They have an awesome online planning tool on the website that makes it super easy to pick out songs and plan your reception timeline, etc. I was really nervous picking a DJ cause I've been planning my wedding music since I was like 10, and I knew exactly what I wanted-- a lot of old school, non-cheesy, not-typical-wedding songs and I wasn't sure how an experienced DJ would feel about my need for total control LOL!! But Eric and my DJ, Mark, were both awesome! like I said, you are able to go online and input the songs for all the traditional dances and intros, then you pick about 60 songs: 20 must-play, 20 others you'd like to hear, and 20 don't-play (which was cool, cause I wanted NO chicken dance, hokey pokey, wonderful tonight, love shack, barfy cliche wedding songs). I was also pretty adamant about the slow songs I wanted. Mark did an AWESOME job of staying true to my list while also adding in some surprise songs that I hadn't thought of but flowed perfectly with the songs I picked. He was also really good at reading the crowd and played stuff that got everyone involved. The dance floor was packed the whole night, my grandma line-danced to Robin Thicke, and my husband's aunt danced on the table to some Motown, so I'd say the evening was a success! The prices were reasonable, and they had a lot of optional add-ons like up lighting, slideshows, etc, which I didn't use but it's nice to know they are available. Bottom line: I trusted the Music Boyz with the part of my reception that was THE MOST important to me, and they totally delivered! I would definitely recommend!!

He has a great voice to MC an event; is very professional in both appearance and demeanor. He did music for both the ceremony and the reception. He was the first vendor at the courthouse that afternoon to set up. For the ceremony, my daughter, had him do about 15 seconds of one song to which he looped so it played over again without any problems. She had some pretty set ideas about what she didn't want at the reception and he stayed true to that. People were dancing and having a great time all evening! When the shuttle bus was late bringing guests and we decided to delay the ceremony, he offered to go talk to the caterers. He actually worked it all out with them which took the stress off of us. This was going totally above and beyond! We are not from Crown Point, and this is our first daughter married, so we had no experience with DJ's in the area. When I contacted him, he had amazing communication, made great suggestions, and worked with me through planning, so I was hopeful about our big day. On the day of our wedding, he arrived at our venue early and made sure that his equipment worked, and he had a good "stage presence" because he was dressed for the occasion, which made us happy. He also did a great job following my created playlist for our ceremony, and he played everything on time. On the other hand, during our reception, most names in our wedding party were pronounced wrong even though I put the written pronunciations of everyone's last name on our sheet, and I gave him a copy of this well in advance. He never asked to meet us in person or Zoom, nor did he ask us how to pronounce anything. He even said our married last name incorrectly as we walked into the reception, so I am happy we didn't have a videographer because that would have been embarrassing. My husband's brother and sister walked into our reception as the first bridesmaid and groomsman, and Matt called Jackie (my husband's sister), Jessica, so not only did he call me (the bride) Jessica but he also called her by my new married name. During our reception, he was very nice to my husband and I, but he didn't really announce much and didn't say anything or update the playlist to get the crowd moving. As someone who has been to plenty of weddings after having mine, normally DJs will make flexible changes to get the crowd dancing and they will also say things to get everyone on their feet. Sure, there were certain times we had tons of people on the dance floor, but many times, it seemed bare. Many people told me they requested songs, but he never played any unless I personally went up to him and requested them; my mom even told him that she was the mother of the bride and wanted to play a song he never played. I did have a "Do Not Play List" of 2 songs, but I never said I didn't allow people to request songs, so that was very disheartening to hear. He also cut our first dance song and my father/daughter dance a bit too quickly before they were 100% over, which made me sad. I realize many DJs like doing this to save time, but he didn't ask us beforehand if we wanted that, and I didn't know that I was supposed to request the full song to be played. The dances all just seemed extremely rushed, one after another without any breaks in between, and they slowly faded right before he announced the next dance to start. Although there were some things I would definitely change, there were some memorable positives, as well. His company was able to provide us with a photobooth, which was a huge hit, so I am glad we added that into our celebration, and it wasn't too expensive. He played many songs that were on the list of songs we asked him to play, and he was very nice when we actually met him in person. As I stated above, he did a wonderful job at our ceremony, the sound for everything was great, and he was professional with his attire and with how early he arrived. He was even flexible with staying a bit later when some of the timing changed, and his communication when planning our event and booking him was great.

Patrick, my husband, was in charge of picking a DJ. To him flowers, food, venue didn't matter much as long as the music was great. And when our day finally came he chose right, 27 Entertainment did not disappoint. When I say our wedding was a dance party fueled with my favorite songs...that's exactly what it was. The energy this company provides is ridiculous. I danced the night away to songs we selected but mixed by the talented Matt! And I tried to keep up with Sterling's energy and amazing dance moves he was sending THE WHOLE TIME. If you are hesitant, don't be. There is a reason this company has this many 5 star reviews. I'm also still waiting for a phone call back. Upon booking, I had great communication. I was obviously excited, considering all the great reviews. It was roughly 1.5 weeks out from our wedding. Crickets didn't hear anything form anyone. I had to reach aid touch base to talk to someone (who ended up being our DJ) Upon arrival to our reception our party bus driver was running 15 minutes late, in return really bothered the DJ and he made it well known. I had spent hours adding the music to the app that 27 entertainment sent me to download that we wanted played. Dinner music (half of which that was not even played) must play and do not plays. As the bride, I asked the DJ to play a song during the reception. In which he told me "I already played that." I heard less than half of the songs I was told to pick up and put on the app they use. I wouldn't have wasted hours of my time selecting and adding music if I would've known it wasn't going to be played. Not to mention, shortly after the reception started DJs back speaker blew and we had several guests walk up to us stating they couldn't hear anything at the back of our venue. I will say the uploading that was available was very nice. Finally, at the end of the night the DJ started playing what we asked for. We finally had guests out on the dance floor, so my husband offered to pay him cash for an extra hour considering leading up to this was not going well. I reached out to 27 entertainment a few weeks after my wedding just to let them know of what had happened. I was very clear. I did not want to refund or any money back. I just wanted to let somebody know of the issues. I was told on the phone " well, your event has obviously came and gone so we can't take it back. But I'll talk to the DJ and I'll get back to you never wants a sorry this is not our standard. Almost 3 years later. I'm waiting for a follow up from 27 entertainment. Looking back I wish I would have booked a different DJ. It was a $2800 letdown. However, decided to go with 27 entertainment due to all the positive reviews.

We hired Ginger and Peach (Andrea and Peri) for wedding coordination services at our venue, but our…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing and distressing. Throughout the planning process, they frequently complained about or questioned our preferences instead of offering helpful solutions. On the wedding day, they were not proactive with setup tasks and failed to assist with important logistical details. While they were somewhat helpful at the ceremony rehearsal, their support ended there. During setup the day before, they were supposed to stay and help, but one coordinator stayed for only about an hour, while my family and I were there for three. During that time, while we were rushing to get everything done, she moved slowly and unwrapped a few candles. She did not come prepared, ready to anticipate needs, or willing to take initiative. Their only meaningful contribution the day of the wedding was setting up the chairs that had been delivered. After that, they left the premises without our knowledge to go get dressed -- during a time when setup and coordination were still in full swing. Later, they also left during dinner service, which is one of the most critical parts of the evening for coordination and oversight. We later found out from our bartenders (who are also our friends) that the coordinators told them they "left during dinner to go scream to God for help." One of our guests also heard them shouting to God outside during this time. That comment and behavior -- combined with their lack of professionalism and failure to fulfill their responsibilities -- was deeply disappointing and inappropriate. Even worse, they complained about me to the bartenders, calling me a "bitch" and mocking us for practicing our faith -- all because I expected them to uphold their contractual duties, such as receiving the flowers and completing the setup. In the middle of dinner, Peri approached me -- in front of my entire table -- to ask about paying the bartenders. It was an incredibly inappropriate and disruptive moment, especially during what should have been a private and peaceful part of the evening. I later learned from one of the bartenders that she had already told Peri that the payment was taken care of, making the interruption not only unprofessional but entirely unnecessary. They also walked up to my sister-in-law in the middle of dinner to tell her to clean out the church, even though she was a guest and had no involvement in the planning. This task was part of the coordinators' own responsibilities, and asking a guest to do it was both disrespectful and unacceptable. Because they failed to coordinate as promised, my parents and brothers had to step in during the reception -- at one point even passing out cheese to guests themselves, something that should have been managed by the coordination team. There is no reason this should have happened, especially as I had hired six staff members to assist with the buffet dinner setup. Their behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and negligent. Instead of helping the day run smoothly, they added unnecessary stress and left us and our family scrambling to fill the gaps they left behind. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before hiring this team.

I can confidently say the best decision I made for my wedding was to work with Andréa and Parian of Ginger Peach to help me plan and coordinate my wedding. Let's set the scene... I'm an out of state bride planning a wedding from thousands of miles away. I'm overwhelmed with dealing with choices for vendors, dealing with work stress up to my ears, while simultaneously planning a two week trip to Japan for our honeymoon. I decided it was time for help. I joined a local Facebook group and immediately connected with Andréa who gave me thoughtful and helpful feedback that helped calm my anxiety-ridden state. I immediately knew that I wanted to reach out to her to see if her team was available. In a stroke of luck they were! Over the months that I connected with the Ginger Peach team, they were able to proactively connect with my vendors, ask all the right questions, seamlessly troubleshooted the problems that came up with ease (I forgot to pack my table numbers, the moms were very late to the ceremony, and one of my bridesmaids had to drop out to illness to name a few), they decorated for the day of my event, and even created my stunning centerpieces.
