She got the order correct and it came out quick enough. The store appears clean and instead of a small window, the employees have a sliding door to exit. I've been enjoying these sliders since I was a kid and enjoyed a sausage breakfast slider this visit -- it was yummy and so were the double sliders. 05/02/2025. Went to the drive through tried transferring the ai to an associate at the drive through. Waited 10 min to then drove to the first window. There were 3 workers there, and a car in front of us waiting for an order as well. still no one came to the window. my wife had to call to get them to take our order. We paid, got to the second window, and a worker screamed as soon as the pull the window down. They were also cursing at eachother. Systems. huh, Systems?? This is White Castle. Not sure why "Systems" was added, it now sounds like a secret govt. defense agency. Ambiance : 5 star This is a newer location. The decorations are nostalgic with a touch of architectural digest. The dining area is clean, bright and open, one of the largest that I've ever seen. The restrooms are family friendly with a fold down changing area in the mens room. (how thoughtful) :) Food : 3 stars. I ordered 4 slider combo pickle onions. Just when you thought that every manufacture could make a product any thinner or smaller, WC systems did. I'm not sure what I saw was an anomaly but my last slider of 4 was very thin and smaller almost like the butt end of a bread loaf?? Grrr. The French fries were toasty and crisp. Soda was Coke products I had the hi-c fruit punch. So my onion flavored belches would be suppressed since it's a long ride up to Milwaukee. I went inside to order. One young man who was working behind the counter had his pants sagging down so his underwear were showing. 2 girls had Afros that were handling food with no hairnets on. The service was very poor and they were very unorganized and all moved extra slow. I finally got my 10 sliders and fries. Got in my vehicle to take my food home to my family. The food smelled so bad. It smelled like garbage that was sitting in the sun for days. I literally got sick to my stomach from the smell of the food and pulled into a gas station and threw it away. If food smells that bad there's something wrong. Food should smell good. Not make you want to vomit. Try it yourselves. I haven't had White Castle in more than 20 years because none were near where I lived. Today, I spotted one while visiting the area and just had to stop. Beyond the fact that the double cheese sliders taste as they have always, but now they have the Impossible burger and a veggie burger as well, which makes me like White Castle even more since I prefer to eat less meat. White castle burgers are well known for their nickname "sliders" and they hold up to that name very well. Lol If your not in the mood for these deliciously small burgers with grilled onions and pickles, than you can opt for chicken rings, fish sandwiches or other featured menu items. Their mozzarella sticks and onion rings are a big hit. If you have a party or a big family, your best bet is to get the crave case. If your a fan of sliders and grew up on them this location will bring back those old memories. The food is consistent with the White Castle chains and is open 24 hours. Get you some! If you have never had White Castle burgers let me give you the rundown. First off, they are small, 2.5" square burgers where the meat is cooked with the onions on them. So, they are somewhat infused with onion flavor which is great if you like onions and no so much if you marry someone who hates onions (I.E. My wife). If that's the case, they can opt for a chicken or fish sandwich which are also smaller in size than a normal sandwich. I would say the average person will eat 3 to 5 burgers and maybe 2 or 3 of the chicken or fish sandwiches to make a normal sized meal. While placing the order the lady argued with me about what was and wasn't a bacon cheeseburger or slider... super rude... then I asked for no onions, of course they came with onions and then the manager walked to my car and argued with me about how she made them, so I showed her the onions. This was my second trip to a WC in one week. I was touring the mid west and fell in love with this place. I ordered 2 cheeseburger sliders, chicken rings, and a chocolate dipped cheesecake bar. The burgers were hot, fresh and cute. The chicken rings were surprisingly good and the sauce selection was great. My dad has the cheesecake and loved it.
