Unique delicious tacos w/ quick service! Doesn't get much better than that. They also have a ton of outdoor seating attached to the brewery for nice sunny days. I liked every taco we ordered - and we pretty much ordered every one available!

Pot de creme was good. Steak yummy, chicken and lamb not so much

I was told this place had the "best" tacos. I was in the area so figured what the heck. The girl at the register is a sourpuss and wasn't too cheerful or knows how to smile. On webpage said they have Mexican corn but they do not. They're next to Yeehaw building, but make sure you check the map because it is a lot of one way roads. There is only one way to get in and out and going to the end of the Yeehaw building isn't the correct way I was $16.60 for 3 tacos: chicken blt, lamb gyro and steak cheese. I also got the pot de creme when I was there for about $5. The pot de creme was very good it had some pistachio crunchies on top. Steak one was amazing and would get again. Lamb one tasted like I was just chomping down on a whole garlic, talk about super potent. The BLT one tasted kinda like a corn dog it was definitely something that should be skipped it was not very good. I felt very sick to my stomach after and you know what happens next......

Quick service and unique variety of tacos. Not just Mexican tacos. They had many different options to choose from. Delicious!

Went back to White Duck in Johnson City while in town for a work trip. The staff were very helpful, willing to check when they didn't know the answer to my questions. As usual, a great place to go gluten free! Be careful and ask if you are celiac/allergic to wheat, though, as cross contamination is possible especially in the fryer! The tacos were pretty good. Not as incredible as last time. Tikka Masala is still the best imho. All in all, a great place to eat lunch on a hot day!

White Duck Taco is always a must when we're in Johnson City! We love the vibe, everything is always fresh, and even when there's a line to the door the service moves quickly. In the warm weather we love sitting on the patio to eat and when it's chilly there's plenty of room inside as it's attached to a brewery. The chips and salsa trio is a delicious appetizer and they make all salsas in house! It's hard to pick a favorite taco, so we try to mix it up every visit. You really can't go wrong with any of them!

Absolutely incredible tacos! - chicken tikka masala is spicy and delicious - lamb gyro was everything I want in a gyro and more - Bangkok shrimp was a perfect balance of flavor and texture - my husband at the pork belly two days in a row if that says anything - quesadilla was a hit with my son, as was the pretzel and beer cheese Atmosphere was fantastic as well! Both times we've gone this week (we wanted to try more!), there's been music and a lively atmosphere, without being overwhelming at all. My 2yo had a blast!

Came for the beer, stayed for the tacos. Situated in a beautiful part of Johnson City, this spot really has it all - I'm talking bar stools, comfy couches, outdoor space, fire pits, and Skee-Ball (thought it was regrettably out of order during my visit). My only qualm was the weird parking lot entrance and the odd shape of the parking lot itself; it wasn't entirely intuitive. White Duck Taco Shop is out here making dreams come true. If you want it, they got it (and more!) Serving up affordable tacos with flavors from around the globe. The service is quick, kind, and ordering is easy, ala carte at the counter style. Each taco comes with two tortillas, which you can split into two smaller tacos, or use as extra support for ONE GIANT SUPER TACO (my method) Great flavors, good quality, amazing value and flavor - all around praise for White Duck.

Love that it's attached to a brewery that happens to have plenty of fire and heaters outside. We grabbed two tacos and they absolutely met my White Duck Taco expectations. I just love their tacos. Super yummy, they were very quickly out to us, and I would have gladly had more if we didn't have dinner reservations in a few hours. Great space to also watch football in the brewery.

TL;DR: Highly recommended. Non-traditional take on tacos. Located next to Yee-haw brewery! ***Ambiance*** The space is nice and clean with 7-10 tables. It has a rustic feeling that adds to the overall atmosphere, especially with the wooden tables. Being attached to the Yee-haw brewery allows you to enjoy an excellent beer with your meal. ***Staff*** The staff was friendly and welcoming. You seat yourself at an available table and order food at the counter. They will bring the food to you. ***Drinks*** Since they share the dining hall with the Yee-haw brewery, I didn't check out their beer listing. They do offer margaritas, both regular and special (top-shelf) varieties. My table mates ordered the top-shelf margarita assuming the regular one had essentially no alcohol. Turned out that we were completely wrong. It was the top-shelf that had nonexistence amount of alcohol in it. Just a sweet mix with a placebo-level of tequila. I would recommend trying the beers at Yee-haw instead (Yee-haw is reviewed separately). ***Food*** We ordered two rounds of tacos and each one was very good. The first round was exploratory, while the second round consisted of our favorite picks. These tacos are not traditional, but they are delicious. Out of the eight different tacos I tried, there is not a single one that I wouldn't order again. My personal favorite was the shrimp diablo. ***Overall*** It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it for food. For the purist, these are not traditional tacos by any stretch of the imagination. I think that the menu items are called tacos because that it is the closest food item they resemble. The proximity to Yee-haw brewery is a bonus. I will come back for sure.

I love their collection of tacos. The have different flavors and seasoned appropriately. If the weather permits, they have a beautiful sit out and the Yee-Haw Brewing next door to grab you're beer. Must visit place in Johnson city area

The General Tso's and Pork Belly are out of this world! Also recommend getting a pretzel and/or chips and queso.

As we wend our way to Florida, we spend the night in Bristol for one main reason. This restaurant!…read more (The Hilton Garden Inn hits all the marks too, but as I have nothing to add I'm not updating that review.) My husband ordered five enchiladas each with a different stuffing. While delicious, unless you haven't eaten since last Thursday, who can consume so many enchiladas?! I shouldn't talk. The house special quesadilla -- always excellent -- is a lot of food. Ever resourceful, I took half back, put the chicken and peppers on a bagel and ate it for breakfast! (Note to self AND my husband: next time let's split one and maybe forego the steak and chicken. Chorizo and shrimp?!) Moving on, the salsa bar is great with smooth, chunky, mild and spicy salsas. That's not counting the warm bean spread brought to the table with their thin and crisp chips. Our margaritas -- $6 each -- are not only good but pretty, topped with berries and a flower. Here it is, Monday night -- not a typical going-out day of the week -- and the place is busy with locals. Pretty good testimony to what's become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Ate here 2 weeks ago. Sat at the bar like we always do, ordered some drinks and our meals…read more I decided to try the fried scallops and fried shrimp with baked potato. When my meal arrived I tried a scallop and it was awful. Cut another one in half and tried it...still terrible. Ate a few of the fried shrimp which were lukewarm warm at best and decided...wow, this meal sucks. The potato was fair. A server came and asked if I was done and I said yes...it wasn't very good at all and he could certainly see that I didn't even eat a 1/4 of my food. When my partner was done with his meal, which he enjoyed, the female bartender took his plate away and I said his meal was good, mine was awful. Both of the workers that I spoke with about my meal couldn't care less. I suppose it was my fault for not asking for a manager, but as someone who has worked in restaurants, one of the employees should have done something...anything to show they cared and tried to make things right. Left a $7 tip on a $70 bill (which was generous, considering my bad meal) This place has been hit or miss and this night was a huge MISS. Definitely won't ever come back to this location. We will drive the extra 20 minutes and go to the Abingdon location. Never had a bad meal there and the service has always been top notch.
