Peter picked out a set that I never even got to approve before they were installed. Once the truck was pulled around, I immediately saw the wheels didn't fit properly and looked terrible. They also charged me for an alignment sheet without telling me, but when I went to get the alignment done, I was told the wheels were too wide for it to even work. When I asked for a refund, I was flat-out told no. The truck originally came with 34-inch tires--these were 33s and not even close to proper fitment. I returned the wheels and tires and tried to do the right thing, but they refused to refund me. I disputed the charge with my bank while they still had the wheels in their possession (as of December 23), but somehow they still managed to take the money back out of my account. To this day, I've received nothing but excuses and lies. Here's the worst part: I recently found out the actual cost of the tires is $596 for the set, and the wheels are $354 each--totaling about $1,570. I paid $3,800 CASH. That's over double the value for wheels and tires that don't even fit. This business is dishonest, greedy, and completely unprofessional. Do NOT trust them with your money or your vehicle. I called, spoke to Ron, I told him what I had on the car, but those tires had been replaced by the manufacturer with another number. He offered to order them for me as they were out. My car, my order for tires, but his name is 1st on the account. I drove by the store as it's on my way home to see if the tires were in because I hadn't gotten a call. Spoke with Ron, who apologized for the missing call and set me up with an appointment a few days away - my choice, he could of put them on then, but it was 5pm and I wanted to go home. Showed up for my appointment, told them I wanted the new tires on the back and the older ones on the front and they were fine with that. Pretty much each step of the process the service tech came and either asked if I wanted something done at no charge or what they had done at no charge. It involved replacing the old stems and adding caps to the stems that had no caps. It was a cold morning, but the waiting area was warm and sunny. Coffee and water was offered to me. Because I had an appointment, I got in and out in 45 minutes. I really appreciate the attitude at Discount Tires on S. Shields. I am always treated respectfully, never talked down to and they always seem to be happy even if I show up because my low tire light comes on when it gets cold. They even get me out in under 30 minutes for that annoying light, but I never feel like I'm putting them out. Do you remember Hidbon Tires before they became Tire's Plus? Discount Tires one ups them on the service and customer service. They are doing 1 thing and doing it right in my opinion.

Well the rim popped off the tire machine while they where doing the R&R of the tire. This was a brand new 750 dollar BMW 550I. I didn't want the kid to get stuck paying for it. SO I told them I'd get the rim refinished. It was$130 bucks at Wheel connection. It was 15 bucks worth of paint materials and MAYBE 2 hours of labor. So all in all Wheel connection had $30 bucks invested.. It took them two weeks to get this done and when I drove 3 hours round trip to pick it up. It was done HALF ASSED. NOT only that. The rear part of the rim wasn't even sprayed. 10 mins of extra work and the materials that they threw away could've covered it....I had them double check for OUT OF ROUNDNESS. and he said it was off a hair. SO they fixed it....(REMEMBER I SAID IT WAS A NEW RIM) Wheel they hit the rim and did a minor weld...CHECK my facebook and you'll see what I mean....
