I've been coming here for a few years now and the service I got today doesn't align with the values at Big Daddys. The server we got today didn't seem like she wanted to serve us , she got really defensive when she rung up our order wrong when she could've easily communicated with her upper management about replacing it rather than taking it personal . Went on a Sunday night, and there was a bit of a wait. There was room at the bar, so we decided to eat there. Lexy took care of us, and gave good service. We had a few alcoholic drinks between us, and we all ordered different burgers. One ordered the pimiento cheese appetizer, that came with cowboy candy (sweetened jalapeños), pickles and Greek flat bread. I ordered the pimiento cheese and bacon burger with onion rings, which I've also had in the past. Everyone commented that the burgers were a good size and had good flavor. We stopped by this restaurant during our travels. We both got the 10oz Sirloin and were happy with our choice. I was not too impressed with the side salad as they are very plain (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onion). You have to pay $1 each to have extras added. The service was not the best. I do come here to eat other things like the Blacked Salmon which is amazing. I decided to get two orders of the 10 pieces wings. First flavor I got was the Who's Your Daddy and the other was the Hot Teriyaki. Let me just say I was super disappointed. Who's Your Daddy wings: The who's your daddy order had literally no sauce on them and while the flavor of what sauce I could taste was good they were over cooked. Hot Teriyaki: The flavor was just not it and over cooked. In the end I ended up I ate 1 drum and 1 flat from the Who's Your Daddy and 1 flat from the Hot Teriyaki. My mom and I enjoyed our meals. We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. It was such a nice day so we sat outside in the covered area. The table hadn't been wiped off, but we didn't say anything and cleaned it ourselves. Gracie, our server, was excellent and attentive despite us being the only patrons sitting outside. My fish tacos were blackened and delicious. The slaw provided a nice crunch and the aoili sauce was the perfect amount of spice. It was taco Tuesday so my tacos were half off. Winning! Everything is always amazing when I go there. I love the setting and the employees and servers are always so welcoming, friendly, and kind. They have some of the best waitresses you will find. Food is consistently a solid 7/10. I've never been disappointed by the food, Wings are solid. I get a waffle and whiz EVERY TIME. I frequent Big Daddy's as it is near my work place and the environment is super relaxed, normally with good music. My waiter tonight Walker K was phenomenal. He served my whole group of 9 men quickly and efficiently. Food was hot and refills were quick. We were sitting outside and he was outside consistently checking on us! I'm super disappointed! Have always liked Bigg Daddy's and I don't know what's happened. The last several times we've ordered takeout from them - including this evening - the order has been either incorrect, incomplete, or inedible. We got the wrong wings (ordered non-spicy types and got done that have set my mouth on fire) and a baked potato that's hard as a rock, cold, and missing condiments. Needless to say, we won't be back until things change. A real loss for our area as I realized I'm not the only disappointed customer. read more

I didn't try the sandwich called "balboa" but the cheese sauce had a good flavor! There are many good options on the menu and other that we have talked to recommended the burgers!! It was really good just a little expensive which I get these days. I got a 10 piece boneless wings and a Caesar salad. I did half hot honey mustard(amazing) and half honey Buffalo. I did ask for extra sauce on them but it didn't look like that. It was $15 for a 10 piece wing though and $5 for my Caesar salad with tip and all $30 for lunch is a lot but I'd go back. Dinner in North GA. The place was empty when we got here but it started filling up in a short time. My clam chowder was really a cream of potato chowder. Top top it off, my soup wasn't all that hot (Temp.) My burger was good and had a lot of flavor. My greens had to much garlic!! I will have to say that they give ya a lot of food but not all that good. The best thing was our server. She was very sweet and on top of things. I come in regularly and everytime I come in there is always the same manager working. She has red hair, dresses like she is going to bed, never looks professional or clean. I was in the other day and had a young lady taking care of me and my family my wings were under cooked and I asked her to fix them for me and she didn't know but as I was walking to the bathroom with my brother I overheard her talking to the servers and telling them about how she was going to "lose it" on me and my family because of their mistake. She talked to the employees like dogs and made me and my family feel as if we were wrong for trying to enjoy our meal. She doesn't deserve the title of management. I will not be back, my server was so kind and had a lovely personality and I hope she doesn't lose that light inside her working for such a hateful creature. read more

Coworkers wanted to eat here and I had no qualms with it being I had dined at the establishment in Helen multiple times with no issues. The restaurant in Cornelia was spacious and clean but that's about all the positive notes I can hit here. The hostess seemed uninterested and could care less if she met our needs or not. I get it that every one has a bad day though. She just seemed uninterested. Because I couldn't decide what I wanted after peering at the menu, I watched as many entrees passed by seeing if anything peaked my interest. You eat with your eyes ya know I asked several at the table for their recommendations and finally landed on the Daddy with cheese. In my humble opinion one can never go wrong with American cheese yet that wasn't even an option here?!? Say whaaaaat?!? Never mind, I will have the blackened chicken tacos with spicy aioli. There were six of us and food took about 35 minutes to arrive at the table. Totally fine. Everyone's food was delivered at the same time which is always a plus otherwise we would've waited until our food was either luke warm or cold while the remaining plates were delivered. No one likes that. I don't care who you are. And if you do, I don't trust you The spicy aioli indeed was spicy. I loved it. The tortilla tasted old and stale. If they would've warmed it and made it pliable it would've been better no doubt. The tacos were packed with chicken. The problem there was the chicken was so dry it was unbearable. Pair dry chicken and a stale tortilla and you have nothing I want to eat. I ate half a taco simply because I was hungry and had to ask for more aioli just to make it edible. Pretty solid American fare. The burgers are very big (12 oz patty) and come with waffle fries or cilantro cole slaw. Fries were yummy and even better dipped in ranch. Their ranch sauce is on the garlicky side, which I loved!! I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 since they are NOT socially distancing with their parties of 6 and larger for dining inside. The tables were so close together that you could barely slip between the tables when people sat down. My husband and I are off in a corner by ourselves which felt better. Also, they brought us the wrong drinks for round number 2. Luckily they corrected it without making a fuss. Overall very good. Will definitely come back in the future. read more

I have been to this location and the Helen one several times now, and I'm never disappointed. Today I got chicken and waffles with cilantro slaw and waffle fries. The chicken was juicy on the inside but the breading was to thick and slightly burnt. The Jim bean syrup was the best I've ever had, it made everything 10x better. Our waitress was very fast and quick to refill drinks. I ended off the meal with a giant chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. The cookie was warm and gooey and it perfectly accompanied the vanilla ice cream. Overall my meal was very good and I will continue coming here regularly. read more
