I called on a Saturday morning to see about getting some service done on my tires. They were able to fit me in early afternoon. Got to my appointment a bit early. Went in at 5:30 for an appointment for new tires. Place was clean, they usually offer coffee, but it was empty, and the lobby was FREEZING cold. It's 25 outside. Turn on some heat! If I alone spent $1000.00, and yalls had customers all day, y'all can afford some heat. Also, close your bays. The north wind is blowing in on your employees! Close the bay doors and give them some heat. Lastly, you offer tires and wheels, you need to be doing and offering alignments. That's all read more

Worst service ever came in to get a nail removed from my tire and was told it would take 45 minutes still sitting her and was told it would take another 45 minutes. The team here was very helpful on finding a good replacement tire for my dads truck at a reasonable price. The only bad side of the process that they said it would be about an hour and it took a little over 2. We missed our dinner with family but the price was good and the service was very friendly. 2 years ago, I bought 2 new tires had them put on the back of my car and the older ones up front. So it was time to buy 2 more. I called, spoke to Ron, I told him what I had on the car, but those tires had been replaced by the manufacturer with another number. He offered to order them for me as they were out. I wasn't in a hurry so sure. They didn't ask for payment up front/over the phone. Was told they would call me. Husband got a call, not me. My car, my order for tires, but his name is 1st on the account. I drove by the store as it's on my way home to see if the tires were in because I hadn't gotten a call. Spoke with Ron, who apologized for the missing call and set me up with an appointment a few days away - my choice, he could of put them on then, but it was 5pm and I wanted to go home. Showed up for my appointment, told them I wanted the new tires on the back and the older ones on the front and they were fine with that. Pretty much each step of the process the service tech came and either asked if I wanted something done at no charge or what they had done at no charge. It involved replacing the old stems and adding caps to the stems that had no caps. It was a cold morning, but the waiting area was warm and sunny. Coffee and water was offered to me. Because I had an appointment, I got in and out in 45 minutes. I really appreciate the attitude at Discount Tires on S. Shields. I am always treated respectfully, never talked down to and they always seem to be happy even if I show up because my low tire light comes on when it gets cold. They even get me out in under 30 minutes for that annoying light, but I never feel like I'm putting them out. Do you remember Hidbon Tires before they became Tire's Plus? Very disappointed! 1st of all I have bought tires from them in the past and had no problems. My boyfriend (Mike) told me to price tires on the web. I did and he called to order them. I didn't notice that it was a different location. (Shawnee) My bf called to check on them and he ended up ordering them from the correct location. (Sheild's location,OKC) We have been in contact w/Aaron, Chad & the Shawnee location. It has been over two weeks now that we have been put on hold or passed off to the next person. First of all. These guys are very friendly and straightforward with explaining the solution to your problem. In my case it was my front passenger tire that had a screw in it. Hibdon up the street was rude and just said 5 hour wait and walked away. Anywho!, I came to Discount Tire on recommendation from my brother who takes the cars that are traded in to DT. He said they're really good guys and he goes there quite frequently. I am glad that I did!! I had great conversation while the gentleman helping me was putting my info in the computer. I purchased tires with a warranty and was told afterwards that they couldnt place them on because of the rim size. I then had to go to another shop that had no problem with putting them on but had to pay them for it. Unfortunately I had to call discount tires yesterday because of a tire problem but was told even though the warranty was purchased it was void because they didnt put the tires on. Had they mentioned that i wouldnt have even purchased the warranty. What a rip off... read more

I came here today for a new tire because I had a flat tire. The customer service here is very good in terms of professionalism. However, after replacing my new tires I found that my rims were scratched up. I told them about the issue and they agreed to fix it. I went to Discount Tire for the 1st and last time. I wanted to rotate the tires front to back. After waiting for half hour the guy comes over and says "We won't be able to rotate them because you already have the better tires on the rear and that's how it should be". Well, I DO want to rotate them because that's why they are that way. Front wheel drive car..all power and steering wear is on the front and most of the braking wear. Literally the best service at a tire store I've ever received, Aaron was awesome! I had new tires put on my car in san Diego in preparation for my cross country move to STL. A little over half way through we realized the 'snow tires' put on in sd were actually high performance tires when we almost slid across the road into a ditch after the temperature dropped. We called aaron, explained the situation and he called around to locate 4 all season tires. In the middle of replacing the tires he found some additional damage caused by the previous tire store, he explained the damage in great detail, gave us several cost effective options and saved us a ton on all of our repairs/expenses! I've been haggled, taken advantage of and mis informed at almost every other tire store I've been at and it was refreshing to experience such awesome customer service, they made a bad situation a lot better with their honesty and patience!
