COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED with CATHERINES customer service. It is so sad to see how much people hate their jobs. I came to place an additional order aside from my coworkers curbside pick up. I pull up to the second window, to wait almost 15 minutes for someone to assist me. Catherine opened her window and says " next time you order curbside you come to the front not to the drive through window" and rolls her eyes. I explained as to why I initially came through drive though. Which was to place my additional order. She said I don't care, I'm talking about for the curbside pick up. She then told me pull around to the next window for my curbside pick up. When I asked for her name she put down her mask and in a louder tone said " my name is Catherine" and rolled her eyes again. Took 8 minutes for someone to come to the register the service was bad, and it looked like everyone behind the counter was lost. We were dining in and didn't get trays, ketchup, napkins. I though Whataburger was known for taking food to your table. I didn't ask for the manager because she seemed to be the one that took her time in approaching the register. Managers are inept, employees look lost, seriously as an owner of a business I would clean house, how are they still operational is beyond me. read more

Service is super slow at this location, but hey... it's Whataburger. I don't come here for the service, I come here for their itis-inducing food. Whataburger is my favorite burger joint in Houston. Delicious fries? Yes. Delicious chicken strips, toast, and white gravy? Yes. Delicious burgers? Of course! And I'm glad they made the honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich a regular now. Came here 2/26, Friday night, just wanted some Whataburger after work. The employee taking the order in the drive through was friendly and repeated back the order (we have a few things such as no onions, dry (no condiments.) Pull up to the second window and another employee asks for our receipt. She looks at it and walks away with it...then comes back with our order. It's completely wrong. Cheese on my burger, dripping in mayonnaise, ditto for my partner's. Fries instead of the more expensive onion rings--and both burgers are COLD. I called the manager and she said we could come back. Nope, I don't want to drive back. It's one thing if you make a mistake, but the employee asked for our receipt, looked at it carefully, and gave us what was clearly someone else's order. I've called the corporate number twice and each time I've been promised a refund of my $16.00 and some change. It has yet to show up. This location is full of morons. They can't get an order right to save their life. Calling the customer satisfaction number does not help because they don't improve anything. I've been frequenting this particular Whataburger for about 5 years, and for the most part I've never had a complaint until about 3 or 4 months ago. The overall quality in both order accuracy and food quality took a big dip (possibly due to new management). Burgers were cold like they'd been sitting out, items forgotten in the order and the overall wait time jumped up. Despite my misgivings I kept giving this location a chance, and eventually things seem to have improved in the last few weeks. The overall experience has improved since earlier this year, but doesn't seem to be quite as good as I've been used to. The staff (which appear to be inexperienced) still seem to be generally polite, so they've got that going for them. Hopefully they can continue to improve so I can frequent this location without worry again. read more

We: myself, my wife, and our friend from out of town, just visited this location. The customer service was okay, we ordered our food and got two separate orders. My wife and I's order came out on time and the food was okay, not as good as it usually was but our friend, who ordered a bacon cheeseburger was still waiting. We slowly picked away at our food while our friend was waiting for their order and after 15 minutes we asked what was going on with our friend's order and they said they're working on it now. We looked at the kitchen and no one was doing anything productive. After a full half hour of waiting my friend and I went back up to the register and they said they needed the receipt. THEN they started to prepare the food. When they finished the order, finally, they ripped off the half of the receipt that included the review. Thank God for Yelp! This place was just horrible on its customer service, managerial staff, and food preparation. To be brief, this place needs an upgrade in just about every way. I wish I could put less than one star. My friend, who is from Texas, has been extolling the virtues of Whataburger for a few years now. I remain unimpressed. Burger was maybe one step above McDonald's in that it was slightly bigger. Also, I really wanted to try the honey butter chicken biscuit, but they stop serving breakfast at 11 am. Seriously, I want to give you my money for a chicken biscuit - all you have to do is take it out of the freezer and throw it in the microwave. Fail. read more

The line is always long when I pop in at lunch time but it goes by relatively quick! The drive thru workers are so nice and seem genuine! My order is never wrong and they've even stopped before handing it to me to make sure they had it right. read more

This a good fast food burger place. Hamburgers can be made to order and they have a wide selection including chicken sandwiches. Fries are good shoestring style and they have big drinks and milkshakes. They serve the food to you and the employees are friendly. read more

I love Whataburger, but every time I come this location the burger is always cold. The burgers certainly are not made Fresh to Order.

Seriously took 10 minutes to place an order for one meal and to pay for it....then another 5 minutes for food. The sweet tea tastes like a very old batch, toast was cold. Order was delivered wrong - after going over my exact requirements at least three times when I ordered it. I love Whataburger, but I experience a lot of discrepancies in my orders. I never (rarely ever) have a discrepancy at other QSRs, but one out of three or four visits seems to be my average at Whataburger. read more

Went here to try their pancakes on Sunday. I asked for 2 orders of just pancakes since my kids only wanted pancakes. The person taking the order asked if I wanted the meal so I asked for 1 meal and and 2 orders of just the pancakes, and 1 apple pie. They asked me to pull up to the side and wait. While I was waiting a man came up to my car asking for a dollar! I didn't hav any change so I told him I was sorry I couldn't help. Then finally the order was brought out to the car. We really didn't feel like hanging around any longer so we left right away. I usually check the bag before I pull away from the drive through but on this day I did not! And boy did I regret that! I got home and found out they had charged me for everything I ordered but gave me 2 orders of just pancakes and the "meal" only had pancakes and one dry sausage patty, no hash browns. Always has had SLOW service, but that's to be (sort of) expected at Whataburger. My last visit was the worst and I won't be coming back to this location. I would rather drive out of my way than to deal with this aggravation. They took forever, my food was cold (cheese on burger unmelted); they overcharged me and gave me a lot of attitude when I pointed out I was charged for a whole meal when I ordered only the burger. I then had to pull around to the front and wait some more for a refund. The day I come to this Whataburger location and get my order correct will be a miracle! The overall quality of this place is terrible, employees are rude and move as if people have all the time in the world for them its called fast food for a reason people. This is a prime example why it is difficult for people to be in favor of raising the pay raise for fast food workers. Corporate needs to come down to this location and reevaluate its workers.
