I work near the what-burger and every time I come here Everything is as fresh and hot ! And they have really good customer service.

We have been sitting in the drive thru for 30 minutes and only 1 car has been helped. We have an online order to pick up that will likely be cold by the time we reach the window. This location has been going downhill for a few years now with smushed buns & just really sloppy food. Their service is 50/50. We will not be coming back to this location for awhile. read more

Who doesn't love this place. Now I'm a creature of habit and primarily eat seafood and chicken. So it's no real surprise that I'm about to rave about their honey butter chicken biscuits. I usually order a biscuit and a sprite with no ice. THAT'S IT! I've never been inside so I can't speak too much on it. But it seems to be the standard fast food place. Service varies. I've visited the Birmingham, AL, Monroe, LA, and Terrell, TX locations. All the same experiences for the most part. read more

No matter how hard you try to tell them, they do not know how to not put mustard in my burger! I told them no mustard, and there was still mustard on it! I've had many problems with this whataburger, so I go to one near Bucees. The feel in that restaurant is bad. It feels like a front to sale crack, and the workers look like they used all the product. This Whataburger has gone completely down the shitter just like everything else in Terrell. The wait in the drive through is at least 25-30 minutes on every single visit and going inside is not much faster than that. The last time I went inside to order this new employee could not figure out how to give a customer their change so another employee had to explain to her that the register does it all for you!! I despise this town and pretty much every business that's in it because no matter where you go everyone seems like they are total morons. This whataburger just needs to be closed. Just can't get good help. Placed my order thru the app so I could do a quick curbside pickup. I hate any drive thru. Having to repeat your order and then having them ask if you want this along with it. I still had to wait about 20 minutes for our food with curbside pickup. Ordered 2 drinks, 1 unsweet and 1 half and half. We only got one drink. I asked the guy about my other drink. He immediately answered you only ordered 1. Even without looking at the receipt. Had to find my order online then get out and walk inside. The lady finally asked if she could help me. So I explained and she virtually threw the cup down on the counter. Service was awful. Entered in plain view of the 4 people behind the counter with nobody in line, certainly nobody ahead of me. I waited as the 4 people behind the counter talked amongst themselves, not a single one of them acknowledging me or asking me to hold for service. When it seemed I was bothering their obviously very important task I decided to leave and go to the DQ across the street. This is by far one of the slowest locations I've been to. Every time I come through, doesn't matter if it's breakfast or lunch, you will sit and wait for 15-20 minutes every time. Food is good of course, it's just extremely slow. read more

This place is horrible came in at 8:10am with only 1 car in front of me in the drive thru. It is now 8:45 and I still can't get my order. I saw one cool come from the brookshire and finally started cooking. This place is slow and really seems like the staff doesn't care or bother to get the job done right. There was one employee walkimg the floor wearing his hat backwards. The manager walked up to him and said, "Boy! Turn it around, turn it around." The emplouee looked at him, as if to say...Really? "Either turn it around or take it off. Wear it right or not at all." The food was tasty, like really tasty. Been a long time since I lived near a Whataburger. Glad it didn't disappoint! My only compaint is that my first run at the sweet tea today was like a little cruel joke on me.... It was filled with unsweet tea. Whataburger Terrell, TX - Worst Whataburger ever! When we walked in on a Sunday afternoon an older lady greeted us and said "Welcome to McDonald." Turns out, she was the manager. The restaurant was only about 20% occupied when we arrived and the wait time for a family of 4 was over 15 minutes. Our order was a mess... - the 2 kids meals were each missing items - my wife's order was wrong and we were charged for items she didn't order - my cheeseburger did not have cheese and was cold While we ate the restaurant became more active and the manager and kitchen staff looked completely lost and the scene was chaotic. At least that is what is on my receipt was not ver nice in fact she was rude to me when I had to ask for my drink glass. The guy at the grill who was acting like the Ronald McDonald of Whataburger and thought he was the Boss was so immature and was acting a fool. I wanted a snack and was debating on their amazing cinnamon rolls or a hot apple pie. Today I picked the hot apple pie. It was crispy cinnamon apple goodness, hot and delicious. I also got a good chocolate shake to go with it. Staff was super friendly in the drive thru. read more

The Whataburger chain has been a family O&O business since 1950, and has even been named a "Texas Treasure" by the state senate. Ordering is like Carl's, Jr. in that you place your order order at the counter, get your drink cups and little pastic number tent and sit down. They bring your food out to you. Everyone was friendly and cheerful, from the counter girl who asked "What can I get fer y'all t'day?" to the guy who brought out our food. The food? Yes, the food ... OK, no avacado or mushrooms, otherwise you can "have it your way." You have a choice of four different kinds of bread, including whole wheat bun or Texas Toast. Then specify mustard, catsup, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and/or onions (raw or grilled). The onions are cut into little half-inch squares, not long and stringy like most places. My burger was pretty good -- not as good as the best I've ever had (like In-n-Out) but enjoyable. I would like to see Whataburger branch out into California. read more

You have to love Wattaburger if your a Texan but I gave this location 3 stars because of their drive thru service. Stopped in for a breakfast taco three times this week. Each time I was asked if I wanted salsa, the answer is always yes. Two of the three times it was not put in the bag. Yesterday a Co worker ran through the drive thru and received the wrong sandwich. From the time they took my order they were laughing so much they stopped listening and then asked for the order again I can forgive having fun at work I get it, but when you have nine people working and your food 1. We tried to refuse as we weren't trying for anything free but he insisted. It was a great shake as he said, Super nice and it was an awesome experience! This place is very slow and seem understaffed. Other than that it's a fast food joint! Expect the "grab bag" order. Daughter's pancakes were raw in the middle with incinerated bacon. Taquitos were so so at best with no seasoning to them. I have been disappointed in this Whataburger lately. Whataburger is one of my favorite places to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. Every time I've gone there lately the food has been prepared poorly. Flat burgers soggy fries and flat greasy breakfast biscuits. It's like they put them together and then pressed them down with there hands as hard as they could. I really wish the employees would take more pride In What they are doing. ordered 4 whataburgers received 3. the one with no onion was wrapped in normal paper and the one with onion said no onion. if I would have had an allergy this would be a serious issue not just an annoyance. the chicken strips that my sister ordered came with NO Texas toast which as you know is the best part. our burgers weren't hot and one of our family members had to share their burger bc we weren't given a fourth. please check your order before you drive away management needs to manage at this location read more

She kept telling me it was "pointless because once its mixed its all chocolate".
