First I would love to say that the hospitality was great, everyone was kind including the customers, which gave a comforting vibe especially because it was my first time eating here. The owner was right there on the line working hard with his employees and the ingredients were real and fresh. It took me such a long time to visit this restaurant because the concepts are not something you see often, after the eating the food it's like a spin on cajun, american comfort soul food with a modern day finish. I don't even speak like this, but after this fantastic meal I couldn't help but to let yall know it's worth a try. The first item I tried was the blackened fish jambalaya & it was really good & looked like it came straight out the pan! however i'm used to bland food so the kick from the seasoning took me back some. I then tried their punch and it was so good words can't even explain. Again packed with flavor , sweet and has a tang from what seems to be lemon. Fresh pineapples and strawberries were in the drink as well, I can honestly say it's one of the best 3 drinks i've ever had. If they sold them by the gallon i'd purchase it just to keep in the house. I even added some water to it when it was almost gone and it still tasted good! It mellowed out some of the sweetness, but not the flavor. I also got the Da Justo Sampler and at first it seemed like a lot and kind of overwhelming, but let me tell you it was so amazing. First of all the grilled cheese was exceptional, the best grilled cheese i've ever had. The wings were sweet and spicy and I didn't even need ranch for them, I thought it would ruin the flavor! & I'm a person who eats ranch with everythingg. The mac & cheese is the perfect example of what mac and cheese should be, the fries were okay though, I wish they were crispier but even with that it didn't stop nothing! Everything is still a 10/10. I went back and tried the Jambalaya a little later & again another 10/10, i've never had Jambalaya before so the flavors were so crazy , but I still found myself not able to put the fork down! The portions are very big from those two meals I got i was able to share with 3 other people and we all had nice portions ( i was not sharing that punch tho!). if your sick of your typical generic food options and want something out the box and worth the price or just want a cheat meal that's worth it, Krack Kitchen is your spot! read more

Happened to be the area and thought this Cajun places sounded good when I was browsing through Yelp and it was SO GOOD! It's inside a gas station which wasn't too busy for a Friday night. You order at grill, but when they give you the receipt you have to pay the gas station attendant. Make sure you go back to the grill to show you paid for your meal. Now I will say it took 25 minutes to get our food but it was HOT and FRESH. We got the jambalaya and 10 chicken wings. The wings were crispy and juicy with a lot of seasoning. Everything inside the Jambayla was delicious from the shrimp, to the fish, to the sausages, etc etc. just all super flavorful in general. There are 4 small tables each with 2 seats which I appreciated cause I usually prefer to eat the food fresh rather than eating it in the car/bringing it home. Would definitely come back to try other dishes; but keep in mind that the location of the gas station is kinda not ideal. You'll know what I mean when you drive there. I've been here three times now and every time I've tried something different and everything was fire. The pasta was bomb, the fried fish was on point, and those Krack Wings? So good! The mac and cheese with that secret sauce... yeah, that's the one. The first time I came, I got the sampler. This worked so perfectly for me because I was totally undecided on what I wanted to order. So if you just want to just taste a little bit of everything, order the sampler. My last visit I tried the Jambalaya Pizza. The idea is fire and the toppings were good, but the crust and sauce just needed a lil more flavor. For everything else to be seasoned so good, I expected that crust to have some garlic butter or something on it. Still, it wasn't bad at all, just not my fave. Extremely disappointed! I was so excited to order from Krack Kitchen bc I've heard and read good things. So I tried breakfast first and ordered shrimp and grits with a side of eggs. I picked up late while no one tells you that they'll be closing to prepare for lunch I arrived right before they were closing. While they give you plenty of food, I mean my box was full to the top with shrimp and grits. It looked and smelled absolutely amazing! The shrimp were a good size too. I put just a sample inside my egg container and when I tell you those shrimp and grits were so salty It could not eat them. My couldn't eat them. They had to be thrown away. I honestly wanted to call them but again they were closed so I didn't. Now don't get me wrong I love seasoned food but not overly seasoned that it's not edible. I've been seeing this spot on tik tok for a minute. I usually don't do gas station meals but I had to see what the hype was about. When we walked in, I won't lie, I almost turned around. The food that was sitting out did not look appealing. Looked like it had been sitting for a while. Then I think the guy was the owner, he came out and greeted us and gave us a run down of the menu and showed us some pics online. So we went ahead and ordered. Both were excellent! Only one, slight complaint. I got the lamb chop Rasta pasta and while the flavor of the pasta sauce is good there are a few things I feel could be better. For starters the pasta is overcooked and the chicken doesn't taste fresh. Secondly The lamb chops are tender and full of flavor. Amazing is the word to describe this place! I had Da Justo Platter and I will say it's a great first time option. I was able to taste a little bit of everything and from this sampler I know I will definitely come back. Chef David and his niece were sooo pleasant and kind to interact with that their service alone would bring me back. They helped me decide on my dinner, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm a Mac and cheese connoisseur and this one here.... Man, it does not disappoint. Most people butcher mac and cheese by trying to be too colorful with their seasoning but this one RIGHT HERE was flavorful in the most perfect way. Chef David recommended his new flavor jerk lemon pepper for the chicken and it SLAPPED!! lol. The seafood cheese sandwich was perfect bc with every little bite I had a piece of seafood. What an amazing experience! Stumbbled upon this while driving around Pearland. It's in a gas station! It used to be a food truck, so it you see pictures of that, ignore, and walk right on in to the gas station. The food was amazing (I only tried the lobser pasta, but I know I'll be back!).
