The building is a beautiful mansion Est. in 1806. The mansion was converted to a restaurant in 1975. You need reservations for the upper upscale dining area. We decided to eat in the Speakeasy room located in the basement because it was more casual. Glad we ate in speakeasy room because it was a really nice cave looking room with vintage decor and cool prohibition photos from the 1920s. We enjoyed the Half Rack of char grilled pork ribs with brown sugar, soy and ginger with a side of cheesy scallop potatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed the crème brûlée and Kahlua cheesecake. The cocktails were delicious and have been switched out since it opened to now fit the spooky/fall season. They seem to have a smaller beer/wine offering than a larger establishment would have but this IS a cocktail bar so you definitely want to try one (or two) of those. The food is delicious just know it's more of a hors d'oeuvre, snacking type menu, not a full dinner menu. Flatbreads, crostinis, dips with your choice of bread/chips and desserts are all available and the portions leave you feeling satisfied. Wednesday nights they have live musicians in-house and they also do special events like Mixology Mondays so check their socials if you're interested in their upcoming events. The bartender never came back over to me; I went up to the bar to close out and pay my bill like 15 minutes after I finished my drink.
