I looked through the women's store and although there appeared to be several people who worked there, no-one asked if I needed any help. Their prices are higher than some places but the quality appears to be good. I especially liked the sweaters but didn't try anything on or stay long. They didn't seem to have as wide a variety as I remembered but clothes still seem nicely crafted.

I am very familiar with Banana Republic and the quality of products being sold. Today I went into this particular BR store with my sister and daughter. See, my family is leaving on a three week trip to Europe very soon and I was looking for fancy wide leg pants. When we entered the store we were greeted by a women who seemed friendly. I was able to find 4 items that I liked and stood just outside the dressing room. While I waited, off to the side were two girls (associates) chatting away. The store wasn't busy at all. The friendly woman was helping another customer inside the dressing room and happened to notice me and let me into a dressing room. At the same moment one of the girl associates broke away from her convo and asked if I needed a dressing room. Duh, I'm standing holding clothes in front of the dressing room door. I tried the 4 pieces on. the friendly woman continued to help her customer and never did return to my dressing room nor did any other associate. Did I like the clothing? Yes. Would I have tried on more? Yes. Did any one associate do their job? NOPE! After I got dressed I brought my clothes out of the dressing room. Call me proper or old school - maybe I just have better manners than most but my intention were to put the clothing back in it's place. My sister was waiting just outside the dressing room and I stood and talked with her about where all the associates were? While I'm speaking to my sister one of the girl associates comes over and asked if anything worked. I politely said no and asked where I could place the items. She begins to explain that most people just leave the items in the dressing room. She continues to stare at me as I hold the items and then proceeds to say - Or I can just take them for you? She doesn't move at all. I attempted to hand the items over and she then says - oh, all of them??? I left the store and went a couple doors down to the HM store. Albeit, the quality is not equal - but the customer service is just right!

This visit there were a ton of sales, so it might be a good value. Check the sales ads for extra savings and bargains. Not a large sock/hosiery selection. Macy's has changed up there chwckout processes. Instead of checking out at the counters, there are two checkouts per floor. Be aware of this because the lines do get long.

The employee who assisted me was knowledgeable about suits and sizing, but her tone came across as rude and made me hesitant to ask questions. I also was not contacted when my suit was ready for pickup and had to call and then go in myself to check. The ambiance is awesome especially when you have not had the time to shop in a really long time and they had a great selection of clothes for men and women. Navigating this store with a stroller is horrendous (but then again this store is geared toward a much younger population with no kids). What made my visit stand out is how kind and helpful the staff was and on top of that I was able to get a discount with my military ID. 10% is surely nice when you spend so much on clothes. Will definitely be back when we are in need of a new wardrobe.
