Honestly, I'm extremely surprised to see the few positive reviews I've seen on here for this Whataburger location. I literally downloaded Yelp just for this review. This is by far the worst Whataburger location I've ever been to. Not for the food, the food is fine, but for the EXTREMELY long wait. I came in a few weeks ago on my way to work and ordered a breakfast burrito, I waited 20 minutes before I eventually just had to leave or I would have been late for work. I didn't even have time to get my money back. I tried again tonight, came in the drive through and all I ordered was a chicken fajita taco. I've even sitting in my car for 22 minutes and there are still 3 cars in front of me. If you're made of time and don't mind long waits then this location is for you. If you are looking for great service & a good burger, served quickly, stop & eat here. We were out on the Harley for a 100 mile ride & My wife had never eaten at a Whataburger so we stopped. What a pleasant fast food joint. I had my usual double cheese burger & onion rings while Janet had the onion rings & a cheese burger. The service process was terrible...ordered in app...arrived on time. Drive thru backed up around building. Went to lobby and it was locked...normally open. Curb side was closed. Waited 40 plus min in drive thru to get cold food as it was probably prepared and ready at the time in the app. Lady in window said oh sorry...we're short handed...order was wrong and cold. Very poor management. Food should have been re-made and business needs to be closed until able to be staffed. Absolutely an embarrassment to any food service chain. This location has been pretty much lowest on any possible scale of measurement since it was built and opened. My wife and I regularly eat breakfast at Whataburger. The Food and service is usually very good. Not So this place on 4-25-2018 at 7:30. The service set new lows for fast food. The counter person's name tag said Jessica (receipt says Janie S.). She should never be within 10 feet of the counter. There were people lined up to the door. It took her about 10 minutes each to take orders. The register seemed to be beyond her abilities. After about 30 minutes I placed an order for two breakfast on a bun with sausage, 2 senior coffees, and 2 orange juices. We took our number, cups, and orange juice to the table. About 10 minutes later te server showed up with 1 breakfast on a bun. When I complained she read the order slip and went back to the kitchen to get the other one. It took over an hour to do what should have taken 5 minutes. This is NOT FAST FOOD!! Next time We go north We'll stop at the Whataburger in Dennison. They do understand fast food. read more

i love whataburger so much and every time i eat here the food always tastes good but they hardly ever get my order correct and i have never waited less than 45 minutes in the drive thru. i'm a bit frustrated tonight because i worked a double and got off late so not many things are open past 11pm. i waited in the line for over an hour to get my food and didn't end up leaving there until 12:30. my order was wrong and i didn't have the time or energy to go back or even call. and i have to work in the morning again so it's really frustrating that fast food can't be fast lol. every other whataburger location i've been to is very efficient but this one just must be poorly run because they are always fully staffed. read more

Food was pretty good. Burger was a little salty for my taste. Service was seriously lacking! No one big thing alone, but it added up. 1. Took 5 minutes for any employee to acknowledge me. Not a big deal, there busy, right?... but there were literally 3 standing around talking to each other. 2. Lady that finally did help me must have been training, she messed up 3 times and had to start over. She was the saving grace because she was actually really nice and we were joking around about the order and getting it right. 3. The coffee shake took 15minites to get out. Finally got my order and there were no fries in bag. They were on receipt. Order was correct. Just didn't get put in bag. I ordered to go and am on a road trip, so would have been pretty disappointed if I didn't realize this until I left! Girl at counter apologized and got me nice hot fries almost immediately. All in all not a terrible experience. Just felt like something is wrong with the team here. Manager was rolling his eyes at employee and said "there's no special treatment" - heard it out of context so not sure what it was for...but pretty weird thing to say in front of customers. Especially one that you can see is just standing at the register not being helped. Another person in a different kind of shirt was running through the customer area in a rush. Takes a really long time to receive order (30-45 minutes at what seems an unbusy time) and sometimes the food arrives not even hot. The employees don't exhibit the best customer service. There is work that needs to be done here. Mobile pick up needs to be improved a great deal as it is pointless to use this feature with how our first and last 3 experiences went. Went there this morning first bad sign 9 cars in drive through so decided to go inside now I know why long line. Only 1 register open and every employee I saw was moving in slow motion. Manager looked to be flustered several people sitting waiting for their food. Waited 12 minutes for food after 4 minutes to place order. This location is the slowest location I have been to. This place is terribly run. Everytime I go here its a 30 minute wait, with a decent line but nothing substantial or 30 minutes worth. This time I go, takes me around 10 minutes to get my food, thats fine. After I get my food, the lady says one minute for your drink, as rude as can be. I kid you not. 5 minutes later, no drink. This place is a college students dream. They are open 24 hours and serve breakfast late night. As a freshman I came to this place religiously and never strayed, but as I have gotten older I go here less frequently, but it does not mean I like it any less. I have attempted to eat at this Whataburger three different times. Each time was through the drive thru lane. Each time I bailed. I sat there for 15 minutes with two cars before me for the intercom to place an order. Didn't move in any of those 15 minutes. If you only have a 30 minute lunch, avoid this place. If you have all the time in the world to wait for "fast food" then by all means go here and wait your heart out. I have successfully eaten here once and that was months ago. So either they're short staffed beyond belief, or they have new leadership that lacks, or they have the wrong staff in place. The one time I bailed I went and got food from another fast food place and by the time I got that food and drove back by it had moved up one car I kid you not.
