I have always been happy with Which Wich, and I always get the same sandwich. Cold ham and cheese. Today I went in and they started to ring it up hot so I told them I wanted it cold. They changed it on the order. The person the. Proceeded to make it hot. I like the bread here. I don't want toast, for crying out loud; I want bread. I'm also furious that the person told me it's "always" hot when I asked for cold and when I've gotten it cold a number of times. What a waste of time and money. So I went back in and filled out for a cold regular. That's what I got, because I wasn't going to pay extra twice for a large with extra cheese. So now I have two sandwiches that aren't exactly what I want and I'm out 20 bucks. If I want a toasted sandwich, I'd go to Quiznos. This was my first visit to Which Wich and I was a little overwhelmed by the bags on the wall (you're supposed to mark which wich you choose with a sharpie). Instead I went up to the register and was walked back to the bags. Too many choices so I selected a tuna wich and fries. I waited quite some time. I was expecting a quick turnaround like at Subway or Potbelly's. No, your food is prepared behind a barrier and you were supposed to mark the toppings you wanted on the bag. It was about 20 minutes at which time I decided to take my food to go. I had a dr appointment so I took my wich into the office with me (didnt wanna leave a tuna wich in a 100 degree car). I carried my bright yellow which wich bag into the waiting room. The wich was ok, nothing spectacular. I prefer the tuna sandwich at other establishments. I wouldn't order the fries again. Which Wich was my sister's go to sandwich spot when she was at the University of Iowa. So, when a Which Wich opened near me, I wanted to try it. When I entered Which Wich I grabbed a sandwich bag and filled in my order. This was new to me but I was able to figure it out and ordered successfully. An employee also explained this to me. Because I wanted to try everything I could, I ordered a French Dip sandwich, French fries, milkshake, and cookie. The sandwich was fine, a little better than your average sandwich shop sandwich but not super memorable. The French fries were really good and I enjoyed the skinnier fries. The milkshake was again ok but not great. The cookie, I thought, was the best thing I had from Which Wich. The food was average but what was really shocking was the price. This meal was $25.02. This was really expensive. A dinner for two would cost over $50! This caused me not to want to go back. It makes it really difficult to take a family here for food. For adequate food and really high prices, I cannot recommend Which Wich! read more

The food is pretty good. The people working there are very nice. HOWEVER, make sure you check your order before you leave. I've ordered 3 times, once on Door Dash, twice as a walk in. 2 out of three times they forgot something. Through Door Dash, they refunded me for not getting the avocado I paid extra for. That was okay, except I really do enjoy avocado on my sandwich. Last time I went there, yesterday, I ordered a French Dip for my husband. When I got home, I got the French, but not the Dip. Not cool. I don't live very close, so I didn't bother to call and complain. I wasn't driving back to get the Dip. So make sure you check it before you leave. read more

I purchased a package of discount coupons through the Appreciation Perks program in June 2024 with coupons valid for one year. On Saturday March 1, 2025, I visited the Arlington Heights location to place an order for two sandwiches. I was told that they would no longer honor the discount coupons. I spent over $20.00 money for this discount program and apparently this franchise believes they don't have to live up to their commitments. I won't be patronizing this location ever again and they just lost a customer. I intend to complain to Which Wich headquarters and the BBB as well. read more

It was my very first time at Which Wich. I decided to choose the ingredients of my sandwich. I chose ham, cheddar cheese, oil & vinegar dressing and oregano. I did not realize they put the sandwich through an oven on a conveyor. It turned out to be a very tasty sandwich. It was warm and on fresh baked bread. Honestly, the manager guy was super nice-he gets a 5 star rating, but overall experience gets like 2 stars. I did an online order, went to get it at the time it specified, and he said their system never printed the order so they didn't make it. He apologized, explained everything, asked to see the order on my phone-wrote it, then said it would be two minutes for the sandwiches I ordered. I was very understanding, I wasn't in any rush. He said I could take chips to make up for it, again he was very nice. I waited probably 7-10 minutes, got my two sandwiches and chips, and went home happy. I opened my sandwich and was honestly pretty disappointed. I had never been here before-for the price-I expected a lot more. It had almost all the meat on one side, didn't have any noticeable cheese, the onion strings were very hard, and the bread was overcooked so it was hard and falling apart. Don't even bother. Seriously. Friend and I stopped in for sandwiches and shakes, because I Doordashed from Which Wich before & it was ok. I got a muffuletta which says in the description has olive salad on it. Friend got the buffalo chicken but chose provolone instead of blue cheese. He also asked if their jalapeños were pickled or fresh, the girl said fresh. I didn't check olive salad as a topping because it's supposed to come with it. I also checked oil & vinegar. Mine didn't have olive salad or oil and vinegar. My friend got blue cheese AND provolone (eww), and the jalapeños were pickled. We took it to go (about a 5 min car ride) and weren't about to go back to complain (both hungry and a but tired). But neither of us finished our food. I don't think any of them knew what they were doing at all, at one point the little order bag you write on got slingshotted to the floor somehow. Comical but should have seen that red flag. And it seemed like the three of them were trying to figure out how to make sandwiches? Oh, nearly forgot about the fries! My friend got fries. Which Wich is a fantastic sandwich restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful. The sandwiches are amazing. The fries are delicious. Staff is wonderful. My ONLY complaint (and this is very minor), is the smell. I don't know what it is, but the smell of this place doesn't smell good at all. And I can't wrap my head around what this place smells like. When you walk into Subway, you can smell the bread. When you walk into Jimmy John's, you can smell the bread. When you walk into Potbelly, you can smell the hot sandwiches. At Which Wich, you don't smell any of that. It's like a metallic kitchen? It's hard to explain. I guess all I'm saying is, please do something about the smell inside. I don't care if it smells like fruit or Lysol when I walk in. I just would love if the smell inside was just a little better. Overall I like this restaurant and I hope the very best for them. Just tried the Philly Sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The bread is awesome, the protein was amazing! Definitely going to be going to Which Wich for my subs! Also the management team there corrected a delivery issue with a third party in a heartbeat. You can't buy good customer services like that any more. But they went above and beyond to correct a mistake that wasn't even theirs. The bottom line though is the food here is great! I'm really surprised to read some of these negative experiences! We visited them a couple times before the COVID quarantine and again during the lock down by ordering in advance through the mobile app. Every time our sandwiches have been made right and are delicious! I was hungry so I gave this new concept sandwich shop a try. I had the ultimate BLT sandwich, regular size. There is also a large size but the regular size was plenty big enough. And oh boy was it good. The best sandwich I have eaten in a long, long time. Maybe ever. The next day I went back and had the Brunchwich. The Brunchwich came with a sunny side up cooked egg on top so it was a little messy. And after that BLT any other sandwich might struggle. The Brunchwich was good. I plan to work my way through their list of sandwiches. The sandwiches are not cheap but the quality is so high that it's a good value. The service is good and the staff is friendly.
