After my 1st call, we communicated through text messaging. She accommodated my need for a cake to feed 70 people, and when I wasn't sure it would be enough, we added 2 dozen cupcakes. I sent a few pics of what I wanted, and she did the rest. Day-of: Everything was amazing! So many guests asked where I got the cake and remarked about how moist it was. We still have a few more bakeries on our calendar to try, but Kali's Kakes is a top contender for sure. Kali herself was very kind and helpful through the process of us planning our tasting. My fiancé drove 2 hours to collect the samples and we tried them as soon as I got home from work. We tried the Victorian Wedding Cake, Death By Chocolate, Chocolate Mocha, Strawberry, and Dulce de Leche. They were packaged up so neatly and cutely! We loved our tasting! My favorite was the Victorian since it's that classic almond cake with raspberry filling, closely followed by my fiancé's favorite which was the Strawberry. That one honestly blew us away. It tasted just like biting into a strawberry. Next fave would have to be Dulce de Leche! Everything was so yummy. We ate it all in just a couple days time.
