The bartender here is a complete jerk who doesn't give a crap about his patrons was completely rude to my entire family while visiting. Stuck up portentous jerk. No Australian, New Zealand or European beer here. They played 90s overplayed songs. It seems like a successful place with decent ambiance but that bartender was horrible. This is my kind of bar! Super low key, yet right in the middle of all the action downtown. Where's Jubes looks like it was previously a brewery since it still has several towering brewing tanks in the back of the bar; however, they do not brew here. Don't fret because they have quite a few great drafts available including Fosters, which I don't see on draft often. We were just looking for a affordable soda somewhere in the downtown area and this place had so much character it just drew us in. The bartender was really friendly and told us that they have been open for two years now. The happy hour specials run from open to 7pm each day so I was able to score a $4 Sweetwater 420. Nancy wanted a coke and that was another $2 with no charge on refills, cool! The bartender also informed me that all wells and most of their other spirits including Jack Daniels is only $4 during happy hour, great!! There is seating inside and outside the bar, two medium sized booths for chilling with friends and plenty of screens to watch the big game. I highly recommend checking them out if your in the area especially since drink prices are averaging $8-$10 around this part of town. read more

Great bar on the corner of Central avenue Downtown St Pete. We were checking out the downtown area and stopped in for a beer. The bartender was very friendly and even gave us free tickets to a pub crawl that evening. The bar has some very comfortable booths and also seating on the edge where you can sit out and watch people go by. I really liked it here and will be back. read more

Where's Jubes is one of my absolute favorite bars to stop in at when I'm in DTSP for a night. Each time I've been there the DJ is awesome and I have a blast with my friends. The bartenders can at times be a little curt but for the most part they're friendly. The drinks offered are varied which is ideal and we usually snag a spot in one of the two booths towards the back of the bar. It gives us a chance to sit and chat with another while still being able to dance a little. Some of the drinks offered are slightly expensive but for the most part they're ok. Either way, Where's Jubes is high on my list if you want to have a good time with friends. read more

Very rude bartenders. You ask for anything after your drink (ie a water or lime) and they look at you like shit on the bottom of your shoe.

10/10 recommend jay the security guard will get you right made sure we were always taken care of

Bartenders to the bouncers welcomed us with welcome arms and let us stay till the end of the night until they HAD to kick us out on a Wednesday when they weren't even supposed to be open. Good prices. The beers are amazing! Hawaiian porter - my favorite - not too heavy. Hints of coffee. Watermelon Sour - almost like a jolly rancher. After a few sips really started to enjoy it. Finally, an Australian bar! Although there's nothing Australian on the menu... Yet (so the bartenders said). It's only a small bar in the middle of downtown but the vibes are great and there's craft beers for cheap. There's currently no food being sold here (another thing soon to be available according to the staff) As an Australian, I'm very excited to try their Australian foods and beers later on. read more

I had the opportunity to visit here during their soft-opening week on a Sunday afternoon. The place has a fun vibe with unique music. They have eight beers on tap. Currently they are local beers, but they will be switching to their own beers after they finish brewing their first batches. Beers come in two sizes, a "cup" and an Australian Pint. The menus say their cups are 12 oz. I was there during happy hour (where cups are only $2). I don't think the cup I had was likely more than 6 or 8 ounces though. That's fine with me because the price with or without happy hour is great. However, I do recommend they update the menu with the proper size to avoid further confusion. Either that or there is another size they use during happy hour. I really wasn't sure. This place seems fun and I am glad they are open now. I believe their grand opening is this Wednesday 6/15. Looking forward to trying out their own beers. read more

Came here thinking it was an "Australian" bar. Definitely not. I was thinking there would be Australian beers on tap and more Aussie themed items. Not sure if this will change in the future. Also the menu is very hard to see because the background is black and the writing is fine print for those who are visually impaired you may need another source to read menu items. It definitely has potential to be something so we will see. A lot of their ingredients are not available at the moment. I know there's a grand opening event next week. Hopefully more ingredients come in before then to make up for being open with many lacking items. read more

This place I will never step foot in again. Not only is the service atrocious even on a slow night--but the bartender I had added false tips to my tab. Luckily I kept my receipt (the rare occasion I did) and am currently disputing this charge with my bank. Do yourself a favor and go to Five bucks instead--just a few doors down, cheaper prices, honest and fun bartenders. We love it there. Hate it here. read more

Checked this place out with my hubby after being excited for something new DT. Severely disappointed, my mixed drink was terrible (never knew you could mess up a captain and coke) but stranger things have happened. Also the bartenders were not personable whatsoever. Furthermore, if I'm going into a bar with my husband ladies, do not bend over backwards for him and ignore me... hint: I'm the one tipping. In addition to all these things, I find out this is not an authentic Aussie bar. Nothing new or different about this place... in fact, it's owned by the same guy who owns majority of the bars DTSP. Frustrating!!!! Hubby liked their beer so that's the reason for the 1 star. read more
