Stopped by for a sandwich while shopping in the area. This is my first time eating at this restaurant and I went in without reading any reviews, so I could have an open mind. I ordered the regular size "Grinder" and a large soft drink. This is one of those places where you do everything but actually make the sandwich. You enter your order on a kiosk, pay for it with a card, and you get handed your soft drink cup, which you fill yourself. The photos on the menu looked awesome. I know that those photos are never the reality when you get your food, but I had high hopes, since the lobby was clean and property cared for. The sandwich came out, and.....it was literally the size of a hot dog. A $8 hot dog at that. It tasted good, but for $8 ( actually $7.5 and change) I'd expect a sandwich, you know, one that was bigger than an appetizer. I know that things are expensive nowadays, but come on! I go to Bashas supermarket and get a olmade to order deli sandwich for $6 and I have enough for two lunches. I won't say to skip this.place, but don't expect much for the price. I wouldn't go if you were hungry and had to get back to work at a place you can't leave to get something else because.you get hungry. The absolute best visit to a sandwich shop in a long time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a welcome in accompanied with a smile. The tables were clean and the fountain drink area clean as well. Music in the background, not too loud and I was still able to catch up on work emails.. Two grinders, Fries, and a drink for dine in, and a Cali Club to go. The two ladies working were fast but all of our food was treated with care. Nothing sloppy, meat to bun to condiments perfect ratio. Fries were fresh which was nice. Definitely recommend. I got a 10.5 inch and ate half. Hours later finished the other half. They were polite, focused and got through the rush when we were in there like it was nothing. I have never had a customer service experience like I had today. I placed an order for $50 worth of sandwiches for pick up. I called to verify they were ready and nobody picked up. I was worried because it was a holiday and the guy who verified their hours the day before hadn't seemed certain so I called a couple more times. On the fourth try, a young woman answers the phone and without even saying hello says "You've called four times and this better be an emergency." Excuse me? I'm calling because I was worried I'd get to the restaurant and you'd be closed. I'm a customer calling during regular business hours at a place I've already spent my hard earned money at. Words were had with this appalling excuse for a customer service rep who only doubled down and honestly shouldn't have a job after the way she spoke to me, like I was subhuman trash and an inconvenience rather than someone who bought several overpriced sandwiches that pay her paycheck. Very glad we did as now we have another sandwich place to go to. We both got the regular size Wicked sandwich, lots of flavor and just loaded with meats and cheeses and some bunny food thrown in for good measure. Even the regular sized is big being 7 inches long. We got fries with it cause who doesn't like a good fry. These are crinkle cut which is my all time favorite kind and these were simply amazing, hot with a crispy outside and soft inside. Well done, Which Wich!! We ordered 90 box combos through EZ Cater and they nailed the order!! There were several dietary restrictions that requires specific notes and not only was it all perfect, it was so tasty!! Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches (loves that the mayo and mustard came on the side) with chips and a cookie. I'm sorry, but where has this been all my life?! I took my two kids here today for lunch and it was great! I'd never been here before, but had wanted to try it when we lived in Phoenix. I never got the chance until today, years later. Even my kids who are young were raving about it. I did a BYO turkey sandwich and my kids each got kids meals (a PB&J and a grilled cheese). The price is more than fair considering I recently took the two of them to Subway and it was $34 for two footlongs and a kid's meal. Our trip today was $29 and we got better food and more of it! When the food was done, the employee had placed two coins, one for each child, with our food. We figured out it was for the candy machine that had M&Ms in it. This was a nice touch, my kids loved it! My food was really good too and everything was made fast! There was only one employee working that I could see, but she was churning out orders quickly. I ordered a Rueben, it was $8.25 and that didn't include anything else. No chips, no drink, which would be fine if the sandwich was worthwhile but honestly it was not good, at all. The sandwich was cold, how does a Rueben that is made right in front of you come out cold with the cheese not melted at all? The bread tasted like it was from a loaf you can buy for a couple bucks at Frys. The Thousand Island mixture was very runny. There was Nothing superior or gourmet about this sandwich. Its something I could have whipped up with the odds and ends in my own kitchen. Culver's actually has a better Reuben for less $. All the tables were dirty, I had to clean my own off, and it wasn't very busy. I will say the employees were very friendly. We were greeted by a young staffer who came out from behind the counter to explain how to order. You can spend a lot of time building your own sandwich; they have so many options. It seemed like their favorites menu was the way to go. My fiance ordered a super meatball grinder, and I got the large brunchwich. I felt like a regular size wouldn't be quite enough, but it was, and I saved the other half for later. Our food was made fresh and it was hot. I tried my fiance's meatball grinder, and it was tasty, but I loved my sandwich even more. It seems like a lot of weird items together (gyro meat, American cheese, egg), but the flavors together were delicious. I thought my sandwich was excellent, and the bread itself was good too. It was pretty pricey though, without the coupon, it was almost $30 for two sandwiches, no chips or drinks. Granted, they were large sandwiches, and we both only ate half. He absolutely loved his sub and said he would definitely order it again. My family's favorite place to grab a sandwich. It's fun to grab a bag and pick all your favorite toppings. If you're vegetarian, there are plenty of choices - the avocado is my wife's favorite. I've liked the vast majority of sandwiches I've tried and only a couple should be avoided. If you're doing the low carb thing, ask for your favorite sandwich to be made as a salad bowl or get a kids meal with the meat and cheese roll ups. The staff are friendly and so helpful. Sign up for the rewards program - it's free and saves you money. They have an app for you to order ahead or use Doordash to have it delivered if you can't bear the thought of putting on pants. Not going to lie I always order the same thing, but only because its always a consistently good place. It of course is still a sandwich which you can make at home for a cheaper alternative. When I checked out the menu I saw they had a Vietnamese bánh mì sandwich which I haven't had in years. I stopped by after work, bought one, drove home and dove in. I ordered the Cobb Salad Salad (redundant I know, but necessary to distinguish between the Cobb Salad Wrap). There was a choice between lettuce or spinach. I opted for spinach and received a great Cobb Salad that hardly needed salad dressing due to the creamy avocado included. It was delicious and filling. My husband had the BLT and the decadent Oreo milkshake. A previous reviewer put us on to the shake and he wasn't wrong. You order it, you won't be unhappy.
