Had we not spent a grand, we wouldn't care that much. But here we are. Will be disputing this charge.

Our register employee, Wilson, was very nice and initially gave him a discount on the service. However, the SERVICE MANAGER, DYLAN, stepped in and completely reversed the discount. Dylan's excuse for charging the full $80 was that it isn't a mountain bike and they are a "performance shop"--a weak and dismissive justification to use on a returning senior customer. While employees like Wilson are great, management's lack of flexibility and poor attitude toward a loyal customer means we will be taking our business elsewhere.

He let me know that is is something he could fix and that he was familiar with the issue. I let him know that we've tested the battery and the issue was with the controller. He let me know that it would be $150 + parts. This guy had my bike for 3.5 weeks before I heard anything from him. When I did hear from him, he let me know that he did not have any luck when contacting the manufacturer on their website and that I needed to pick my bike up immediately or he'd be charging me $25 a day in Storrage fees. I let him know that I need more of a heads up to pick THE BIKE up before he begins charging me $25 a day and I inquired on what website he was attempting to contact for THE BIKE. Apparently this guy had been contacting the wrong website the entire time. I gave him the correct site to contact and he said he'd get back to me. I heard back from him a couple days later again with him, threatening Storrage fees if I didn't come pick it up. He was extremely rude, still charged me $150 for nothing, and charged me $50 because it took me two days to come get the bike. This guy is extremely rude and disrespectful and over charges for his own negligence.

He kept me in the loop with other things that the bike needed to repair on, and he did the work on it as well. I can say when I took the bike to him the bike was super dirty. I think he went beyond and even washed the bike unless I'm crazy and didn't notice it but Bob if you're reading this, thank you so much for the work and cleaning the bike as well.
