Yesterday I placed an order using my BOGO reward. Went to pick up our food and there was a written "closed" sign on the door. I filled out the form online for customer service, but figured it wouldn't have to go to that extent as I can simply pick up my order the next day. I called and spoke to Mark, the store manager and he refused to make my order even after knowing their store was closed. I was offered a free bowl, nothing more. I explained that I simply want what I ordered, and was denied. This is horrible customer service and needs to be handled accordingly. Why would I settle for one bowl when there are two people to feed? That would mean I'd have to make another purchase which is unfair. read more

Hubby and I decided on this unusual choice for us, too late for breakfast on an early afternoon. Somewhat of a Subway-type choice beginning with a base menu item and then adding ingredients according to choice as the move was made down the line. I opted for a Tortilla Soup Bowl and hubby ordered the 3 Tacos. By the time we received our choices, they looked similar with the difference being the original bowl shell (my soup bowl) and his soft taco shells. My order additionally came with the soup, but as the base was brown rice and black beans, I opted for the soup in a separate soup container. Wary of the soup being too spicy for me, I received a small taster, and noted several expected spices, but not so spicy for me as to be too hot to enjoy. I must say, my bowl was piled high with chosen ingredients, including chicken (my protein choice), guacamole, corn, lettuce, etc. The ingredients were crisp and fresh. Delicious! His tacos were much the same only he opted for pork. We also shared a bottle of Spite (20 oz) priced at $3.65. My bowl choice was $10.90, and his tacos $11.40. Filling! Too much for two seniors, although very tasty. The restaurant was clean, the servers helpful, and they appeared to have lively take-out sales. Absolutely LOVE this place. It's genuinely a Chipotle dupe but better -- more flavor, better portions, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. You can tell they actually care about the food they're putting out. The customer service alone deserves a shoutout: both people working the front were super friendly, patient, and welcoming, which honestly made the experience even better. We paid $50+ (before tip) for two full meals and it was 100% worth it, it was filling, satisfying, and not one bite disappointed. The manager would not even eat here. I had to wait for him to COME BACK from his lunch break to get a refund. They denied my refund and tried calling the police to get me to leave. Qdoba hits the spot. This was a great healthier pit stop option during our recent road trip. I'm currently dairy free and realized that this is a great eatery for dietary restrictions. I was able to kick and choose everything I wanted in my bowl without feeling overly limited in my selections. The service was prompt and the space was clean. Really nice experience here today. Super friendly service and the food was excellent. I ordered the Impossible fajita bowl, and the fajita veggies were so good! They were perfectly cooked. I also requested pinto beans, white rice, queso, and guacamole in my bowl, and everything was delicious. I also ordered chips and a side of queso. This place is huge bigger than any other locations I been too. So clean & open. Beware, parking can be rough but it's definitely worth it. It was a little hard to find using mapquest. I never had any complaints about this franchise. Now that they have shrimp I'm sorry Chipotle but they're wiping you out lol. I love there fajitas. I've been on a Qdoba kick lately - I dig there grilled chicken, guac, and brown rice -oh let's not forget that they also offer non-flour tortillas - all good news when you are trying to avoid eating crap all the time. The staff here was great - they served with smiles and were quick about it - that's all I need to make my experience great. I took away one star because trying to find parking here during lunch/dinner rushes is crazy...just park across the street in the parking lot and walk. read more

Got the app just to write this review, this was not a pleasant experience. Firstly, none of the employees were wearing face masks and didn't put them on when they made my food. They did not welcome me into the restaurant. I was the only one in line, and I stood at the counter for several minutes before they attended to me, because they were talking to each other. There was no display of courtesy or pleasure in their tone and attitude. When they were making my burrito the presentation was not great and they tried to cover it up by adding a second tortilla. At least they wore plastic gloves, but there was no way I was going to eat my food when they probably breathed all over it. Plus the bathroom was disgusting. This is my favorite Qdoba. Charles, who is the manager at this store, is always so helpful and knows just what to put in my food. I love the staff and the food which is always fresh. The only thing I wish they had was shrimp along with the regular chicken and steak. I will be returning to eat here as long as I live in Hobart. read more

Hola! We love this Qdoba! (The Merrillville location only). We have never had bad service or awful food. We are always greeted with a hello and smiles. (Granted, we eat there a lot and are regulars, but still.) The employees seem to be motivated to make their restaurant the best and move with a sense of urgency. They are constantly serving, cleaning, sweeping or re-stocking. This group definitely takes their job seriously and has pride in where they work. The restaurant is spotless and so are the bathrooms. I have tried their soup, tacos, nachos and my fav, the quesadillas. All fantastic! You can make them as mild or spicy as you wish...YUM! We buy from the Craft 2 menu. Two smaller portions for $6.29!! This is the second time I've been here and they are just okay. First time I got a naked burrito with shredded beef, this time I tried the gumbo. They are definitely no chipotle, though their food options are similar. Both times I went they weren't busy, my stomach began hurting shortly after on both occasions. If you walk into Qdoba trying to compare it to Chipotle, you are probably going to be disappointed. The things that Qdoba does right is the same thing you cannot get at Chipotle. Their breakfast burritos are fantastic. The mexican gumbo is so good and then the 3 cheese queso that has just the right amount of spice is perfect. I find that I like Qdoba because of the cheese queso. I also like this place as an alternative to fast food. I feel like I am getting fresh food that is not processed. Chipotle is also pretty good. My husband and I eat here a few times a month. The service and the food is always AWESOME. The manager is really great- he always seems to be working well with both the employees and the customers. I went in at 9 tonight- an hour before they close and I order a quesadilla and a taco salad. They were out of taco salad shells so he fried one up for me. They were out of the large bowls they typically out them in- so they improvised and used two small ones. They rolled with the punches and never complained. A family with 3 small kids came in before me and the manager walked their food out to their table...because their hands were clearly full.
