Straight up, we had a blast at Rosie's. Natasha was our server and we laughed until times got better! It was her genuine greeting and warm smile that opened the door to releasing any walls that were up. It was like she was a distant cousin I hadn't seen in a while. She gave us the rundown on a few questions we had about the menu and some ideas on how to put together the palate of items we were tasting for. Naturally, we started off with a cocktail while we waited for our breakfast at 230pm. Judge someone else. It was a peachy array of flavors with Jamison as the liquor base. I'm all about dark liquor if I'm going to have a sip and she recommended it so I knew it'd be good. My buddy ordered an espresso martini but subbed tequila instead of the vodka. He said it was delightful but I'm taking his word. On to the food... My buddy ordered the chicken and waffle plate and it comes with 3 whole wings. They are crispy, well-seasoned, and juicy. I can't stand an over cooked protein. The waffle was done nicely with a little heft as well. He got the Belgian style but they have specialty options with flavors such as red velvet and others. I was a little more greedy and got the specialty pancakes -banana nut- combo breakfast with sausage, eggs, and grits. However, I really wanted this chicken I had heard so much about so I got that too. Again, please go judge someone else. I enjoyed my food with no regrets in sight. The only real critiques we had were that the speed of the bar drinks could tighten up. It wasn't busy but took a while. Also, the hostess while very friendly, also rigid in the all being present to be seated. We watched my friend back his truck into the space and walk in before we could be assigned a table. But hey rules are rules it was just too hot to stand outside and wait for him to park that truck. We and some friends were trying to find some drinks before we went to get some food but we happened to stop at Rosie's and we stayed for both. It's a small spot but it's still plenty big. When you come, parking is available but it's valet parking only, I believe. It's a very small lot so it's not a lot of choices. Just keep that in mind. You can probably find street parking or parking somewhere else because of the area that it's in but that's at your own behest. I came in and sat at the bar and had some drinks and had some food. Brittany was the bar tender back there and took really good care of us. She was super cool, very bright, and fun and I would definitely support her customer service. She made it pretty dope to sit at the bar. The food was okay overall especially because we weren't going to get food but the menu looked so good that we had to do it. We were at the bar for probably a couple of hours so we had time to try quite a few things. Fried chicken - the fried chicken was really good. We ordered some whole wings. You can get them by the twos so you don't have to get a full order. It was a good choice and they were hot and fresh and very very well seasoned that day. Fries - the French fries were OK, nothing to write home about LOL. Shrimp - so you can get an order of a three-piece shrimp. I got it just because but the shrimp was actually really good. It was grilled shrimp and it was seasoned super well. Chicken sandwich - the chicken sandwich was okay. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon on it and it was all right. It really wasn't seasoned as well as it could've been though. It was still good and hearty besides that. The bacon that they put on there was a lot, which was a good thing. I wish that they had seasoned the chicken like they seasoned the grilled shrimp and that would've been over the top but it was pretty good. If you can get past the parking situation, then this would not be a bad spot to check out. Honestly I would probably go back just to have a little more of the chicken. read more

Honesty I didn't take a picture because I got distracted when the pipping hot food came out. The hospitality is out of this world. As soon as you walk in the smell alone lets you know you're at the right place. I had the fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, red velvet pancakes, chicken and waffles. Nestled right next to Mercedes Benz stadium, its a nice breakfast spot. The most unique thing about this place is the cups they use for coffee. They are are kind of like Moscow mule cups but they keep the coffee hot! I got the breakfast platter. Every thing was made well. The eggs were good, the biscuits were soft and warm, the potatoes were well matched with the seasoning and small bell peppers. The avacodo toast was good too. Went here for a quick little breakfast with a friend. The place is clean, everyone is nice. Service can be a little slow but overall I had a good experience. Food was cooked hot and fresh. If you're gonna go to Rosie's, you should know that there's a very small parking lot, but there is complementary valet so don't let that deter you. The service was great. The staff were wonderful. The sweet tea was actually sweet tea. I enjoy my meal. The eggs were delicious. The chicken wings were fried just right. The only thing I can say I did not like was the pancakes were extremely dry no butter on them or nothing and I would not ever order those again. The other thing is there's a waffle and wings meal, but there is no pancake and wings meal so if that's what you want you have to à la car together and I just think that's crazy. Visited Rosie's on a peak brunch Sunday as I was heading out of Atlanta. Here are some of my thoughts: Environment It's a cozy busy spot especially for brunch with cool art and tvs around the space. It's very small and very popular with very little parking so they do have a valet service. Please make a reservation. That may be the only way you'll get to eat here. It had good energy with plenty of people enjoying themselves and their meals. Service The service was fine. Again they were busy so it was also a little bit slow at times and it somewhat felt like they were trying to rush us at times. So nothing to ride home about - overall it was okay. Food and Drinks My whole table had the chicken and waffles. lol I wish we would have switched it up to get a better idea of what they had to offer but I guess that was the mood we were in. The chicken was pretty good. Maybe could've been seasoned a little bit more but overall fine. I also had a side of cheese grits and eggs. The eggs were good and the grits were okay. Nothing incredible but not bad at all. I would come back to try other items on the menu just to have a better feel of the options. Overall Overall my experience here was just okay. Visited Rosie's on a Tuesday afternoon. It was lightly busy, however I was seated right away. The ambiance of the restaurant was light, welcoming and easy-going. The servers all seemed to genuinely enjoy working there and were attentive and personable. I ordered the specialty pancake platter with veggie sausage , potatoes and plain pancakes. The home style potatoes were delicious. Nice and crispy but soft and fluffy on the inside. The pancakes were decently large and buttery. For drinks I orders the Panda Chai Tea which was warm and silky with the class chai flavor. I also ordered the Milky Way latte which was beautiful and delicious! Ordered through Uber's eat food was OK. I ordered breakfast salmon patties grits. My eggs were very cold and not as I ordered. The patties could have been seasoned a little more. The worst thing was there was no butter for the toast or grits and no utensils to eat it with a bit disappointed. I will try them one more time to see if they get it right. read more

Went hear for breakfast, when we arrived it wasn't that busy. It took over an hour to get our food and when it came out the egg whites were still raw. Although parking lot is extremely small, there is complimentary valet. Friendly service. Laid back atmosphere. We went on a Friday morning and seating was quick (no line). There were only a few other patrons. That being said there was quite a bit of a wait for the food however. The cheese for the 'cheese grits' was not incorporated in the grits; just sprinkled on top. so it didn't mix well. The veggie sausage were hard (over cooked). The shrimp and grits were ok but tasted like the shrimp was frozen. French toast and coffee was delicious. They charge an automatic 20% gratuiuty regardless of party size...something to keep in mind for the people that either don't usual tip that much or tip above. read more

The food is good, the coffee in the metal mugs is excellent, and the place is clean with friendly staff. However, I reserved a table for 15 a few days prior and they weren't really prepared for us. It took a while to get our table and another significant block of time to get our food. Probably ~ 30 minutes before the staff took our order. Some of the group had to leave because they only had an hour, so they didn't order breakfast and only had 1 cup of coffee. There was nothing impressive about my experience but then again it wasn't terrible. I did not appreciate the 20% automatic gratuity being added for a party of 2. It's demeaning because it implies that I might not have otherwise tipped. I always tip very generously but in this case, I left what they wanted. The food was not memorable. 2330 S. Ivan Rd location. (Sunday 5/24/26). Melody was our server. My meal came to $15.99, there was a $3.20 "service fee" added along with the tax and it brought my total to $20.39. Melody said my total was $24.39. I gave her $25 and $5.00 for tip. When I looked at my receipt, the bill was actually $20.39 total. We came back into the cafe' for clarification. I spoke to Melody in a hushed tone because I didn't want the many patrons to overhear our conversation. She said the EXTRA $3.20 is for the other workers at the cafe' and the $5.00 tip was for her. I then asked about my change from the $25 I gave her on a $20 meal.? She said my total is actually $25 and she didn't owe me change. I showed her the receipt and she said (loudly) "Do you need your $5.00 back? "Cause I can give you your $5 back!" I, again spoke softly because I am a professional and said the $5 is NOT the point, I came back for an understanding little sis, so I guess I will have to just do a Google review since understanding isn't your trajectory. Bottom line, I paid $30.39 for a $20.39 check topped with attitude as a to go topper. I have a CHOICE of businesses to support and when I "happended" upon this cafe after church, I said "Why not? Bartender was awesome! The only reason I gave 2 stars. Restaurant was pretty much empty. My food was cold!!! Literally everything cold. I asked for cheese eggs no cheese. I visited here during my time in Atlanta, it was good but it is not on my list to have visit again. The decor in the restaurant was nicely done, comfortable. The challenge for me was the service, my expectations were high since I visited ATL Breakfast Club the day before. I came in, 2 people were at the receptionist area, it took them a minute or 2 to acknowledge me and then there was some minor back and forth on what table to seat me at. I got seated and then sat there for what seemed liked 10 minutes until I got the attention of someone and asked for coffee and water. While I waited for that I then got the attention of one of the people that sat me and asked who my server was, he apologized and said it was him, there was some confusion on who my server should be. The table next to me said they experienced the same thing. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, eggs with salmon. These were the BEST blueberry pancakes I ever had, outstanding. The coffee was good, I liked that they had flavored coffee creamer options. Thr highlights for my visit to the restaurant is thr decor and blueberry pancakes, the needs improvement is thr staff.....visiting this place after ATL Breakfast Club set the bar high and Rose doesn't compare.
