Today, Tuesday, December 2 the sandwich of the day was the Gyro witch. I'm glad it was because I definitely wanted to try this kind of sandwich and it actually did not disappoint. The meat they use is Gyro style meat made of beef and lamb, not the best I've had but good enough to satisfy my hunger. The toppings really made the sandwich, the sandwich comes with tzatziki sauce and cucumber, but I added a spinach, red onion, hummus, and banana peppers to mine. I had mine with the wheat bread, which was also pretty good. As far as affordability, definitely a good spot to check out. I wouldn't necessarily consider the taste of the sandwich superior though. The girl at the checkout was really friendly. Ordered a regular size Cuban and a regular size BLT with extra bacon. The Cuban was so small, I could wrap my fingers all the way around it. Like a very small burrito. A Cuban only has meat and pickles. You can't skimp on meat if that's the main ingredient! There was literally bread showing thru the "layer" of grey pulled pork meat. I paid $15.50 I paid $3 more for extra bacon on the BLT. What I got was extra large pieces of undercooked fat. There was one piece so large, I thought it was a potato chunk!! I wish it had been a potato instead of a large, floppy piece of pork fat. I paid $17 for extra large flabby pork fat. ***UPDATE TO REVIEW*** Owner reached out regarding my review and told me I was lying and I never had my child there. Please see the attached pic of my son in the restaurant yesterday lol. He also stated I didn't have my baby with me and I was welcome to review footage. I literally walked in with my infant daughter on my hip. Then proceeded to walk out to the truck to change her diaper because again, they don't have changing tables in the restroom. This place sucks and the owner is a tool. Rather than accepting responsibility for poor service and shitty employees he'd rather call customers liars. If he really wants to play this game I also have dashcam footage of us walking into the restaurant with our 2 children. I literally have no reason to lie, but now they've pissed me off so AVOID AT ALL COSTS Walked in and the place was empty minus 2 people who ordered to go. Counters were dirty and so were the tables and chairs. Restrooms were also gross, and there were no changing tables, had to change my baby in the car. Workers were rude, didn't wear hair nets and their attitude was awful, treated my family like a bother when we ordered. They acted like cooking fries was the end of the world, take it off the menu then! All she did was take them out the freezer in a bag that was already portioned and threw it in a fryer. My family mostly enjoyed their food but we also have eaten since the evening before so we were starving. My buffalo chicken sandwich was lazily put together. I placed an online order through Grubhub. At first it went through to my closest which wich, but was switched to this one instead (not sure what happened there). Order took 2 hours to be made and delivered, but once it did arrive I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of reviews show how their sandwich was bad or made poorly, but part of that can be avoided if you know how to order a good sandwich! My grinder tasted great, made exactly as I ordered, and had no issue with the meat or portions of my toppings. Everything was packed and wrapped nicely. First of all- I love Which Wich. I'm hooked for life. What other restaurant like this has an extensive menu with tons of options. Hungry for lunch? Get Hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, kids meals, cookies,fries, shakes, and the list goes on for a while. Not to mention you can get all their great sandwiches through catering. Yes, you heard me right. They cater! Needless to say this particular sandwich shop stood out to me. When I stoped in the owners were there and they were genuinely kind and very nice. It's always good to see that they care enough to be present. I don't think I've ever seen owners at other places. But needless to say that the employees were very happy and everyone was professional. Usually when I go out to eat I look around. This place was clean and spotless. Tables cleaned and ready to go. I noticed behind the counter as well. No change- spotless and clean. They kept everything clean and that really gave me some peace of mind for sure. My Sandwich was extremely huge just like I ordered it and it was delicious. Perfectly made. In fact everything ordered for the rest of our party of 4 was made perfect and devoured on the spot. Next time I go back I'm going to try something new because I I know everything on the menu is excellent. On a side note- our Church catered them for a youth event and every meal came in a box with a side item. Everyone was beyond happy and full afterwards to say the least. We have been going to this location for years and they've had their good and bad. ‍ BUT TONIGHT THEY LOST MY BUSINESS! *you shouldn't yell in CAPs* psh-ah! So why TF are the employees already bleaching the counters at 850pm?! I get it....showing up to a business right before they close.
