fast food. And they have a lot of great items too beyond their burgers. Most notably, in my mind, the honey butter chicken biscuit, house-made ketchup, chicken strips, and BBQ chicken strip sandwich. So there are two Whataburgers in the area but I chose this location due to curbside pick up availability. Now for many who don't know, I typically crave the food that I order. Meaning my mouth is dead set on a good cooked meal, cooked to perfection. Today I guess was not my day. I arrived to the curbside area and this young lady, who looked as if she was freezing awaited my arrival. I gave her my information for my order and she was off. I immediately noticed she didn't have on gloves or use hand sanitizer as she waltzed back and forward to get my food. When she arrived I politely mentioned a sanitize method that would make customers feel comfortable to enjoy Whataburger and hopefully return. She smiled, I thanked her for her service and left. Once I arrived home I noticed my food wasn't correct. Now I'm livid. Not only has there been a breach of sanitation but my food isn't right either! So I called the location and stated to Miss Angela my food wasn't correct. She was super sweet, apologetic, and kind. She told me they would take care of me for my next visit.
