Typical white castle food. Nothing bad. But the level of personal service from staff and manager are great.

Waited for over 30 minutes being 3 rd in line there were 6 cars after me. This is the worst drive up.

We ordered our food 30 minutes in advance of picking up and STILL had to wait 30 minutes until we got our order. Then, after getting our order, it was wrong! Had to drive back to the store to get a refund because we were not going to wait another hour to get our food remade (or have the same food thrown back at us cold). When we asked for our refund, the lady at the counter was incredibly rude and then told us to throw the order out in the lobby garbage on our way out instead of just taking the order back. Wow am I impressed. Ordered a crave case and a gallon of iced tea (when they had it), not only were the sliders good, when I called to say I had never received my iced tea, I was immediately called back and they allowed me to come back and pick it up! Very kind workers. read more

I have gotten ill from eating too many sliders, yes there is such a thing as too many! Ugh my limit is TWO doubles, any more than that makes me want to die. It's a science now. The chicken rings are delicious and I even enjoy the fish sandwich. I have gotten them at M down the street and they scald my mouth and are watery. Not here! The fish is pretty tasty. I love how friendly these people are and watching the guy making putting the sliders together is insane! So fast! I like being able to see them being made. What can I say... it's a White Castle We came here around 1:30 AM... six of us. Got a Crave Case - demolished in about 10 minutes AND they even comped us a Sack-o-Fries! Here's the skinny: Sliders... Place is Clean The midnight shift today (12/27/12) was great. Here's the fat: They sliders... oh god the sliders. We all know what happens a few hours after White Castle yet, we do it anyway. They're really fast at putting them together and cooking 'em up. I think we may have waited 5 mins for a Crave Case - not bad. Fast forward 10 years, and I'm living 6 hours away from the nearest White Castle and I have new found respect for those delicious sliders. When I come home, it's often my first stop. This location is closest to where I grew up and have been here many many times. So we go to Merrillville, IN to see Weird Al last summer. Yes, I said Weird Al. Yes, we are complete geeks, but anyone who's a fan knows that Al rocks and there's a reason he's been around almost 3 decades and has the same backing band since day one. Phew! Anyhow...to the point... Seems like many visits to other cities that involve a late night involve trips to White Castle. And there just happened to be a WC about a mile west of our hotel. Drunk, determined and daring (you know, like DDD format like on CDs? What???), I trudged along the grassy sidewalk-less slope of busy Lincoln Highway through bank parking lots, car dealerships and by a closed BW3 to get to the well lit Shrine of Slyders (SOS answered!). Granted that it was summertime, knowing that there was not a microwave in the hotel room, I high-tailed it back to the hotel so the Slyders could be enjoyed while still warm and accompanied by yet more beer and bad late night horror movies on cable. Seems like the hilariously bad Chucky movies are on cable every time we stay in a freakin' hotel! read more

Pulled up to the drive thru menu and was told right away "please wait"...and I waited...7 mins before they came back on the intercom. Ordered 5 sliders no onion. Then I wait again in the horribly slow drive thru line. Get to the window where it was a good 2 mins before the girl opens it and says "2 bacon jalapeño cheddar?" No. "Well what did you have?" Aren't they supposed to know? I waited a total of 25 mins in the drive thru line for 5 sliders. If they weren't for my mom I would have driven away. Inside was no better. During this Covid 19 crisis where these employees still have their jobs I can't believe the level of poor service and poor quality of food I experienced here. First the cashier forgot our drink so we sat waiting patiently for him to reopen the window to ask us what the problem was for minutes. Then while handing over the drink he proceeds to spill the drink all over my hand. No apologies. No replacement of drink. Barely even acknowledged that the drink spilled. Ordered a 30 crave case with special instructions of no pickle on 10 and add ketchup and mustard to 5 of them. Received our crave case to reveal 30 cheeseburgers with pickle and a mystery looking sauce on all 30 burgers that were cold in temperature. Tried calling the location to report the error as I live approximately 30 min away and got no answer at the restaurant. Could it be that they knew they screwed up the order and didn't wanna talk to us??? I hope something gets done about the unprofessional way this location is running. Just awful!!!!!!! read more

The rating reflects my opinion on the food quality, primarily focused on the breakfast menu. White Castle has been a icon for years. I recall visiting several location growing up. I joined the military and subsequently shipped all over the world. I found that White Castles weren't as prevalent below the Mason Dixon line. Experiencing the traditional slider has been a reunion, however the breakfast needs work. I am speaking simply of the product itself. The service at this location is decent. Of the multiple times I have been here, I have encountered a multitude & varying degrees customer service for the most part positive. Every morning I see the same taxi cab driver crashed out in the parking lot. To get back to the food. They need to scrap the current Breakfast process or improve it with a flavorful component. The concept is good but the flavors are less than appealing. The sausage has a very odd flavor, the waffle sandwich is so incredibly dry, I didn't have any moisture in my mouth left after the first bite. You Really have to wonder if the powers to be taste this food before releasing it to be served by their staff. Ok now let's talk about the coffee. Um ya about that, there are a bunch of choices available nearby, this also needs work. Breakfast is a great market to generate revenue from if you have a marketable product that tastes better than the cardboard that your advertising is printed on. I will return at some point for a few traditional sliders but I'll pass on breakfast until changes are made. read more

Terrible service, waiting 15 mins for my order to be taken, had to ask for my receipt just to see my order was wrong because the cashier didn't read my order back to me. Food was less than average, bottom of the jar salty pickles , and I watched the same cashier eat food off the fee fryer twice. Made me rethink the whole eating here thing. Went through the drive through. First thing the guy says to me: we don't have any fried items. Ummm. How can you make it a true White Castle experience without onion rings? No fried items meant no onion rings, no fries and no chicken. I was looking forward to some onion rings and chicken rings. After a long drive from Orlando, that was a huge disappointment. Just moved to the area and called ahead of time to place a large order. When we arrived we asked if the specialty burgers could be bagged separately & they said they were already in the bag. If course, when we got home they were missing. Called the store twice and no one answered. Went back to the store and the supervisor was on break! We explained to the cashier what happens and she just talked back at a worker behind her to make her some more. She handed us the bag without an apology or a smile!
