First time here and it was not what I expected, I guess it's all hype where I come from because these burgers were nasty. Just a soggy mess with no flavor, the zesty zing sauce was good and helped me finish it, I also tried the vegan burger since I eat vegan food all the time and nope just nope, they messed this opportunity up. We had to stop to charge our car for a long ride from to Pittsburgh, and we stopped for a quick eat...to eat in our car! The workers were friendly, amazingly quick, and wonderful at their job. We thought the sliders and fries were perfect, and if we had one of these by us we would be in trouble! The store and bathrooms were both very clean as well. read more

Omg So excited to see one near the hotel. I miss having one close to me. Place was clean. Ordering was automated and there were lots of mistakes ultimately leading to someone helping us instead. Food came out hot and fresh and delish just like I remembered. We got three cheese sliders and three regular sliders. Both had plenty of onions and I added mustard to mine. Three sliders and we were stuffed. Good thing we didn't order anything else. Inside was clean staff was super friendly and I will def go back if I'm in the area. Too notch food and service. Four stars for a White Castle? "I'm a fan""??? What am I thinking? Well, my opinion of White Castle has been rising ever so slightly lately, and I had a great experience at this one. After an awful time at McDonald's across the street, still hungry and decaffeinated, I needed something quick but filling, and this was handy. With some misgivings, I headed in. Not super busy, just a steady stream at 930 on a Sunday morning. Maybe people don't think of White Castle as a breakfast place, but they have lots of options, including some waffles that make me drool. I'd tried them once before, and this time I got two. They ain't cheap, but they're pretty filling for their size, and taste good. Definitely not healthy, so I would recommend just one, and only once in awhile. But: good waffle, with chicken or bacon or sausage I think. Some have cheese, maybe egg, etc. Breakfast food all mashed together in a handy package. Easy to eat, hot, fatty, and tasty. I also had a tea because I really like their sweet tea. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt. The place was clean. Parking and access were great. White Castle as a whole... has changed, and I have. It used to be the only place open late, and I didn't like it much but went when I was hungry and out of options. More recently, I've gone a few times because they are handy and had something interesting to try (Impossible Slider, etc.) There are more late night options now, so it's not the top of my list, but I don't avoid it like I used to. So, first things first, please get read of your AI ordering system it's not futuristic it's annoying as all get out. It picked up everything we said and made the ordering frustrating. I like speaking to an actual person even if it's a young high school kid who hates there job or an elderly person who is just trying to find a way to fill in that time of their life. Felt bad for the lady who was working, looked like she was the only employee on site. We were wondering what was taking so long with our order then noticed some one come out with four boxes of the thirty count white castles. (That's 120 white castles, that's a lot of sliders) the lady who helped us was super nice and polite (she was the only reason for the three stars other wise it would have been two star) as I've said before you either like white castles or you hate them. If you are ordering white castles you get the whole deal onions, pickles and cheese other wise they can taste pretty bland. Ran through this drive-through on our way out of Columbus. The speaker was turned down low, making it difficult for me to communicate with the girl taking our order, with both of us having to repeat ourselves- and I don't have any hearing issues. My sliders were fine, greasy as expected from White Castle. My onion chips were half burnt- one was so bad the onion inside actually came out like a hard piece of paper. The unburnt ones were edible but still not great. Our drinks were cold and correct, and they do have the fancy Coke machine with lots of choices. So there's a plus. Overall, there are so many choices at this exit that next time through we'll pick something else. read more

Suddenly, this store is no longer open 24 hrs. I thought it wasn't open when I got off work at midnight because it was a Sunday night. Nope. Wasn't open Monday night, either. Is this permanent or temporary? Who knows. But they really need to revise their info so some of us don't drive WAY out of our way for nothing. This was my first try of a White Castle burger product, and it was my last. I always thought that White Castle built it's foundation on cleanliness and on a tasty product, neither of which were evident on my trip. The restaurant was dirty and emanated a general sense of neglect. The burgers I didn't care for. The bun's texture was so squishy and mushy. I know that they're famous for the steamed bun, but these were down right soggy. I'll stick with Crystal's if I need gut-busters in the future! read more

This is the first White Castle I have been to in about 30 years. It's still the same as I remember it to be from way back when. Road tripping across the USA I saw an emblem on a road sign, then another and then another. I decided to get off the highway and visit an old friend called White Castle. It's located easy on and off the highway which was a great plus. Next to a rather large shopping area, which was also a good thing as I could get out and take a walk and grab a few things while I was having a stretch. I entered the drive through and was immediately greeted by a young man's voice. I placed my order and was on the way to pay. I received my little bundles of hot steamy joy moments later. Each was placed in its own little box and ready to be devoured. I had forgotten about the sogginess factor at first but was quick to overcome the sensation. It's a slider, goes down in a few bites and you move on to the next one. They are not for everyone and to be honest it's not something I would drive all night to get too. A true love/hate relationship here. The jalapeno sliders are so absolutely wonderful for my soul, yet so horribly bad for my heart and arteries. Bite size morsels of semi questionable meat in between two grease sponges with a little jalapeno kick. Brilliant! You would think with White Castle's Corp offices in Columbus, these local stores would be top notch. Not. The drive thru, on a not so busy night, was a real bad experience. After paying we sat waiting for over 2 mins then told to pull up to the next window where CLEARLY they forgot about us, finally had to lay on the horn only to get a look of disgust. Went in to the new "high tech" White Castle on Hillard Rome Rd. Had no problems ordering and enjoyed placing my own order on the computer. Being able to put it exactly the way u want it instead of explaining it to the cashier and hope she got my order right. Rude, disrespectful staff. This was my first trip to White Castle and it was entirety dissappointing. We don't have them in our area so I was confused about how to order. Instead of helping, the young lady at the register just snickered and whispered to her friends. The food was mediocre and bland, and I left hungry. After being here so many times and never putting a review on I will finally do this. This is a one-star not because of the quality of food however it is for the speed of their service! On average I would say the drive-through seems to take about 25 minutes and that does not depend on how many customers they have. Today it took about 30 with three cars ahead of me in the Drive-Thru. It's not a fluke it has happened over a dozen times and this last year! Too bad because the food has always been good but they also do not hire quality workers for the most part. This is a sad day, but in agreement with the reviews here, maybe it was time. This particular White Castle has closed down as of this week.
