We moved into a new construction home about 2 weeks ago. The builder gave us new keys and said the locks had been re-keyed but who really knows if there are more keys out there. Our HOA recommended getting them re-keyed by a third party and gave me White Knight's info. Dan promptly responded to coordinate a time that worked for me. He contacted me again the afternoon prior to confirm the time we had set for 7:00 am. The next day. The next morning the door bell rang at 7:00 on the dot and he greeted me with a smile. WHITE KNIGHTS, indeed!!! These guys are freakin amazing. I wanted to write a glowing review yesterday after just speaking with them on the phone, but thought I'd better wait until they actually did the work. Holy cow, from start to finish - from my first call with Dan, the owner, to the re-keying by Dustin, an employee, I could not have been taken better care of. They were especially attentive and caring since I needed my house re-keyed after a recent theft of a bunch of stuff, including my house keys. The suspect is a shady character with a long criminal history, including breaking into places with keys he'd stolen, so I was a little unsettled until I knew he couldn't open the locks. I kind of want to cry with joy at how happy I am with Dan, Dustin & White Knight Locksmith. Will absolutely recommend them to anyone in Austin needing help. Dan, the owner, called me as soon as my locks came in and scheduled an installation date within 48 hrs, even though I live outside their normal service range. His tech, Dustin, came on time, was very courteous, friendly and installed the somewhat complicated locks expeditiously. My plan was to call Dan to tell him how much I appreciated Dustin's work; however, he called me to follow up before I had a chance. Called them at about midnight after locking myself out of my room, and a sleepy sounding man explained to me that it would be much cheaper for them to come the next morning, if it wasn't an emergency (though they were willing to come right away). Spent the night on the couch, and sure enough, the next morning they showed up 15-20 minutes after I called and charged me only $40 (by far the lowest quote I could find) despite having to drill through the knob which I had ruined in my earlier frustrated attempts to enter. Very professional (only teased me a little for smashing up the knob), very quick service, would absolutely recommend and use again. read more

I am going to remember the way these guys talked to me on the phone as long as I live. I was in a bad situation and needed a boat key made. The guy wouldn't even let me talk or explain or tell my story. Kept interrupting me with No, no, no, no we do not do automotive. The more I tried to ask questions or explain it was a very basic key lock and not a car - the more he blurted out No, no no and just cut me off and interrupted me. Just doggone rude and I am going to not recommend them as long as I have a breath in my body. No way to talk to a customer. Didn't even give me any ideas or alternate company to try.
