Oh heck yes!!! This restaurant is SO SO SO GOOD!!! Like yes please I will have that tonight and tomorrow and the next night! One of my extremely generous friends took me here and we had a feast! Started with the focaccia and then had a meatball each and the pesto pasta. I loved this pasta!! Super flavorful and it had burrata in it! Yes!! The take home winner was the new matcha cake dessert. So so so many layers of heaven. Loved it!

Warm light, rich flavors, cozy bites. Sorella knows exactly how to spoil you. Sorella 1122 W Summit Pkwy, Spokane, WA What We Ordered at Sorella: * Verde Salad sweet pears, tangy goat cheese, toasted almonds * Verdure roasted asparagus + broccolini, blistered tomatoes, balsamic dijon, pepitas. * Ricotta & Focaccia whipped ricotta clouds with maple, pecans, cranberry... dessert energy in disguise. * Dante's Meatballs huge, tender, classic, bathing in bright tomato sauce. * Dungeness Crab Risotto creamy, rich, saffron-kissed comfort with sweet crab on top. * Alla Vodka pillowy canestri pasta in a silky pink sauce // my favorite. I ordered it every time. * Matilda's Cake smaller than expected, but the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Still for $12 smaller than I thought it would be

Sorella in Spokane Washington was an unexpected treat. It's a high quality Italian restaurant outside downtown that looks unassuming but speaks loudly when you enter to find a unique design anchored with crazy melted wax candles everywhere. It sets quite mood that turned out to be a great evening. We ate at the bar and the bartenders were lovely. They were as good at their craft as they are making you feel at home. The food was great but the cocktails even better. My first cocktail was An Italian in Paris (photo #4). It was a delicious gin recipe coupled with two different aperitifs and Green Chartreuse. It was deliciously complex. My second was Riot Act which is a spin on the classic Black Manhattan (photo #2). If a cocktail could be angry and fun at the same time it would be this recipe. The balance of rye, Cynar, Benedictine and Averna was bonkers. They threw in a little Demerara syrup for balance and it was fabulous. I will be recreating both of these at home because they were that good. We capped off our memorable evening with a little limoncello. Why not . It was random that I visited Spokane for the second time in my life, but I'm glad I randomly visited this gem. If you ever find yourself in Eastern Washington go see the fine folks at Sorella. Delicious and filling Italian dishes with romantic interior and kind staff. Ordered a sweet limoncello spritz and enjoyed the orange bitters gin/vodka martini. Dante's meatball were juicy with a bright red sauce. Loved the classic alla vodka pasta - saucy soft noodles + garlic forward. The veal was also very tender and bucatini was soft and buttery. Food came out a little slowly but it was a busy Friday night - thank goodness we made reservations!

Having been to Sorella a handful of times since my last review, it felt right to share an updated review and confirm that everything a year ago is still true. Their menu has evolved and as of recently, they brought the branzino back (thank you!) - but we still haven't had a dish we didn't like (and we've tried most!). Our go to order when we're bringing guests or having a splurge meal with friends is: the ricotta and meatballs to start (apps), the lemon and vodka pastas (be aware, the vodka pasta has heat!) or swap the risotto, and then the branzino and one of their parm dishes depending on how many are eating. Make sure to save room for an affogato at dessert! Hats off also to the wait staff and management team for making such a cozy but elevated spot - we've never had a bad experience at Sorerlla.

Inside of the restaurant was elegant! Would say that my pasta why slightly undercooked and chicken was far too salty. Overall good meal and experience but I fear for the price the pasta should be better.

My (now) fiancé took me here to celebrate our anniversary and our engagement yesterday!! We loved the vibe of the restaurant with the beautiful gold frames, the perfect lighting, and the green/teal color wash! Everyone was so kind and so excited for us and the chef welcomed/congratulated us and treated us to some of the most delicious food I've ever had!!! They also brought us a glass of champagne to celebrate! It was a perfect way to end the perfect day!!! We agreed that every year this place is where we will be celebrating our anniversary

We came to Sorella for my wife's birthday after hearing great things and it definitely lives up to the hype. The vibe makes you feel like you're not even in Spokane and the staff is awesome. You can tell they love what they do. The food was full of flavor and our server Sarah went out of her way to make my wife feel celebrated and helped me pull off a surprise gift. We ordered the prawns appetizer and it was incredible and way more filling than expected since the prawns are huge. The crab orzo with grilled chicken was solid too. We'll be back to try more. Highly recommend.

Parking is street parking only, and it gets tight once the restaurant gets busy. The atmosphere started out quiet but quickly turned lively as the night went on. The space feels clean, cozy, and homey, a good mix of casual and upscale without feeling stuffy. Service was excellent. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, professional, and perfectly timed, attentive without hovering or rushing us. For food, I ordered the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno, ham, and parmesan, also had the butternut squash agnolotti with sage butter. The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Overall, it was a good meal with warm service and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back, but next time I would explore another item on the menu.

What I Ordered at Italia Trattoria: * Focaccia Bread with olive oil & balsamic * Charred Octopus Salad - citrus, fennel, herbs (would 100% order again) * Panzanella Salad - heirloom tomatoes, focaccia croutons, shaved parmesan * Gnocchi alla Sorrentina - tender potato gnocchi in rich tomato sauce * Spaghetti & Meatballs - classic comfort done right * Grilled Lamb Tongue - with tzatziki, heirloom tomato, and olives * Tiramisu - whipped, airy, chocolate-dusted perfection. * La Jolie Fleur Rosé (2022) - light, elegant, and summery * Lucien Albrecht Crémant Rosé - crisp, floral, and beautifully chilled Their menu is a gem for adventurous food lovers -- think boar, lamb tongue, and octopus done right. Unexpected cuts, unforgettable flavor.

I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. Our waitress was great. Friendly, patient, and willing to roll with my nonsense... which is saying something. I had a free birthday entrée (buy one, get one free), promptly ordered something that wasn't on the birthday menu, realized my mistake, and pivoted back to my usual Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter. Zero regrets. It's my go-to and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Hearty Meal, which apparently translates to "Sir, here is a mountain of pasta." I barely finished it. I absolutely should not have finished it. I finished it anyway... because I am fat and that is how I roll. My wife ordered the Chicken Marsala. Her official review: "The chicken was OK." However... she loved the Mizithra pasta (a lot). She also enjoyed the Foundry Punch enough to have two, which is always a good sign. Between the two of us, we demolished about a loaf and a half of bread like it was our job. Dessert was spumoni ice cream. My wife had a little. I had mine... and then the rest of hers. Teamwork. The atmosphere was great. It was quiet, they had the playoff game on, so I got dinner and sports... win-win. Prices and value were exactly what you expect from OSF... no surprise fees, no menu gymnastics. They got very busy shortly after we arrived. When we sat down, it was us and one other couple in the bar. By the time we left, every table was full. Nothing wild happened, nothing bad happened... just a good, solid visit. Will we be back? Yep.
