This place is small but freakin' impressive gluten free bakery. The variety and quality is excellent. I love how not everything is dairy free and some items have nuts which I love. So, we bought 8 different items to try. And 4 of us were sampling the items. While people were slowly sampling I went back inside to quickly take 4 pictures and before I could return, the entire turtle cheesecake was eaten. That's the one with the chocolate, caramel, and nuts on top. I was annoyed since I literally had a tiny bite so I ran back in to get the last one and boy was I happy. The flavors, presentation, and quality are there. This is a great dessert place to hit. We didn't try the breads or anything else so I don't want to comment on that. Happy to share this gem of a place with others. It's down the street from my friends home and kinda cool going into an actual bakery and seeing where the products are made. Being gluten free I don't have the luxury of bakeries in the Boston area. I ordered the paleo friendly muffins, a cheese cake to share, jalapeño cheese crackers and two dinner roles. It was not cheap but the gluten free cheese cake is worth every penny. I'm forgetting something else I bought to share that was either a chocolate cake or a mousse cake but they (my gluten eating friends) loved it. The desserts are fantastic the muffins, crackers and bread need some restructuring of the recipe but all in all I was satisfied and would return. read more

It is so awesome that the Cape has a bakery that offers "diet" and healthier options. They have lots of keto, paleo, and whole30 treats that are sure to kick that craving without making you feel guilty. Over the past few weeks on Cape Cod, I have tried the quiche, some of the low carb rolls (they have lots of flavors), and my mother has tried many desserts/pastries. First of all, best quiche ever. I had the Italian sausage one, but it seems that they offer a different flavor weekly. I would assume that they are all amazing. They also sell lots of other healthy lifestyle items such as cookbooks, honeys, cosmetics, and CBD oil items. My only reason for avoiding a 5 star rating is the lack of friendliness from the girl working the counter. Bought a chocolate cake with white chocolate frosting and chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter, The cake was pretty pricey, but it looked amazing and I figured it would taste as good as it looked so I didn't mind. I'm guessing that if I had not bought the cake it would have been put in the trash at closing - It was clear when we ate it it was not a fresh cake. The cake itself was dry and the frosting was crusty - it cracked when we sliced it. Not one person took more than a couple bites and the majority of it went in the trash. With respect to your reply - Was not intended as nasty at all - 100% constructive feedback. It was beautiful, but it was dry and didn't taste good. We were not told that, but did leave it out for a bit before serving it. I made a choice accept it, and my review was just that. Very nice greeting when I walked in. Bought a few goodies to go. They had cheesecake by the slice, and whole pies to go. The cashier said they do sell pumpkin pie with fresh whip cream. I am currently on a gluten free / dairy free diet. Finding a GF bakery with many DF options is difficult, as you might imagine. White Lion is not bad, it's just really not that good. I've been to quite a few GF bakeries; proper execution is very difficult. Many places overcompensate with sugar or lousy ingredients, White Lion does not do that and I applaud them for it. Their recipes are lacking in execution and require more development. They're ratios seem off. Perhaps it's the flour they use. Their offerings share a common theme: density, graininess, and somewhat unbalanced flavor profile. I'm not trying to beat up on the White Lion, they're doing a difficult thing, but their prices are high and the execution is off so appropriate feedback must be given. Some things are better than others. The banana nut muffin is pretty good as is the chocolate chip brownie, while the coffee cake can barely pass as a salable good (seriously, if I'd made it myself I would've thrown it out). I'm going to come back here, so it's obviously not THAT bad. These offerings, however, are NOT the type that you can give to someone on a non-restrictive diet and have them pass unknowingly as "normal" deserts. They'll notice for sure, and so do I. I'm not suggesting that the desert should even taste like "normal" deserts, but the point is that there is some improvement to be had here. Bakeries with balanced GF / DF recipes do exist. White Lion needs some work to get there. I'll continue to dabble when I'm in the Falmouth area and will report back. read more

I ordered baking mixes from the company pretty expensive but ok low carb, The mixes are non perishable, none the less there was a 53 dollar shipping charge for UPS 2 day, ok I agreed to that no complaints. My complain is that I ordered on 31-Oct-2016, paid 53 dollars for 2 days shipping and as 06-November, no product. I think the 2 day UPS shipping is a rip off, beware. read more

My birthday fell right after a whole30 challenge so I wanted a birthday cake with the least amount of processed sugars and flours that I could get without making it myself... I found this wonderful hidden gem on Google! My Husband surprised me by taking me the 2 hours drive to the cape in search of the bakery. My daughter purchased a birthday cake for me and it was absolutely delicious! I have such a restrictive diet it was important for me to have a birthday cake on this particular birthday as it was a big one and hard to watch everyone else eat Bcake and I not being able to. The thing about hair in the baking from other reviews is not acceptable. I will purchase from their bakery again but if I ever find something that shouldn't be there it will be my last time. Hope these folks take care of this problem as we as consumers are paying a high-priced tag for this stuff and deserve better. I would actually give this place 5 stars if I didn't find a BROWN HAIR BAKED INTO MY MUFFIN. It was about an inch and a half long and I had to pull it out of my teeth. I would maybe consider trying their food again (Purchased at Coffee Obsession) if I found out their sanitary practices had been fixed. I was waiting for an order at another business in this plaza, when I noticed a bakery and decided to indulge. I must admit, I wondered why their 'muffins' were the size of a tea cake. Nevertheless, I purchased 2 magic bars, a brownie and a cupcake. EVERYTHING ended in the garbage. Yuck. The most egregious part of the transaction, were the 'magic bars', which in no way resembled what America identifies as a magic bar. I contacted this bakery about creating a wedding cake for our wedding next June. We exchanged several messages about cake tastings and set one up for today at 430. We found sitters for our 4 children, arranged an entire weekend around this cake tasting meeting and drove over 3 hours to meet with her. Upon arrival at 415, we told the attendant that we were there for a cake tasting to which she looked like she was shocked they even make cakes at this bakery and says she has to call the owner. Then we are told the owner we were supposed to meet with is unexpectedly unavailable because of a family emergency and we can reschedule. No phone call all day that she had to cancel, no email that she was going to be unavailable. Completely unprofessional! We definitely don't have faith in her to come through for the actual wedding. Definitely would not recommend this bakery for a wedding cake. read more

When we need gluten-free, we save money and support our values by buying mixes from Bob's Red Mill, which we love because their products are excellent and the company, unlike White Lion, is owned and managed by employees. read more
