(We paid for a more expensive package than he ended up giving us). He offer a partial refund to make up for not meeting the ends. Never go the refund or the photos. As a stressed out bride to be trying to figure out how to make my wedding day run smoothly, Ruben and his employees did nothing to help what so ever. Ruben was frequently rude, blunt, unprofessional and didn't communicate well with me or his staff. He kept putting me off over and over again when I wanted to get details straightened out for the day of my wedding and he insisted we wait closer to the day of. Which lead to him not knowing any of the changes I had made when I had signed a contract and I had to pay extra charges because he didn't know we had changed locations. I was promised a "veteran DJ" for my wedding, however, the person I got came to my wedding unprepared. Her Itunes and internet weren't working for my ceremony, so she had to use one of my guests hot spots to be able to play the music I had picked out! Then, the microphones cut out during the judges speech and during my husbands vows. Unacceptable. If I'm paying hundreds of dollars for your service, you should be able to provide working equipment! As if that wasn't enough, her equipment still wasn't working properly during my reception, so she had to play my first dance song off of youtube, and you could tell the quality was poor. Not only did she play it off youtube, but she had to use one of my guests telephones to do so! How extremely unprofessional. My guests should have been there to enjoy themselves, not have all their phone battery and data eaten up because she was unprepared. THEN she had to use another guests phone when the first ones phone had died AND used my Maid of Honors phone during the last part of the evening to view her playlist, because she had been playing questionable songs throughout the night (including 1999 by Prince and FOUR Michael Jackson songs, when I had requested more modern, up beat songs). Oh- and the microphones went out AGAIN at the reception when my mother was giving her welcome speech. AND I had to stand on the dance floor waiting before the bouquet and garter toss, because the songs were still loading (from being played off youtube), and a good portion of that time was spent without any music at all. As if all this wasn't enough, my DJ still came up to me when the night was over telling me about an unpaid balance! And when having told Ruben about all my troubles, he refused to do anything else to help once I had mentioned wanting to give a review. Horrible, horrible service! Our wedding was this past October. Overall we had a good experience working with Ruben. We heard Ruben play at another wedding and decided to reach out to him because we had such a great time. When we reached out to him it was easy to meet up with him and figure out what our options were. Between the initial meet and the day of wedding however it was difficult to get a hold of him and discuss any questions we might have had. On the day of our wedding he did surprise us with the quality of the and variety of music we had asked for. I would recommend using him, his prices are fair. But remember it is a smaller company with the negatives and positives that go along with it. He is very personable, we enjoyed working with him, the music was great, but his response time can be lacking. read more

Why even give the option to give stars when they aren't deserved? I recently went to a wedding and was highly dissatisfied with the DJ services. Apparently Ruben (owner of White Glove Entertainment) wasn't able to host this wedding, so he sent his sister who was supposed to be experienced..maybe she is? But I couldn't tell from what I saw. Maybe Ruben is a better DJ? I wouldn't know. But I would never book him for a job based on the nasty emails and comments he's made to my friend about her experience during her wedding. First of all, I missed the husband's vows and the judge's speech because the "batteries were low" in the microphone. The excuse was that replacing batteries too often is "bad for the environment". Ok sure, we all want to save the planet, that's cool.. Get rechargeable batteries? Those are even better for the environment! Maybe check to make sure they're good BEFORE the vows take place? Good idea! THEN after that I thought they would maybe replace the batteries before the reception?! I was wrong. The welcoming speech from the bride's mother cut out so badly that she had to pause her speech so the batteries could be replaced. WHY were the batteries not replaced after the ceremony? Good thing her mom had a bad ass speech to make up for it! Saving the planet one battery at a time! The first dance song was poor quality..sounded like it was either a bad download or played off of YouTube. I guess the DJ's network was down and she was having issues connecting. The only music she was able to play was what she had on her iTunes..which did not include a lot of the music the bride had requested. I later found out that she was connected to a guest's hot spot from their vehicle. The DJ then approached my table and asked if anyone used Verizon. I raised my hand and she asked to borrow my phone to plug into her auxiliary jack so she could play "stealing Cinderella" for the father daughter dance. She proceeded to use my phone to play the song for the garter toss, bouquet toss, a song request, and for when the groom was taking the garter off of the bride. I also had the captain America theme and batman theme songs in my search queue on YouTube since the groom had a super hero theme going on. She is saying that she only had my phone for a little while..not true. Photos were apparently taken of my phone by the DJ without my permission.. My phone was having issues with network connection so she then borrowed my finance's phone to play music. Since my phone was having issues connecting, the songs often paused and took a while to load. This lead to a couple of awkward silence moments at the reception. Not cool! Once I was given my phone back, I was told that she was using the maid of honor's phone to use for a playlist because the DJ was not playing music that the bride had asked for. The DJ was also asked to play a slow song for those at the wedding who wanted to slow it down and her response was "the bride wants music she can shake her ass to". I had talked to the bride and she agreed that's what she had asked for, but she said that she also wanted slower music played as well. I just thought it was outrageous that she would say no to any slow music at a wedding! I have seen several emails between the bride and Ruben and I am seriously disgusted. The bride has been really nice and is trying to work with him and he is saying that my friend is a liar (along with all of the guests from the wedding, myself included) and is trying to scam him out of money. How unprofessional. I was at that wedding along with a lot of others and we know what was going on. He has not tried to negotiate with her what so ever and is being very nasty and rude to her and her friends. He is also deleting reviews we are leaving on his page so nobody can see them. What a great guy, huh? I was standing next to the bride when the DJ apologized for all of the issues throughout the day. Why apologize then turn around and call her a liar? I would be irate if I had been in this situation as a bride. The services my friend was promised were not delivered and something should be done other than being called a liar. I was a guest at this wedding and had to surrender my phone and a lot of my own time to help search for music, sitting outside waiting for the music to load, listening to the music first to make sure it wasn't some cover of the song she needed, and so on. I enjoyed the wedding because I have been close friends with the bride for several years, but I should not have had to worry about all of this when the DJ was getting paid to do it all. I am currently planning my own wedding and was hoping to get some contacts from my friend. Not gonna happen! I will never use this company and will do my best to try and get the word out about how unprofessional it is. read more

If there was an option to give zero stars as the rating I would! This business doesn't even deserve half of a star!! I attended a wedding a few weeks ago, right off the bat I was disappointed with the DJ. The microphone kept cutting in and out during the groom's vows to the bride and again went out during the judge's speech and during the guest reading. I thought maybe it was just because we were outside but it only got worse at the ceremony. The microphone cut out again during the mother of the bride's "Welcome" speech. She had to stop her speech so the DJ could change the batteries in the mic. I get it that batteries die and technology fails at times but I also feel that as a DJ providing professional services your equipment should be checked before the start of an event. The DJ then played the bride and groom's first dance song with sounded terrible. The speakers were cracking and it was no good. Same thing happened during the bride and father's dance. The song sounded like someone downloaded it off Limewire back in 2006. The DJ then played "Tonight's gonna be a good night" to get everyone on the dance floor. I was excited the bride and groom chose that song because it was kind of our anthem senior year of high school. However, it sounded like someone had placed garbage bags over the speakers. They were so crackled and muffled we couldn't hardly hear the song. As the the next couple songs played I wouldn't say the situation got better by any means. There was a stagnant time where it didn't get much worse... until the computer/iTunes/wifi went out. The DJ ended up using the maid of honor's phone to play a playlist off of Spotify and that's how we finished out the night. There was also a point where the DJ made a super rude and unprofessional comment when a child requested a song. The Whip and NayNay song was requested by the brides niece, she is maybe 8 years old. The DJ announces over the microphone that she told the bride she would perform the wedding for free if no body requested this song but because someone requested it she now has to pay for all of her services for the night. I was appalled that she said that. I could only imagine someone saying something like that at my wedding how upset I would be. Your wedding day is supposed to be the most beautiful and stress free day of your life and because of White Glove Entertainment that dream was not fully achieved for the bride and groom. I know the bride has been in contact with Ruben, the owner, and he has given her such a hard time basically saying everything she has complained about it's a lie. He has not been very easy to work with to get this situation resolved. I hope anyone considering using White Glove Entertainment for their event reconsiders because they are not worth your time, energy, or hard earned money!!! ): read more

At first, The owner Ruben was pleasant... He was incredibly late for our meeting though. The day of the wedding was a completely different story. First let me say his significant other who runs the Photo Booth is one of the rudest most unprofessional and unfriendly people I have ever met. She left her cell phone on the prop table ( and uncovered rose gold iPhone that is incredibly common) she became irate and it was announced to my guests, that if the phone that was STOLEN was not given back that she would leave and I would not get my money back because she felt threatened. So basically, the people at my wedding were called thieves. Of course, somebody handed it to me because they thought that it was theirs and immediately gave it back. She was also incredibly rude to my guests and children that attended . Ruben was unfriendly and displayed no personality at all. The only time he really spoke besides the introductions (BTW do you miss pronounced our last name even though he was told five minutes before hand how to pronounce it) went against my wishes regarding Music choices, and did not play any of the songs my son requested, even though I specifically stated to please play anything he asked him to play. Not only that, he messed up my dad's surprise father daughter dance which was incredibly important to him. I highly regret hiring this company. read more
