    Burrito

The most mid burrito I have ever had, can't believe they charge $20 for this junk. Also had to wait for 20 minutes just to get it cold.

Food trucks by breweries is a genius idea. We got the Seattle burrito and it's interesting since it had french fries in it! It was pretty decent! It wasn't outrageously priced for a food truck. The lady was also super nice! She saw our attempts to get some salas out from their bottles (they ran out) and offered to scrap the remaining salas with a spatula and gave us extra jalapeños! Great service!

Horrible horrible service. Ordered a quesadilla, and a breakfast burrito with pork. Then he asked which one was "the veggie". We stated we didn't get anything veggie we wanted pork. We walk all the way back to our car to find out the breakfast burrito is a veggie burrito. We didn't care about the mistake just wanted the burrito to be correct so we walk back and ask for the correct burrito but then says that he confirmed it with us that it was veggie. We say we never even said the word veggie. He proceeds to say we said we wanted a veggie burrito and if we want a replacement we would have to pay again. Terrible service. Messing up orders then lying to the customer is a horrible look. Dont eat here.

Best Burritos I've ever had!! If you've not tried Whateke, you need too! We first discovered this incredible food truck a year ago when our 2 year old tried a bite of our burrito and wouldn't give it back! We now plan our weekly meals around when they will be at No Boat Brewery in Snoqualmie. The staff is so wonderful and friendly! After a year, we finally decided to try the other menu items and we were not disappointed. Their Asada is tender and flavorful, which can be very hard to find. Their Tomatillo Salsa is really really delicious too! I can't rave enough about this incredible food that Whateke consistently serves! We love you guys!

26 dollars for nachos that only has a sparse amount of beef and no beans. It wasn't even hot.

Tried them at Optimism brewing. Burrito was just barely okay and pretty damn expensive. Service was good though.

I picked up food from Raining Tacos for dinner one night while in the Rainier/Renton area…read more Raining Tacos is a bright orange food truck with a blue awning located right outside of a hardware store in the parking lot. For a food truck, they serve a fairly wide selection including tortas, burritos, California burritos, enchiladas, tacos, tamales, and more. I ordered the ENCHILADAS ($15), the CARNE ASADA ($18), and two MULITAS ($3.50 each) with PASTOR (marinated pork) and ASADA. Both the enchilada and the carne asada came with refried beans, rice, and a side of lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream as they were considered plates. The mulitas just came with some sliced red radish. All came with two containers of your choice of salsa verde medium spicy (green salsa) or salsa rojo (spicy hot red salsa). Note that extra salsa is extra. The ENCHILADAS were decent and had a nice verde sauce that melted into the rice and beans. The CARNE ASADA was just okay. It was somewhat tough and wasn't charred like the picture. The jalapeño that came on the side was nicely blistered though and surprisingly wasn't super hot (even with the seeds inside of it)! The lettuce, tomato, and avocado were fresh- just didn't get a lot of it. The MULITAS were disappointing for the price. Mulitas are usually small (hence their "-ita" name), but these were TINY (like 3-inch tacos) and were appetizers, if that. They didn't come with any sides and so my companion was still hungry and had to eat some leftovers to complement the mulitas. Service was alright. There was only one woman working on the hot evening I went, and I'm sure she was roasting, given that the whole truck was metal and I was roasting in the sun even outside! I got my food within 20 minutes after ordering, which is not bad considering that was only her working. There's a small outdoor seating area with a tarp outside the hardware store. Otherwise this place is takeout only. Other notes: - they have a sign that they've increased their prices due to higher costs of food - they don't have a permanent health rating yet (the food safety permit is pending), but was supposedly rated EXCELLENT as of January 2025 (at least written in sharpie on the sign). Overall: 3/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 3/5 for ambiance

While pulling into the parking lot, I noticed the food truck and thought well why not. Anything is better than Taco Time. I ordered the taco plate (3 tacos with rice and beans) with carne asada. My food came out pretty fast. I was also served two salsas, pickled jalapenos & carrots and a mint. I went to my car and opened my to go container and was impressed just at first glance. I honestly wasn't sure what I was getting myself into but at first looks, I was pleasantly pleased. I took my food to work and ate my desk. My first bites were of the beans and rice and I had to take a minute and pause. I literally felt like I hit the jackpot. Those rice and beans were slamming and did not disappoint! The tacos were good too. The grilled onions were pefection and the salsas were deliciouso! My only critique is the carne asada was slightly on the salty side but still delicious. Honestly, I sat there thinking while eating my food - do I go back on my way and grab a plate for dinner. I will have to find them on IG so I can follow them and get their schedule. Definitely, will return and try more!

For this visit I only did takeout, though I did get a chance to go inside with my friends as we were waiting for our orders. It's bright and extremely casual inside with ample seating, though nearly everyone that came in did takeout like we did. And there were people constantly coming in and out for the food here! Staff was quick in prepping everything and asking if we wanted extra sauce on the side. I got their carnitas plate, and as a takeout portions are huge here! Meat was flavorful, tender and savory; the jalapeños added a nice spice to the dish; and the extra sauces on the side added even more spice onto it that I enjoyed. The dish was wrapped well in a disposable aluminum plate and covered as well. This went for all of our orders, which included the burrito plate and taco salad. This place is easily one I'd come back to for Mexican food at a great price and quality!

We got chai on the house and they hooked it up with the sauces. We waited in the car and they delivered to our window. They used to open from 2-6pm(?) but changed their hours for Ramadan from 5-10pm to cater to their customers. The rice is extremely flavorful. I could eat the rice alone honestly. The meats are juicy with a hint of sweetness. The garlic sauce is perfect, I like the consistency. It's not super creamy like a ranch. It's more fluid, it comes right out of the container, no scraping needed. The green "hot sauce" gives the dish some acidity (although it can be spicier, it's more flavor than hot sauce) with the cilantro-vinegary feel and taste. The portions are huge. If you like The Halal Guys, picture that elevated. I am a loyal Halal Guys fan, don't get me wrong - I still love it, however Taste of Somalia is truly a level up. The Somali spices shine through delivering a much more robust and complex flavor profile. This is a must have. Thank you Taste of Somalia, can't wait to visit you again.
