Whim Wine Bar

Such a beautiful wine bar! There has been a lot of thought and care in put in to building this wine bar. My friend and I were oohing and ahhing over the amazing decor and snapping pics. There is an eclectic and extensive wine list that will satisfy all wine lovers: white, red, rosé, and bubbles! Need wine to take home? They have a nice selection to purchase from. My friend and I shared a meat and cheese board with warm bread-the fig jam was to die for. This is a great central place to meet friends for drinks and apps or going solo with a book and a glass of wine by candlelight, complete on a pink couch. Cheers!

I love that this place is a fresh new, classy, vibrant and PINK establishment. Seriously - their sign said Come Pig Out On Pizza and Wine and I knew I found my soul sister wine bar. The place is BEAUTIFUL. It is upscale and elite and different shades of pink and purple with amazing decor and really makes you feel like your pinky needs to be straight up to fit in. I loved it. The wine selection amazing and they have all the options, I tried the sparkling rose and you know - pink bubbles just speaks to me. I haven't tried the pizza but I sure should. I will absolutely be back!

dry red, & whites (forgot their names) this was a flight

i am just now getting acclimated to wine culture! i have always been interested in exploring the wine world but wasn't sure where to start. i know for a fact that i love & favor dry wines over sweeter/bubbly wines. i came here on a saturday night with friends & wanted to further explore what wines were compatible with my palate. i ordered a flight ($18) & i chose a dry red wine & two dry white wines. fabulous experience!! the waitress was SO HELPFUL & randomly chose 3 dry wines for me, which i LOVED! service was great & the ambience was somber n romantic. would definitely recommend coming here for a date night or if you just want to try different wines. they also have food options but their kitchen closes at 9. this is located in the downtown spokane mall so you have to park in the garage & take the elevator up!

Chill vibes, a pint of Finnriver Black Currant Cider (on draft)...and only a fraction of their bottle selection in the background.

Best place to chill and have a superb glass of wine or cider in Spokane. Great atmosphere, great service, great selection, and knowledgeable staff!!! And the Spokanite Pizza...

Visting Spokane over the holiday weekend and discovered this incredable hidden jem in the mall of all places!!! We stopped in for a quick glass to cool down from the wicked heat and we're blown away, the wine selection was fantastic, personal description of each wine on the menu will make you giggle and the ambience was spectacular. We would definitely recommend giving it a try!!!

The lovely owners!

Super fun hideout in the RiverPark Square ... come see these two young go-getters at their fabulous bar! Such a great afternoon of sparking and beer with cheese and charcuterie... we will be back

Kenney's cheesy bread with red dipping sauce

Last night we tried a new menu item: Kenney's cheesy bread. Get some! It is so good... also, current Malbec and Carmenere on pour list are delicious. Exactly what we were looking for.

My wife and I stopped in at this very new establishment this afternoon after a movie at the Riverfront mall. We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff person, helped into our seats, and menus furnished. My wife ordered a glass of chardonnay and I had a flight, three, three-ounce pours of wines I selected; they wines were served quickly, and we started enjoying. We also ordered a pizza, The Frasier, mozzarella, prosciutto, fig, chèvre, honey. The pizza is on very thin crust, it was lightly chared on some of the curst and toppings, all the ingredients were fresh and the whole thing was very tasty. We ordered the Baby Luna as a dessert, Nutella baked inside a thin crust, raspberries on the side, sprinkled with powder sugar; this was very yummy. One do-better from my wife, the wine menu only had one chardonnay on it, and that wine was processed in stainless steely only with no added oak; where many wine drinkers like chardonnay that has been aged in oak barrels, you should have that option on the menu. Overall, we were very pleased; you should get in here and give it a try.

Live music with wine and bubbly for the grand opening.

We had planned to stop at Tomato Street for a quick drink before our movie but the sounds and ambiance drew us in like moths to a flame. We were greeted quickly with a friendly smile and conversation. Our drinks arrived promptly and we had some very comfortable seating to sip our bubbly. They have a wide selection of wines, champagnes and a few beers. I can see myself coming here for a girl's night or after a fun shopping spree downtown. Can't wait to try the food during our next go-around.

Comfy seating!

Quiet, and kind of hidden despite the fact it's in the middle of Ruverpark Square. Service was excellent, cheesy bread delicious.

I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Her warmth was genuine, her recommendations were spot-on, and she had an incredible ability to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Lily checked in at just the right moments -- never intrusive, never absent. She remembered details from earlier in the conversation, kept the energy upbeat, and handled a small mix-up with our order with total grace and a smile. That kind of poise is rare. If you're lucky enough to be seated in Lily's section, you're in for a treat. She's the kind of server who turns a good meal into a genuinely memorable experience. We'll absolutely be back, and we'll be asking for her by name!

We had a group of eight and there was a lot of "not ready yet" which the staff handled with ease. Food came out quickly but mostly all at the same time. We had a few items that came out later but it was reasonable and expected. Ambiance is very nice, simple but elegant. You would feel comfortable coming in dressed up or casual. Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. All in all you should stop in for dinner and you won't be disappointed!

Most recently, on a Friday evening around 7 PM, my party was seated near the end of the bar by the restroom area. A server approached me in a confrontational manner and told me to move my chair because it was blocking the walkway. I immediately complied and moved it where he directed. Despite that, he repeatedly pushed and squeezed past the chair in an aggressive way several times afterward and then returned to confront me about it again. The interaction felt hostile, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. On a previous visit, a female server was rude and controlling toward our table, and on another occasion when we were unhappy with a menu item, the response was essentially, "You ordered it, you pay for it," with no attempt to address the concern professionally. The atmosphere is great, which is why we've continued to come back. However, after several visits involving rude and confrontational interactions with staff, it feels more like an ongoing culture issue than a one-time bad experience. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and respect. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the customer experience.
