When we entered, no one greeted us or explained how ordering worked. We ended up walking outside and finding a table on our own, only to later realize that we were supposed to order at the bar. When I went inside to order, I watched three other women walk in and the two men working immediately greeted them and explained the ordering process to them. I mentioned that no one had done that for my family, and instead of apologizing or acknowledging it, they simply pointed toward the menus. I then asked if they had high chairs. While I was holding my baby, they pointed toward where the high chairs were rather than offering to help me get one. I had to carry the high chair myself while holding my baby. As I was walking out, the employee walking in front of me didn't even stop to hold the door open. Ordering our food was also frustrating. I had six drinks to carry and asked for a drink holder. The bartender responded, "Oh, well, you can come back for it." Not exactly the kind of customer service you expect when someone is already carrying drinks for a family with small children. Then, when our food came out, my husband's patty melt had not been added to the order. When I brought it to their attention, I was told that the receipt showed I hadn't ordered it and that if I wanted one, I would have to go back up and pay for it. At that point, I declined. The biggest issue, however, was the condition of the patio area. We were sitting in the back patio because my 4-year-old was enjoying the play area. While we were there, four large rats ran across the fence line. I have never experienced anything like that at a restaurant. On top of the rats, I personally saw around five large cockroaches running around the tables. Seeing multiple rats and cockroaches around an area where people are eating was extremely disturbing, especially with three young children with us. Overall, between the lack of basic customer service, the problems with our order, and the number of rats and cockroaches we witnessed, this was an experience we will not be repeating. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because the cleanliness and pest situation, in particular, needs immediate attention

The folks working there were super friendly, and I really appreciated the hospitality. The dining area was also very clean. Now for the burger and fries: OMG, what a surprise! The burger was seriously so good. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. I visited close to closing time, so I was the only one there, but the place seems like it could be a really fun spot to hang out, especially with the outdoor patio seating. One small idea, if they haven't already considered it: it looks like there might be enough space for another food truck or two. An ice cream truck would be especially fun for families and could make the space even more interesting.
