The chicken itself was thick, juicy, and very tender... not dry, not greasy, just done right. The way you expect it to be. The ribs were equally satisfying. They were very tender, tho not quite falling off the bone, but close enough to show proper cooking, they had a rich, smoky sauce that had real depth of flavor glazed over them. The fries were the only minor miss; they could have been crispier and benefited from a touch more salt, but they didn't detract from the overall meal. All told, this was a great experience and exactly the kind of quality local spot worth adding to the regular rotation. The menu is extensive, and there are several other items I'm eager to try.
