Not only is William the owner completely transparent about the cost of the repair, he is honest and extremely fair in his pricing. The quality of his workmanship far excedeeded my expectations, as he installed the best high-end quality brass valves, copper pipe, and pressure regulator at the expense of smaller profit margin on his end. I had a massive leak that catapulted my water bill to $701.16 from the typical $36-$38. After William identified the cause as excessive high pressure via pressure testing (which no other plumber had ever done - water pressure was 105 psi instead of the typical 70 psi), William even went out of his way to adjust downward the cost of the repair after I had explained my financial hardship. I know from other plumbers that the cost of this repair would have approached $2000, but William offered his service at half of that amount. I've learned William and his wife are devout Christians and the quality of his work, service and his ethics are proof of him living a Christ-centered life. The technician also advised me there was a 35.00 service fee that the office never told us about, and when I advised the technician we were never advised there was a service fee, he said to forget it then since we weren't told. Also, we were never sent an official written estimate from Struse for the proposed work, just a email stating the 35.00 service fee that we weren't suppose to pay was past due. When spoke to the office manager today about all of these issues and the fee, she stated their normal fee just to show up at the door was 140.00, so my balance of 35.00 was due. She also stated their pricing is by job, not materials used. I told the office manger this pricing is extortion in a town full of retirees that can't do this kind of stuff for themselves and that we would never use Struse Plumbing again!
