Really cool coffee shop serving a very good coffee. I mean really good coffee. They serve cold brew as well as standard espresso drinks. They use coffee beans slightly high in acidity, I enjoyed both cold brew and espresso. I liked their decor inside, records and cassette tapes. Couches were comfortable. Good place to relax with a cup of good coffee. Wifi said to be available but I couldn't connect when I was there, it could be user error. Password was taped on tables. read more

Came across this place when the power went out in our house and I needed a place to work. I LOVE this place. First of all, the lavender bourbon vanilla latte is the BEST - so yummy and secondly, the work space is great. Big tables, lots of charging ports, and an overall comfortable environment to be stuck in for a few hours. Oh, and the customer service is great. The staff is quite friendly and accommodating. I only gave it 4 stars (not 5) because the cost of my favorite drink is off the charts. Once I add whip cream, Coconut milk (instead of whole milk) and the brown sugar lavender syrup, my drink ends up being about $11. Therefore, that is a treat and not a regular occurence in my life (probably a good thing). Great coffee place though. I will definitely be back. read more

Very cool locally owned joint. Great fresh baked on site pastries. I got my wife a fudge muffin thing that she really loved. They also make the vanilla on site and my vanilla ice coffee was one of the best I have ever had. Friendly helpful staff on top of all the other great things Highly recommend read more

Cool local spot. Great place for those who work from Home and want a Change of environment. Staff is always super friendly. I did have an issue with the Wi-Fi last time I was there but I think they had someone working on it so it was messing with the signal. Great cold brew! read more

This is what a coffee shop should be. Fresh tasty brews made by expert hands. The quality is evident at first sip. Fresh baked goods that invite you to come again and try them all. The young man at the counter is a member of the owning family and he is welcoming, delightful, knowledgeable and down to earth. That kind of summed up the vibe for me. Ahwatukeans, please visit this place so they stay in business. One coffee or tea drink from here and you will never settle for the Starbucks or dunkin's of the world. We are lucky to have this place. I make it a point to stop here whenever I'm on this side of town. I love those little nook, boutique coffee shops that really care about their coffee and their customers. They also get extra bonus points for selling my favorite Intelligentsia coffee (out of Chicago). I am always greeted by a knowledgeable and not at all snobby barista who is happy to answer my coffee questions. For the longest time I ordered the Cubano (perfection!) but have recently begun just buying a small, regular drip coffee and doctoring it up myself with honey and half and half, which they provide in a little carton from Trader Joes. They never let me down! And the comfy couches and free wi-fi are a plus when you need a quiet place to hang out and get some work or studying done. read more

In a busy little nook of Ahwatukee, tucked away in one corner lies a coffeehouse called WhereYouBean. A mom and pop setup that has a wonderful homely feeling with a modern ambience. As soon as you walk in you can smell the wonderful aroma of beverages and delectables being concocted behind the counter in the far corner. The staff is so friendly and easy and laid back. Never short of greeting you with a smile and always happy to pour you your favorite beverage to excellence. Me and my wife came here for tea and dessert. We love this place because although the didn't have the biggest selection of desserts nor teas, they still had a nice selection and we really enjoyed what we got. It's a nice atmosphere and very importantly, it is open sufficiently late For dessert we shared a small gluten free almond cake which had coconut and was similar to a macaroon. It looked like it would be too dry, but it turned out to be very moist and delicious. We were told they make their own desserts in-house. We already have a hankering for another one of those almond cakes! read more

I normally have great experience here. Not so today. I ordered Colorado cold brew with oat milk and half the sweetness which usually does it for me. But is was super sweet! So not happy at all. I also ordered grain salad which basically was a 1/2 cup of quinoa with very little else as described. I should have tried right then and there but have invisalign so had to wait to get home. read more

This place is nice! The ambience inside is cool and there's lots of seating. However the cold brew is very weak/watery, and for $6 for 20 oz I probably wouldn't come back. Might be good for other types of coffee! read more

I love this place and I usually dislike going to coffee shops. From house made ingredients, to just the overall atmosphere of WUB, everything is perfect. I am not a big coffee drinker, and all of the employees there help you decide what kind of drink you want if that might be the case. There are so many regulars here its almost as if everyone here is friends. The music isn't loud and obnoxious and it's easy to focus when doing homework. By far the friendliest environment I have been in. On top of that, they sell coffee beans from direct trade companies, which is apparently a more fair way of buying coffee than fair trade. My favorites here: - Brown sugar syrup cold brew - Moroccan Mint tea - Honey lavender macha - all of their bakery items (zucchini bread, pecan bar, and the bombay tres leches cakes are the best). read more

This was my first time at WhereUBean and it was a great experience! I ordered a hot, vanilla oat milk latte. They make their own vanilla syrup so I had to try it and it was absolutely delicious! Ok wow !! I am usually basic and get a soy latte, but this the BEST vanilla soy latte I have EVER had ! The young lady upfront mentioned they make the vanilla flavor with vanilla bean , you can definitely taste the difference from your typical vanilla syrup. read more

This is a cute little shop! There's a portrait type of artwork done on a slab of old cassette tapes. Pretty cool! There are several areas where you can sit and chill or do some work. There are books in the entertainment center, probably more for display, but perhaps you could read through on on several visits? They serve Intelligentsia Coffee, organic teas, hot chocolate, and baked goods. You can also buy mugs, syrups and organic loose leaf teas by the bag as well as cold beverages from the fridge. My daughter & I ordered the White Mocha Latte. We enjoyed it!! My nephew ordered a Breve. It's what he always gets, so he must love it!! He frequents this place especially after school. They also have WhereUChill, which is their ice blended signature espresso with milk. The name, WhereUChill, sounds funny! My sister-in-law had been wanting to bring my daughter & I here for a while and I am glad she finally got the chance to! read more

WhereUBean is very conveniently located near restaurants, including Spinato's. It has a cute and cozy atmosphere, and has a good local vibe. It is a relatively quiet coffee shop; they have a few tables and couches inside with lots of seating availability, so it's a good place to grab a coffee and study for the finals. They have good wifi connectivity. I received nice service from the barista, and the prices are similar to Starbucks (see picture for menu). The Americano tasted like it was well-brewed. I wish they will have more customers in the future - I couldn't ask for more in a coffee shop. read more

I was in the area and stopped by for much needed caffeine. They're sticking to curbside ordering and pickup during this time, so a very kind individual walked outside to assist me. I ordered a half-sweet soy iced mocha and a piece of chocolate espresso cake (it may have a different name - but they'll know what you're talking about). The drink was good and the espresso held up well against the soy milk and mocha. It was the jolt I needed to wake me up. The cake? Incredible. It was moist, had a rich chocolate flavor, and tasted homemade. I would go back for the pastries alone. The have a couple tables outside as well if you'd like to stay and enjoy your purchases. read more

First time into Where U Bean and had a great coffee date! Iced chai tea latte with almond milk (I appreciate that they offer unsweetened almond milk! Perfect addition to your chai without being overly sweet). Iced americano with a splash of oat milk was delicious and espresso was smooth. Apple butter cake was not dry (which can happen with items sitting in a bakery case!), had a delicious crumb topping! Not much Apple flavor but we still enjoyed it. This place is adorable. They have a bigger couch and two small arm chairs along with tables for working. I can honestly say this is probably one of the best cold brews that I have ever had. Service was friendly. Came around 8am on a Monday and the place was pretty much empty except for one other person. Parking is plentiful since it's on a strip next to other businesses. In 2013, the #WhereUBean story began when our founder Imraan set out on a journey to bring the best possible coffee to the Phoenix area. After tireless research, a family trip unknowingly became a gateway to making this happen when he was taken to Intelligentsia Coffee in Chicago, and realized that THIS brand of coffee combined with the vision of a WhereUBean coffeehouse would resonate with the Phoenix community. Thus, WhereUBean was launched as your coffeehouse brewing only the highest quality direct trade coffees from Intelligentsia and a selection of flavorful teas. Over the years, WhereUBean has grown to become the place to come for quality espresso drinks and a line of delightful baked goods all made in house. We now also offer breakfast burritos, made in house too. All our coffee and tea drinks can be enjoyed iced or hot. C'mon, it's Arizona!

While I was just the baker since WhereUBean opened in 2013, I recently took on the role as owner and am very excited to continue serving our amazing customers with the best coffee, tea and baked goods. My family has been involved with WhereUBean since the very beginning, and together, we are building this coffeeshop into the kind of business that Phoenix can call family. We are open for inside seating as well as outdoor seating, with online ordering available to allow for you to order our amazing espresso drinks, teas and baked goods to go and with minimal contact should you prefer that. There is a nice variety of sweet treats, and the service provided by the team inside the truck was stellar. One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. I was on a trip to Phoenix from Albuquerque and was in search of some good coffee in the morning of my trip. What had initially attracted me to this place were their specialty drinks. At the time of my visit they had a cool Game of Thrones promo where they'd make drinks based on the different houses of the series. I had just missed it, which was unfortunate but it seems as if they do it regularly with what's popular at the time. I decided to skip those specialties and go with a vanilla latte. The coffee arrived and I felt a little disappointed. It was just... Weak? The prominent flavour was vanilla and I could hardly taste the coffee at all. The cafe latte here is really very good! And goes down smooth!! Thank God for WUB - I can now enjoy lattes again!! I love lattes, and used to enjoy them alot. Over the years, something changed where lattes did not like me. I'd indulge in a latte, and shortly thereafter, feel a burning, ulcer like discomfort. Happened so often that I had to stop the lattes.
