Along with the burrito I had a hand full of onion rings which were good. Went to pick up food on the way home from a race. It was busy, so had to park across the street. The ordering was fairly quick, but took quite a while to get the food - but they were busy. I ordered the Rokka Pollo and it was VERY tasty, The garlic, olive oil, and rosemary combo was great. The chicken was also tasty and juicy, but somewhat of a rubbery/chewy texture unfortunately. It was moist and near perfection IMO. BA's offers their sandwiches in two sizes: BIGS & SMALLS. The large one is truly HUGE and packed with a lot of meat. The grilled bun was like a fluffy pillow. The service was really exceptional- from samples to free ice cream to just plain friendliness! My girlfriend and I have driven past this place numerous times and spoke about how inviting it looked with the smoker going full blast and we finally decided to stop in for lunch. Never been before and didn't know anything about this place but i looked up "great BBQ places in west suburbs" and it came up. Went on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed. Ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. The people taking orders were super friendly and helpful. The bun was fresh and the fries were piping hot. The brisket was piled generously. A nice guy named Rocco came by my table and said "I noticed your brisket looked a little bit dry to me, here are some extra slices of even better brisket for you." maybe my brisket was a teeny bit dry but it didn't affect the flavor and I was very happy with my sandwich. However, he put several juicy cuts with nice bark and an awesome smoke ring on my table and they were phenomenal. Even more flavorful than the ones on the sandwich. That is an example of a place that does not rest on its laurels. I really appreciated that gesture. He came by again to make sure everything was ok. Another guy who I think was his father came by later and asked how everything was and then asked how I was doing and how my week was going. Thought that was super nice. They were constantly wiping down and cleaning the counters and the soda area. The bathrooms were very clean as well. This place is a home run. That's how you run a restaurant. Honestly, I don't see people running restaurants like these guys ran this place. Everything was fresh. So happy I went. I will definitely come back to try something new. Hope they stay a big success. I had SUCH a positive first experience at Big Ange's Eatery and already can't wait to go back! I was greeted upon arrival by literally all staff members. Everyone was so cheery! Bobby and Rocco engaged in conversation with me right away and, after learning that it was my first time there, started by introducing me to the menu and telling me that I was welcome to try any of the meats! I had never tried the tri tips before and my friends were all raving about it, so Rocco so kindly brought me a sample of tri tips as well as brisket so I could compare the two. We arrived around 2:15 pm, about 15 minutes before our pickup time, and the restaurant was still packed. The pickup process was a bit chaotic--the older woman helping customers initially told us that our order was completely sold out and asked us to wait off to the side. About 10 minutes later, a younger staff member checked our order again and let us know it would be ready shortly. Overall, the pickup experience was far from smooth, but the food made up for it. The prime brisket was easily one of the best I've had--tender, flavorful, and worth the hype.
