Haven't used my bike in years. Bob was able to clean and tune the bike up so that my son can enjoy it a little summer!

Bob did such an awesome job working on my bike after my race out at sea otter I realize my tires needed to be swapped out for new ones(tubeless and sealant & installation ) I found the shop nearby and I messaged him and he was able to do it . He kept me in the loop with other things that the bike needed to repair on, and he did the work on it as well. I can say when I took the bike to him the bike was super dirty. I think he went beyond and even washed the bike unless I'm crazy and didn't notice it but Bob if you're reading this, thank you so much for the work and cleaning the bike as well. Bob has fixed flat tires on my bicycle two times now, and it's always been a pleasure to do business with him. The fact that Coyote Cycles is a locally owned business that's in front of the man's home is awesome. He adds a sense of humanity when I come in to get my bike repaired; I don't feel like he's in this job just for the money. He gave me a free specialized screwdriver for my bike when I came in two weeks ago! I love that his house is less than 10 minutes from my house, so I don't have to lug my bike on my car for long distances. I used to go to Summit Bicycles at the Plant on Curtner, and, like other bike shops in the South Bay, having to drive far out and park in a parking lot, unload your bike, and walk it into a store was a hassle. To sum it up, if you live in the Santa Teresa area, there really isn't a better option for you to go and get your bike fixed. So this will be my first review during this crazy Covid-19 shelter in place. In attempt to take my son bike riding...we realized the tires were flat, pedals broken and brakes loose. Not to mention it's been sitting out in the backyard picking up cobwebs and dust. I went to yelp to send out requests for quotes and not only was Bobs response immediate. He was very professional and the communication only got better from there. He came today in the morning, with a mask on and practiced social distancing. My thru axle wouldn't go all the way in, looked like the threads were destroyed. Initially went to another bike store where they told me that it's not repairable and to just buy a new part. I'm new to Coyote Cycles. I was introduced to this vender by Yelp. Reason for my choice: Vendor was located close to me. I liked that they had a 5-star rating. Reviews indicated vendor has excellent skills and customer service. Short operating hours concerned me a tad, but no deal breaker. Generally, people leave reviews to complain - not this vendor, though. Many reviewers signed on to praise him. My Experience at Coyote Cycles: In a nutshell, excellent! Though they are open less hours than most, ironically, I've never had any of my bikes serviced at shops open 6 days a week ever return my bike to me serviced faster than Coyote Cycles. What?! Yes, I can see that, after being surprised. Bob is very tech savy and efficient. Unlike other shops I've been to, Bob actually enjoys working on bikes. So much so, he seems to fly through the repairs. After a careful examination, he has a plan and ready to roll. Other shops I attended make me wait, then finally give the bike a quick look-see before giving me a price and pick-up time or date. Then they put the bike aside and lumber to the current bike they are grudgingly working on and I'm dismissed. Bob got to my bike quickly, and when he inspected the bike, I could tell the care that everyone here talks about, how he approaches his repairs. I can only describe him as a "Bike Whisperer". Yes, I'll be returning here for my bike repairs and modifications. I totally recommend him. Reasonable prices and he let me know about any additional costs for special service requests for the bike. I needed to replace my son's bike tubes. I had no idea where to go so I used Yelp to get quotes. I called Coyote Cycles back today and asked if I can bring it in, wait and get it done on the spot. I was shocked to hear yes! Not only that, I was shocked of the great service that Bob provided. Bob did not only replace the tubes, he added the tubes sealant, did a courtesy check on the brakes and the gears and adjusted them. All for the price of replacing the tubes.
