My first impression was that I was walking in one of the Magical Hallmark movies and I found this shop. I explored every inch in the shop since I am fond of unique kitchen supplies, gadgets and utensils. I found them all in this shop.. They have lovely and stunning ornaments too. The shop was very organized.The staff were so sweet, welcoming and friendly. I wish I could spend longer time there. The Hen's Kitchen Shoppe is a hidden gem in Clairmont .I will be back very soon.

After breakfast, I walked on over & it is exactly what I pictured it AND MORE! Cute, darling kitchen items, gadgets (some I would not even know what to do with) and cooking paraphernalia abound! I couldn't stop staring & just wonder in complete awe. Wow! I barely had time to process & check everything out do the photos posted are just cursory pictures, for now. Must stop by another day when Hubby is not in a hurry or take one of my girlfriends to explore this shop & all of what Claremont has to offer. The 2 bakeries are outstanding but my favorite is Some Crust Bakery. Although Creme bakery is very charming to experience also. I set aside the day to walk the streets to enjoy the old homes along the perimeter of this village. Take note that many movies have used this very location for filming. A few minutes later she walked out, locked the store and started yelling at the man to get away from her shop or she's calling the cops and saying she didn't want to hear his noise. Identified herself as the store owner. Very rude and miserable old lady. I was shocked. So many people had walked by, expressed enjoying his music and even tipping. She was clearly just bitter and in a bad mood, but the village is full of local artist. People enjoy that here. Being an "art studio" I would expect more from someone who owns one but is attacking an unprovoked artist doing what they love. Definitely not a good look for a business owner especially in the village.

Very displeased with our experience my friend and I called twice both times being told they still…read morehad "room" for our stuff. We drove around 20 minutes to be there to drop off our bags. My friend and I lugged around 6 bags of clothes in hopes of dropping it off. We then entered the building and saw three female employees sorting items and asked where to drop off our stuff and all 3 of them responded with attitudes and acted oblivious as if we didn't just talk to one of them and they told us that 3 people already dropped off and filled their slots after just calling 15 minutes ago which is highly unbelievable. Horrible experience no accountability. Businesses should be more respectful and mindful of the gas and time people take to travel to drop things off, unbelievable.
