Got a basic wash for $10 . The card reader was tricky and I saw the guy in front of me struggle with it for 5 mins before he got it work. I ended up using Apple Pay to avoid the hassle. The attendant was very thorough spraying down the front of the car and windows. The wash brushes are clean and does a great job. What I like best is the different house assemblies for cleaning your car and that they have towels to do a final wipe down. They also have window cleaner and interior cleaner so you can detail your interior as well. Very clean and well stocked. read more

I switched from Gate car wash to Whistle Stop on University Blvd. last year. I was pleased at first, but lately the quality of the wash has gone down. The suds dispensers are often clogged. Soap is not completely rinsed leaving a residue. The blowers aren't aligned properly leaving a lot of water as exiting. I've talked with the attendants about these issues but none are resolved. read more

Merrill Road, 32225: Whistle Express Carwash is an official rip off. I spent 32.50 and the Ceramic Shield didn't work, I got just a basic wash. The rainx section did not work despite there being rainx ads posted outside. My car exterior was literally still dirty in multiple areas with dust and basic road grime. And - No tire/wheel cleaning was done either. Then, I had to move three times to find a vacuum that worked. The compressed air did not work on any of the stations. What a scam! I went into the office and was told "sorry, we will try to get all of those things fixed". Oh... And they allowed two vehicles to collide in the tunnel while I was there. When it was Camel, none of these issues ever happened. I will not support this business at any location. read more

Quality has deteriorated at the Ft Caroline car wash since Camel Car Wash changed to Whistle Express. I have been a monthly subscriber since the car wash opened. You can visibly tell that maintenance of the equipment has gone down. Vacuum cleaners are sometimes not operating strong enough to properly vacuum carpet, the tire shine applicator does not apply the tire dressing, and today the air compressor that feeds the air guns were still not working. I was there three weeks ago and they were not working then. Monthly subscription fees continue to increase though. With the number of car washes in the area now I will be reconsidering in continuing my subscription. I will give then one more try! read more

Very nice car wash! I usually don't care much about car washes but this place had everything you would absolutely need for car washing. Unlike any other car wash place this one is amazing! Located off Merrill Road, the car wash gives your u the 20 dollar express for first time users. You get buffing, degreasers, detailing vacuums to blow dirt off the hard to reach areas. They even have a mat washer where you can hang your car mats on the wall and wash and dry. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful workers who gave great advice on the services before entering. So far so good. Other car washes around town need to step it up because this car wash has it all and doesn't charge as much as the rest! read more

When they took over from Camel they were great. No there are never any cloths and over half of the vacuums do not work and the air guns are inoperable. We left Johnny Clean because of the poor quality of service and this location's services are equally as bad. We will drive further if needed to find a more efficient car wash. They built a new location about two miles away and do far it's not received and better reviews. It's a damn shame. Even the automatic gates for monthly subscribers don't work half of the time. This place has completely changed I pulled up to the only pay station as the other 2 were blocked off. The guy said they are having a cash special. I said I wanted the ultimate wash and don't mind paying full price on my card. He asked how much cash do I have on me I pulled out my wallet and said I have 3 dollars he said he'll take it and gave me the ultimate wash and put the cash in his pocket. While excited to get such a great deal I definitely didn't get the best wash I've had from that place when it was camel. Bunch of streaks and no tire shine. But as long as they only want a few buck cash I'll keep on coming. read more

Yeah, yeah, you probably wonder how can you improve a car wash experience but this place has. There's a self service bug washing station as you approach the gates to select your services. This is an actual station with plenty of brushes that a safe for your vehicle. My first impression was "this looks expensive" but the service and quality exceeded my expectations. Hopefully they can continue this level of excellence. The staff was pleasant and the manager David was all "on deck" hustling between staff and customers at the entrance, assisting car prep, customer satisfaction, he was present. Services included with the basic are, car prep (bugs, bird poop, etc) complimentary use of windex, dry towels, wash station for rubber mats as well as the one for cloth carpet mats. and even a nice scented airfreshner for under your seat. A member of unlimited car wash club for about 6 months. Quality of cleaning was very good. However, recent cleaning was a disaster as one overhead unit slammed into windshield causing a cracked windshield which needs replacement. Reported immediately to staff who were very concerned. As required, contacted Kevin Dutter, Owner/Mgr, who said that incidents of windshield damage is not company responsibility; offered no assistance. Just laughed it off and told me it was my problem. Great place, we go every weekend with our dog. He enjoys the colors and the effect that the foam makes on the car windows. They always give him a cookie that he eats while the boys clean the windows. His staff is friendly and always ready to help you if necessary. You just have to be careful when vacuuming the car since the suction power is so great that it can lose some buttons on the board of your car and they will not be able to help you recover it. read more

It used to be much better than it is now. 2 people would brush front grill, hood and window, and back of the vehicle. Now there is one guy with a spray hose hitting the grill, hood, window and one side before punching numbers into the programmer. However I haven't seen a reduction in monthly charge coinciding with the reduced labor cost. Good help is hard to find. read more

This used to be a great car wash (On 17/Park Ave in Orange Park, FL), but when they changed from Car Wash U to Camel Premium Express, it went down hill! They no longer scrub the bugs off the windshield or front of your car before you go in, they no longer have air fresheners and there is always a greasy, smudgey residue on all the rags which transfers to the windows. The vacuums are often broken or only has the hose with no attachment which makes it very difficult to operate. If your idea of a car wash is to have the same bugs on your car when you pull out of the car wash with the addition of greasy, distorted windows and grass/dirt still on your floor mats, this place is for you! If you think your car should come out cleaner then it went in, time to find an actual car wash! read more

Okay yal listen to me I came to this sucky ass car wash to wash my 2023 Honda civic, now when I first entered where they get you signed up personally it's so unprofessional they suck! These people gave me my receipt with a clip board and everything and never told me where to drop it off after I was done then knowing I never been there which I told them getting my car into the machine wash was even more unprofessional they told me to go then to told me to stop and back all the way up again...still having the clip board on my hand nobody on the other side to give it to. Then after the wash was done i went to vacuum shitty as vacuum they are worn out and it's just not what I expected they show that damn Lamborghini in the front to trick yal it's not worth your money and on top of that I payed for a monthly sub and not knowing the service was shitty and how my car looked after the soap is bad for your car it left it sud on my car. then I called the next day wanting to cancel and they said okay they canceled it but I just received a charge from them so they never took it off I'm very disappointed never coming here again. Do better manager and use different products to clean the cars windows and for interior it's not that difficult. read more

Just paid $30 for a car wash. Half the equipment in the car washbay doesn't work. Uneven spray applied to wheels and tires. Vehicle was not scrubbed on top and wheel/tires were not cleaned.
