This place is terrible is Owner is a horrible person. He treats his employees like trash. He pays 14.70 an hour not even minimum wage. I've tried to cash in my check and it turns out he owes banks money. He treats his customers terrible, not to mention the food is gross. Ive worked there for 3 months and this Charleys hides its health and food concerns to the public and to the health inspectors. He also fired me because the "system" as he said and didn't even want to give me my last check he owes me money and he even gave me a smirk and said "Go get your lawyer". We patronize the location inside of the Marana, AZ Walmart, and have never been disappointed. The cheesesteaks there are very tasty, and the other sandwiches are very good as well. Like any cheesesteak sandwich from anywhere, they are better eaten fresh on site than taken home and eaten after they've cooled off. Good value for the money, and we'll be back. I am a former worker of this horrid excuse of a restaurant and I suggest you keep your money in your pockets because these people treat their workers like dirt. I couldn't believe my experience in a place where they present so well and appear to be a great environment. I was SO wrong and it makes me angry now telling the tale of how wrong they did me. I am a hard worker, matter of fact I took a two hour bus ride there and back everyday just to work and the last weeks I was employed here I became very sick with this flu going around. He not only had me come in but had me work a full day just to see how sick I was. "He" being the boss I worked for then gave me a day off because he saw he had been wrong. After this act of kindness or so I thought he had his team watch me crash and burn on the line. After only being there for a few weeks I asked simple little details I had forgotten but the "team" that worked with me just looked at me in silence. It felt more like a clique then a crew. To top it all off I had a shift at 2 pm and the day of that shift he apparently made another schedule that said I went in at 11AM and said I'm late at 11:30. He fired me being a no call, no show and also said I forfeited my last paycheck and I would get none of my wages because I was fired. If you want to work here don't even waste your valuable time, these people are jokes and it shows. I would give less than 1 star if there was an option. read more

I usually love charley's, but this time ruined it. I went on father's day to the tucson mall location, and the cashier basically called me stupid and made me feel dumb for thinking a deal that says with ANY purchase is only for fathers. I showed him the deal, and he laughed and said I had no kid so it doesn't work for me, even when it says nothing about that on the deal. He belittled me and I finally just got my sandwich because he was being a very big pain and very rude. I love the food, but i hated the experience at this location this time. read more

So d*mn good!! The chicken cheesesteak is FIRE, fries are good, and lemonade is good. They don't have a veggie cheesesteak on the menu but it's no problem for them to get one made up. It's fire too. My only suggestion would be to provide larger cups for ketchup and hot sauce. It's inconvenient to make several trips back and forth for the condiments if people have kids or if you're in a largeish group. Best thing in the park place mall food court imo. My 4yr old gobbled down her little ranch sammich (no ranch though, but it didn't seem to be a problem). She asked me for the cheesy sammich in the mall a couple days later lol. Tucson Mall location. Hi. This is possibly the worst food and worst cheesesteak I have ever had. The whole meal was cold, the bun was slop, the fries were totally limp. Couldn't even tell what the meat would have tasted like. The Coke was basically water. Apparently it was made 2 hours ahead of my GrubHub late delivery. It is the restaurant RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that their product is yummy and fresh when it arrives to the diner at table or home. I decided to go here today for lunch when I was at Tucson Mall. Big, big mistake. First off the food was really, and I mean really expensive. Just the Original Combo( regular drink and fries is $3.99). Judging by the size you get, you'd think it was small. The food wasn't really that good for the overall price (total cost was $19.32). And to make matters more worse, nothing is given to you on a tray. I had to carry the sandwich and fries to the table, my drink almost got thrown away by the employee handing out samples because I had to leave it on the counter. I then had to go back to get some ketchup for the fries, hoping nothing was going to be thrown away. Overall, a really really bad experience. I'll never do that again. read more

We ran across this chain when we were visiting an Air Force base. It was love at first bite. Not to mention it was something the whole family liked which is rare. I really love a grilled sub and Charlie's delivers. No little warming ovens or microwaves here. A little pricey for a sandwich if you are feeding a whole family but it's yummy for sure and beats Subway and the like hands down. Plus their ultimate fries are so good. this place is so freaking good!! i'm not really a meat person and i'm very picky about meat when i eat it and this place did not disappoint. the meat is so soft and tender and the bread is so fluffy. the only thing is the sizing. i'm pretty small so a small sandwich normally fills me but for anyone else i know a small would not fill them up. it's small for the price but totally worth it cause it's so delicious read more
