This is advertized as a Mexican Buffet, but it's really a bar and dance parlor with table seating. I settled for a combination plate of enchiladas verdes with rice and beans... and of course, a Tecati. The enchildas were excellent... the rice was generic and the beans were whole. I was completely satisfied with the meal. It was Sunday night with only a few patrons, yet the disc jockey was in full swing and the music was penetrating. (I had to remove my hearing aids to survive! The guy next to me laughed.) Good thing I speak Spanish, the waitress didn't speak English... but it didn't matter anyway... we had to use sign language through the noise. I was invited to a party where this restaurant happened to be catering... It had a great presentation not only on the main dishes but desserts and aguas frescas.... The food was delish... They had chicken mole, pork, shrimp and birria. Rice and beans, green salad and macaroni salad. The staff very professional, friendly and very helpful too. The worst in every way, the decor is like a school gym when I was a kid. One server for the only 4 tables eating. Food and drinks are so expensive a screwdriver is 10.00 margaritas are $12. The chips and cold unsalted over cooked and served with A plastic ramekin of green sauce. Two of us ordered chicken flautas Each order had three and no rice or beans it was $10 and they were not much bigger than a pencil. The other person ordered the steak Asada small sloppy plate. This was my first time visiting a Mexican buffet & im so glad my husband found this place! Everything here is delicious , hot & fresh! It's about $15 per person on the weekend and we went on a Sunday! They have so much options for food , drinks , desserts & toppings! My favorite foods that was cooked there I couldn't stop eating was the tamales , pozole they made it so good, you can tell it's quality over and over again. This is definitely not American Mexican food. My son and I went on a Friday night. There was only one other person there. Person who greeted me was nice and friendly. The set up is low key. The Mexican dishes are homemade and very greasy. The rice was bland and needed to be mixed with some beans to add flavor. There was one item that I thought was a taquito. It was as hard as a rock. I could not eat the center portion. I let it set in some beans to soften up and it didn't. No tamales. The drinks were not cold. Dessert was canned peaches, jello, and chips. There were mini doughnuts and packaged danishes. All packaged store bought. There was the giant tub of puffed cheese balls from Costco. The hard boiled eggs didn't even look appetizing. Price was $12. I only had one plate of dinner and some peaches and jello to clean my palate. The food tasted ehh. I feel a little bad since it is definitely someone's home recipes. But seeing all those packaged store bought items in a restaurant really turned me off. Will not be back. read more

Such as: rice, pinto beans, pollo en mole( spicy chocolate sauce with chicken), chicharrón en salsa verde, tamales, taquitos dorados, creamy spaghetti, and a few more). On special days they have different types of soups like birria( spicy stew with goat meat and consume They have cut up fruit for some nice healthy dessert afterwards. Loved the egg dish and tried two platefuls of others. Good dessert selection - rice pudding was fantastic. There is a bar available. Juice drinks are part of the buffet (coconut, mango and something else, besides water), but soft drinks (hey, Mexican Coke!) are extra. Very friendly service. Most food had good flavor. But a lot of the food items were not labeled. This is important especially for people with allergies or other restrictions. Also, everything was kind of messy. Inconsistent labeling, random serving trays/dishes, etc. Also not a fan of the lukewarm agua Fresca that I had to pour myself. The buffet needs to be more organized. It kind of set up like a potluck at someone's house instead of an established restaurant. I think the owners need to go to other buffets and take some notes on how to organize their restaurant. I understand it's a small business but you can't cheap out on serving trays, labels, etc. read more
