Her and the staff also worked with us to include important traditions to our reception, which made the day that much more special. If we had an idea, we were able to talk it out and get advice from Tracey and the staff, as opposed to more restrictive or closed off venues. We felt so taken care of and I would 10/10 recommend this venue if you are looking to get married.

This event happened about three years ago but I thought I would share my experience. I have quite a…read morebit of experience riding horses, but I hadn't ridden in a while so I decided to go there for a lesson. At the beginning of the lesson the horse they gave me to ride was taken to the round pen to exercise out some of his energy, which I thought was kind of odd. Then I was told to get on the horse. As soon as I swung my leg over the saddle to mount the horse, he started bucking. I ended up behind the saddle sitting on the horse's rump struggling to stay seated but then finally went flying off. I was really surprised that I was given a horse like that because this was the first time I had ever been there. I tried to get on again and the horse tried to buck again. Someone grabbed his head and I was finally able to get on the horse. After that he was fine but I had some massive bruises the next day. I think Green Acres needs to have better trained horses.

Started with a short presentation about the facility and alpacas, then on to the visits. We had a blast getting to feed them and petting them occasionally. We also got to spend some time getting a lesson on the process of spinning alpacas fur from Nancy. Such a great job showing us how it is done. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations.
