Fun local place. Several half price appetizers during happy hour. Friendly staff. Live entertainment some nights of the week. Food is good.

I went to lunch today with a small group. We arrived Around 11:45. Our order was in less than 10 minutes later. At 12:35 we still did not have food. The server kept saying it was coming and that lots of people got there at the same time. When the food arrived 4 of the 6 got food. A minute or so later, the next person got her sandwich. Finally as the first 4 were almost finished with their burgers, I got my burger. I ordered no onion and medium well. Onions were on the burger and it was pink throughout. I really think if a restaurant cannot handle groups, they should say so up front to provide the option for positive feelings. As it is, none of us ever want to return and will share this experience with others. Not good judgment on their part. read more

I have been in there a few time on a Sunday for their brunch. The service isn't good at all. They act like you are bothering them being there. The food as been ok but you better not wait a refill on your coffee or tea. And they don't get in a hurry to bring you your check either..... read more

The waiter was very nice and we got our food out quick but the food was very very very bland. I mean it was very bland like I wasn't impress at all. I really had high hopes for this place. It's nice inside and has a nice bar but if they can present the food better I would come again. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We went on a Friday night, and seated ourselves outside. They allow smoking on the patio, which is a bar atmosphere, so expect it. The wait before a server came was about 10 mins even though the restaurant barely had any guests. We put in our order, a burger w/fries, shot of 4 roses bourbon, crab cakes and a shot of gentlemen's jack. Food came out hot and fast, and the burger was actually pretty good and a great size for the price. The French fries were piping hot, and made fresh. They are cut there daily. Server was good and attentive and apologized for the late start, as she didn't know we had came outside. The only negative feel I had was that a different server came out on the patio and smoked with her guests! I just didn't feel it was very professional or clean of her! This is our favorite place to eat in Conyers. The atmosphere is casual- fun, the service is exceptional and the food is yummy. They have the largest bar selection east of Atlanta...don't forget to check out the famous Scotch cabinet! read more

The Post USE to have great food, but within the last year they have started cutting corners and the food is getting smaller and smaller. THe day service is terrible and the bartender is to busy talking loudly about who she sleeps with to care about it. Went during the Conyers Fall Festival. (a time the owner should have known hundreds of people would be passing by for the ANNUAL festival.) Server blamed kitchen staff and owner for not being prepared, however, turned out it was her. Some patrons left before food was delivered. We waited 30 - 45 minutes to give order then an hour for bad food. Very, very disorganized. Sad. It used to be halfway decent. Lived in Conyers 20 years. Been here 10-20 times. This time was it. I agree with the majority of the reviewers. This place is a JOKE...a tavern in Mayberry would fare better than this. You walk in and the so called waitress/hostess appears to be bothered that she has to get UP! You sit anywhere you want--looking and walking past tables and booths with dirty dishes. You have to ASK to have your table wiped cleaned, including the seat. A HOT MESS! The food was the best part of the visit...PLEASE serve the food HOT! I'm ready to blame the slow waitress/hostess. PITIFUL...where did you find these people? Are they related to someone that owns the place? Upgrade your wait staff! You shouldn't have to ask for napkins and flatware and water and syrup (u brought me pancakes..didn't u know I needed syrup). If they improved the service, I could look past the old dusty tavern. I DID NOT leave a tip...OH! I failed to mention..the waitress who couldn't do her job felt it appropriate to walk past us to PLAY with another customers DOG! My review is based on a take-out order for wings. The restaurant advertises as "The Best in Conyers." I went to the bar one morning after a doctor's appointment - starving. I told the waitress I wanted a to-go wing order. I looked at the menu and specifically asked the waitress about the difference between regular and jumbo wings - she assured me that they would be the same. I said "great," and requested a double order. The wings were expensive ($21.39 for 12) and I even tipped her 20 %! I had to ask for a glass of water while I waited. You would think the service would have been great, but it wasn't. My husband was shocked about the price when I got home. I had gone out of my way to go there, thinking it would be worth the trip. When I opened the box we were both shocked to see the wings - they were the size of my fingers!! If I had lived closer I would have taken them back! I sent a brief E-mail to the manager that service was not as expected (you are limited to a few lines, so I could not go into detail), but I never received a response! No call or Email I am horrified by this experience. For the price I paid I should have had giant wings from that place. I have paid half the price elsewhere and received better. They should have been embarrassed to send those things out to me! They may have gotten $26.00, but they lost a lot more potential business! If you intend to do any take out orders i suggest you open your box in front of the waitress and look at your food before leaving!! read more
