I am writing this as a warning to others. I am a retired Navy vet who has been a loyal customer of White Allen for years. I have bought my cars there and performed every single service interval there. That loyalty ended this week. The Incident: I took my vehicle in for a standard oil change. My car is notoriously dry and well-maintained. The next day, I found oil all over my driveway. I popped the hood to find puddles of oil sitting on the engine block. The "Service": We called and spoke to Assistant Service Manager Jerry. We sent him photos of the mess. He argued with us and refused to pay for a tow, even though this was their mistake. Once the car was there, Jerry had the nerve to tell me he saw a "completely dry engine" and then pivoted to claiming I had a "transmission leak." The Management Failure: They agreed to clean it up. When we went to retrieve the car, Jerry wouldn't even look at us. We spoke to the Dealership Manager, Shane Witt. Shane admitted there was no transmission fluid and that it was likely a spilled oil change. However, when Shane walked out to inspect the car with me, there was still oil everywhere. He admitted it was unacceptable and had it sent back to be cleaned a second time. The Result: Shane Witt promised to investigate the situation and call us back. He never called. We took the vehicle to a separate, independent dealership to be safe. They inspected it and confirmed: It was definitely just a botched oil change. There are absolutely ZERO transmission leaks. Conclusion: They spilled oil everywhere, failed to clean it, tried to scam me into thinking I had a transmission leak, refused to pay for the tow, and the General Manager failed to follow up. They are now refusing to honor the covered components on the vehicle, by both the warranty and the dealer. They lied about the trade in value on my other vehicle and didn't honor it at sale. She scrimped and saved to get the money they quoted her to get her car fixed and she drove it. Knowing it was very dangerous for her to drive it there and they did not honor their quote. They gave her over the phone. The person mostly responsible for not honoring this quote is jerry swain he told her he would not honor the quote that was given over the phone. He wanted to charge her more money, knowing d*** getting well. She didn't have it, so my mother had no choice but to drive her car home. Knowing that her car could break down at any time and be stranded on the side of the road. I just want to say thank you white Allen on main street in Dayton. Ohio, for leaving my 80 four-year-old mother stranded on the side of the road because you were too good to honor your own d*** quote. Purchase a 2017 Silverado now it has a lifter tick. Dropped it off to the service department to have it checked. They stated they could not find the source of the noise. When I picked it up noticed paint chips on the tailgate. Also put 20 miles on the truck! Have pictures of the tailgate there was no damage at all! Pictures of everything when I dropped I off at the service department. They are stating that they will not fix the paint damages. I've really never read Yelp reviews for a car dealer before. Apparently, I should have. I assumed that GM/Chevrolet had some minimum brand standards but that appears to not be the case. I saw a Bolt EUV in transit on chevrolet.com and called in at the beginning of June. I talked to a salesman named Roger. He said that it was due in on the 16th but that I would have first right of refusal. I asked if I needed to put a deposit down or anything. He said no and that he would call when it arrived. I called and talked to him on the 16th to check to see if it had arrived. He said it was running behind. On June 24th, the car went from in transit to sold online. I called first thing in the morning on June 25th and they said it was still there but Roger wasn't in as it was Saturday and he would call me back. I called on Monday morning and they said Roger wasn't in yet but would call when he arrived. I called at lunch and they said he had been with a customer all day. I called on the way home and Roger happened to be the one who answered this time. Roger then told me that the car sold on Friday and that since I was out of state, he couldn't sell it to me unless it sat on the lot for 15 days. I asked why he wouldn't have told me that at any time in the past month so that I could just move on. No answer. I then talked to the sales manager and he said that Roger should have told me this earlier and he had no idea why he wouldn't. Of course, they don't have any way to make this right and not that they would anyway. I could have saved myself a month of headache if I had read these reviews earlier. Purchased a car at the Dayton location right at closing time on a Friday 3/12/22. I wanted to see the paperwork on mechanics reports, but they weren't available since they were closing. I went forward without it in hand, because it was promised to me that when I returned to get the car Monday morning, the paperwork outlying the cars faults, brake specs, tire tread, repairs, etc would be available to me. I spoke specifically with an unprofessional, Smirking, belittling guy named Dan in Sales and a rude unprofessional manager named Beau. I was told that I couldn't have these reports now when I showed up to pick up my vehicle. They made a huge ordeal out of it, and they figured since my husband was not present, and the paperwork was already signed for purchase, that they didn't have to give me anything. The manager Beau came out, and rather than offering to have one of their mechanics look over the van and tell me the information or print it out, he shrugged his shoulders and told me "You don't have to buy it, you can just leave. It's no big deal to me!" My husband had already completed this purchase, so they felt like they didn't have to live up to anything. He was so belittling, and knew I had no choice but to leave with this car that I was already done purchasing. I told him that I could patiently wait for this info. Magically, he re-appeared with a report stating it was there all along. 1/2 of the categories were in-completed on the form. They belatedly disrespected me And lied to me about what checking these things out would entail since I am female. They told me that it would take hours to tell me the brakelife because all of the wheels would need removed. (Which is NOT True!) I was so flustered when I left, that I realized they gave me a van with 1/4 a tank of gas. That's what you get for $25,000!! Literally wouldn't send my worst enemy there if she was a female. These two shovanistic men tag teamed me with gender discrimination and rudeness and tried to play me for a fool. I'm having everything reviewed by an alternate shop and contacting an attorney. I have been telling them about the issues with my 2019 Chevy commercial box truck for about two months now. I took it in last week to the service department so they could figure out what the problem is in four days all they accomplished is test driving it around for about 40 miles to try to duplicate the issue that I was having. could not figure it out I ended up not getting my truck fixed spending $800 on a rental box truck to still be able to do my work and the first day that I get my truck back which was yesterday within 2 1/2 hours of driving it my check engine light came on has stayed on and now today every issue that I have told them about has popped up in the matter of the last four hours. I am beyond irritated and frustrated and that was by far the worst customer service or even attempt to fix an issue that I have ever dealt with. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am from Alabama and inquired about a 2003 Chevrolet SS Silverado. I did an application and a salesman by the name Dan Wegner called back. We talked for a while then he said that he was going to get with the finance team to see what they could come up with and that was on a Monday morning. Tuesday morning I had to call him to see if he found out anything, but was never able to get in touch with him so I left him a voicemail. I waited till Friday to see if he would call, of course he never did. On Friday I emailed General manager and to my surprise Dan finally gave me a call to give me an update. I agree to everything and he takes down more information and he says, I will give you a call back. NEVER AGAIN!! I found a new mechanic that proved Wes at White Allen a liar!! I was having problems with the blend door A/C and I was told by Wes that it was all rusted in there! They added on a huge amount of hour's to the quote, and then he ( Wes told my extended warranty company that it was rusted and must have been in a flood, that ruined my chances of using the extended warranty!! Which is completely false! I took it to a different mechanic and it didn't even need a part replaced or the dash taken out and no sign of rust! ( almost all the parts are plastic, how did it rust? I paid White Allen almost 150$ to be lied to and for them (Wes) to assume something that wasn't true!! My fixed 2019 Cadillac xt4 is proof!! White Allen price over 3 thousand! The last two trucks my dad has bought from this place has been trash. Nothing but constant problems. He only has 68000 miles on his truck and it's in the shop right now for a oil pump problem. There is no reason him to have problems with that truck at 68000 mile. You ad the fact that the last truck he got from them was a complete nightmare tells me there is no way I would ever buy from this place. Barry the Used Car Manager is a liar. He called me and told me I could finally purchase a vehicle we'd been discussing for days, for the price I agreed to pay. I drive to the dealership. We filled out all the paperwork. While I was sitting in the finance department I noticed the price on all the paperwork was NOT what we agreed. Luckily, Barry wrote our agreed price on a business card. When I showed this to the financial advisor, he called Barry. Barry told him I could not have the car for the price he wrote on the business card. Barry refused to talk to me. Just recently had THE WORST experience I ever had at ANY dealership EVER and I've been going here for years, the staff was very UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY, and just acted as if my car sitting for 5 days straight just for a diagnostic was no big deal, the service advisor that I was given did not contact me not one time for any updates and I had to constantly call them to get any kind of information on what was going on with my vehicle. Worse service center available. They kept my vehicle 5 days with no communication. Called every single day, couldn't get a single call back ABOUT MY OWN VEHICLE! I could not trust a shop who let my car sit for days without being serviced or even looked at, much less when Tom Pendleton couldn't bother to return a single phone call. When a tow truck driver came to take my vehicle, they told him my car wasn't at their facility. My husband had to come down and freak out on every employee because the tow truck driver couldn't get anyone to tell him where my vehicle was! I took it there to fix the A.C. was blowing hot on the drivers side, paid for Diagnostics. They said it was rusted shut, voiding the warranty. It's a 2019 and no metal parts. Asked for a picture and they wouldn't give me one. parts were 50% higher than another dealer, Labor was more than double. totaling over $3000 Took it to local ASA certified mechanic, he fixed it for $500 and no parts. White-Allen is nothing but Liars and cheats, Especially Wess. Good luck if you take it there, open your wallet wide. read more

I scheduled my vehicle for an oil change but never got the oil change instead they only 'checked' my breaks which I thought was complimitary with and oil change but ended up paying for a service that wasn't the reason I came to this dealership. After I paid for the break inspection, I was pointed in a general area to hunt for my vehicle that was parked somewhere on the back lot. I had to keep pushing my alarm on my key fob to find where my vehicle was located. After i asked for help i was again told that its somewhere on that lot. I wish I could leave a review of negative stars because they don't deserve ANY. I called GM directly on December 23rd about taking in my 2011 Camaro to have the clutch looked at (still under warranty). They set up the appt with White Allen dealership for the 29th at 1:00pm. There was NEVER a mention of a $100 diagnostic fee until I get there and the dealership tells me they won't look at it without payment. I tell them I'm not paying that for something under warranty and that it was never mentioned because I wouldn't waste anyone's time if I knew it was going to cost to look at it. The man named Loren that works there says that GM *may* have sent them an email about waiving the fee. He states the guy that would have received the email is at lunch and had us wait in the seating area and he said he'd come get us when everything was ready. (I was under the impression that the $100 fee was only to diagnose things not under warranty) so we're sitting in the waiting area thinking they're looking at the clutch and looking for the email so they can check anything that's not under warranty. Well turns out they were ONLY looking for the email and they never touched the car. So 1 hour and 10 mins after "looking" for the email, he comes and gets us and says he never got the email from GM and I have to pay $100 for them to look at it. Of course I'm immediately upset since I wasted over a hour waiting for no reason. I call GM and tell them what's going on so they say they're going to call the dealership and tell them to waive the fee. Well I go into the dealership while on the phone with GM and they say GM called but they were waiting on a call back for some reason. I somehow get disconnected from GM So I call them back again and they say "oh yeah, we sent an email December 23rd to TWO people that work there, Scott and Shane". I tell Loren the day, time, and who the email was addressed to. He states they don't have it and GM never called them back. The sales rep at GM doesn't understand why they would need called back so he talks to the manager at the dealership and gives him a code to waive the fee. In its entirety, just to try and get the car looked at took 2 HOURS! Now that Loren has the code from GM, he says he will look at it for only 1 hour. It's now 3:00 and with my patience wearing thin, I decide to leave and wait on a call when they're done looking it. At about 4:30, I go back without a call because my ride had other obligations. I walk in to see the entire team sitting there talking. Loren claims he was "about to call me" and that they test drove the car and nothing was wrong with it. Since they didn't hear anything wrong, they didn't bother to even look at it! I immediately ask for my keys and I leave without ANY paperwork. I wasted an ENTIRE day messing around with their unorganized, incompetent, and insensitive service. Do NOT waste your time going there either for service or to buy a car, they clearly don't value their customers or their time. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade having purchased three cars from this business over the years. I purchased a card that was only three years old with less than 45k miles on in 2019. Within a week of purchasing it, several major things went wrong. I called back to the dealership and was given mixed information about the needed repairs between the salesman, the repair shop and the schedulers. I eventually took my car in to get it repaired and my car was kept for over two months. I was called because they were going to report the loaner they gave me stolen because their incompetent staff had not maintained records of who had the vehicle. I was shortly after given me my car and assured that all the necessary things were fixed. They were not. The sunroof was replaced even though I told them it was the seal that was loose and whistling when driving. They replaced a whole new roof but didn't fix the problem. The gear shift was suppose to be replaced because the car wouldn't go in park. Two years later it still does not work despite the fact that they supposedly fixed it! I called the shop they said it would be covered totally by GM because it was a common problem. Now a guy just came out and told me completely different information. He said it will be $400! I purchased a used SUV in December of 2016 for about 17K. I drove it off the lot with a partial tank of gas and a detail job that my 12 year old son wasn't impressed with. 56 days after purchased (I know this because the manager told me) I took it in for service for the driver's side mirror and the rear passenger door lock to be fixed. I got a call from the service department saying the repairs weren't covered. I called and left a message with manager, who agreed to foot the bill for the rear lock assembly replacement only. The mirror assembly was inconsequential to the functionality of the vehicle. I dropped the car off for service again on Monday, February 27, 2017 because the check engine light came on yesterday morning and my remote start wasn't working. The service department said they called Used Cars, and got a the go-ahead to pay 50% of the cost in good faith. Leaving me $230+ to pay out pocket. Then informed me that the SUV was in need of oil change (I just bought it in December and put less than 3K miles on it). The oil change is $48. I'm a little distraught by the series of events since the purchase of the SUV. After investing 17K into a vehicle I expect more from the car dealership. I am unimpressed with the level of service provided by White Allen. Buyer's remorse is a recurring theme instead of the excitement that should accompany a vehicle purchase. If you are planning to buy, use caution and restraint when considering buying used from White Allen. read more

Apparently these guys can't do math. My husband made a deal on a brand new Chevy Silverado. The sales person called him back today wanting to go to bat with his GM for him. After calling back with the GM's best price he threw in that "they" were working on a deal with someone else on the same truck. When we countered his best offer and they accepted it he asked us to get in there as soon as possible (it was 4:30 pm). While on our way he calls back to say "she" did the math wrong. So that makes me wonder did they really do the math wrong or close a deal with someone else for more. money. Either way they are not trustworthy. They are rude and think they're slick by changing your email address so you won't get the feedback survey from Chevrolet that grades them. If I could I would give them negative stars!
