I LOVED firehouse. the staff always did it right, but since the staff change everything manages to get messed up. Ingredients go on the wrong sandwich, some of which are completely missing. They forgot the cheese when I asked for extra cheese. How do you even do that?? When I go with numerous individuals they've been consistently getting what each of us wanted on our individual subs wrong. HOW. They ask you before submitting the order. I literally cannot think of this place as a safe food place anymore. I miss the old staff. As someone who used to come regularly, I don't think I'll be able to come back until changes are made because now my sandwich always gets made incorrectly. I got a pastrami sandwich which came with a pickle a bag of chips. I got the pickle chips, which were good. The sandwich was OK, very tasty, but the pastrami was not the most tender and wasn't very plentiful. The service was very good and the soda machine had lots of options. The atmosphere was fine and the menu items all looked diverse and tempting. Perhaps I would've enjoyed another type of sandwich more. I ate it Firehouse Subs in Valparaiso, IN a few years ago, which seemed to be a better experience. read more

I ordered a Large VEGGIE sub on 11/16. There were almost no veggies and veggies that were there were wilted and soggy. The bread was hard and stale. OK, so this is not about the food. The food is always good when we come here. It's the service I put in a pick up order and didn't realize that I was logged under a different account than I normally am which is under one of my friends name. So when I walked in, I looked at the pick up and it wasn't my name (it was my friend's name and I thought it was funny cause I thought maybe she ordered from there too, and she was gonna be coming in ). the lady there asked if I had a pick up order, gave her my name, then asked me if it could be under another name. not even thinking about the fact that I was logged in under a different name. I said no so then she proceeded to walk away and keep doing her thing. I'm looking, I opened up my app and I look at the account information and I see that the name that I am logged in under is in fact the order that is waiting for pick up. I then proceeded to say you know what I actually am logged in under a different name. This is my order. Once I said that I just got a blank stare, looking at me no response no nothing so I pick up the order I get my cup to go get a drink. There's no lids.. so after I get it, I walked to the counter and asked for a lid. without a word she goes and gets lids, open them up, game I take one. I say thank you and I just get a blank stare. Mind you we are literally standing right in front of each other. It honestly felt like I was being judged and was thought to be lying about that actually being my order.I realize how random that all sounds. I had my app open. I had my receipt ready to show because obviously anyone can come in and say that. She could've very easily seen that. Their gluten free roll is amazing! We have never been there before & I only went to try their gluten free roll. It was amazing! We definitely suggest going here! As someone who has been to dozens of Firehouse Subs, I feel that I can give a good review on this new restaurant. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted by the entire staff, including the owner. The store was very clean and inviting. We received our orders in a timely manner, and it was delivered to our table unlike some other Firehouse's I've frequented. The first thing I noticed when our subs came out was that the whole staff knew what they were doing and really took their time. The subs I am used to getting are typically just thrown together and aren't that presentable. These subs looked like they came straight off the posters in the ads! The food was delicious and all around a great experience. After our meal the owner cleared our tables and gave us a tour of the store. He was very knowledgeable on the whole operation and explained the process in great detail. Overall, this is the best all around Firehouse franchise I have been privileged to patronize. Next time I am in the area I will be sure to come back to this location and I encourage everyone reading this to give this store a try. read more

Ordered curbside delivery for 5 people during the shelter in place rules. Everything was fixed perfectly and tasted delicious. Got the Hook & Ladder, New York Steamer, Pastrami Rueben, Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket, chili, and macaroni & cheese. Service was great. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Only complaint might be that the Pastrami Rueben could have had more meat on it. read more

Having recently moved from an area with Firehouse to an area without, I was pleasantly surprised when this one opened up. The food at Firehouse is a limited number of subs, served warm, but having the smaller menu means they can really do it well. My favorite is the Hook and Ladder which I enjoyed on this trip, but I've tried them all and liked each. The medium size sub is plenty big enough for me and as a meal it comes with a generously sized fountain drink (the have the Coke Freestyle machine), a package of chips, and a pickle spear. They also have chili, but I haven't tried it yet. The staff at this location were very friendly and appear to have been very well trained. I was greeted at the door on my way in and thanked for coming on my way out, a manager came to ask how things were, and my basket was cleared by a staff member. I'm sure some of those perks won't be possible when they are super busy, but it was a nice touch! read more

Employees were great. They were very friendly and professional and the facility was extremely clean. The pieces are affordable but the portion sizes are very small. I purchased an 8" steak and cheese and when I got home and opened the sandwich, I was surprised at the lack of meat. But, because the meat was well seasoned and not salty I put all the meat on half of the bread and tossed the other half of the bread. This was my first visit to a Firehouse Sub l will probably go back but I will not purchased another Steak and Cheese sub. read more

Where is the "Welcome to Firehouse!". I have been a fan of Firehouse Subs for some time, and this was the first time I didn't receive the standard enthusiastic greeting. I must say it started off my experience on a low point. Three employees that I saw in front, all made eye contact when I entered and not a single one said hello. No one in line either so it's not like they forgot cause they were swamped. Was in the dinning area and no one esle was greeted during my 30 min lunch between 1:30 and 2. Now the food; I got a Medium Firehouse Meatball with extra Italian seasoning. I've gotten the Meatball sub plenty of times in the past, and even though I got extra Italian seasoning, it still tasted bland. I'm thinking the marinara needed a little extra salt. All in all, I've had much better Firehouse Sub experiences. Management at this store needs to ensure consistency with store policies if the greeting is still enforced and taste food to ensure flavor. read more

I have no complaints about this Firehouse Sub. This was the first time I've ever eaten at one (there are very few where I live), and I would definitely try them again. The staff was friendly, brought our food to our table, the order was correct, and the food was very good. I liked the different varieties of subs they had (mom got a Turkey Cranberry, I got a Chicken Salsa Verde). They offer a good variety of subs, or you can build your own. They had a good variety of chips and cookies. We didn't try any of the dessert options, but the subs were good. Bread tasted fresh and everything was made fresh after we ordered. read more

I find the atmosphere pleasant and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the food I had was very bland and didn't seem to be of the highest quality. I would put it on par with a SubWay location definitely not a preminum like a Jersey Mikes. Overall I would say give it a try as the staff is nice and quick. You may be into that type of food but for the pricing I was disappointed. I have other friends that love it although I can't get my head around a $10 meal with the similar quality of subway that I can get my grub on for half the price. read more

My husband and I had lunch here today 11/7. I have to admit I had never been to a firehouse subs before and I was pleasantly surprised. So much better than subway or Potbellys. The place was clean and our order was taken and delivered promptly. We both had the Medium smoked turkey, provolone, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onion.
