I would go to the Providence location each time I flew in from Charleston to visit my sister. We were so disappointed when the Providence location closed, but so relieved to know that the Barrington restaurant was still there and expanded. The Barrington restaurant has the ambiance and similar feel of Providence, with less space but equally as comfortable. The salads we ordered were divine, as was the lasagna and the forbidden black rice dish. We almost never order dessert, but we did in this case. It was excellent. Our service was superb. We could not have asked for a more attentive and informed server. We were also thrilled to get some of our favorites as takeout -- lentils, quinoa salad, and the delicious eggplant. From the Providence location days, I would especially enjoy having back theme nights with vegan cuisine from around the world. I would also welcome special seminars on vegan cooking and cuisine. In the category of great, nutritious food, this is truly an exceptional place. I highly recommend frequenting this restaurant with friends and family! You will not be disappointed.

Salad= it had tons of Pickles (pickles? Yuck), pickled artichokes, over salty dressing that was swimming at the bottom of the small bowl, something resembling unpopped corn kernels. The sweet fries were cold at the table. All of this was ridiculously expensive. I choked down 1/3 of the salad and a few fries. The whole lunch made me nauseous. No one came over to ask how anything was. Never again!

The sandwich had turkey, cheese, bacon ( I picked off), greens, and a delicious aioli sauce. I suggested that my husband and I go in and try it a couple months later. It is located in the same plaza as Avenue N in Rumford. The storefront is made up of a glass "garage door" so it is pretty cool and unique inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Hubby tried the Cuban, he loved it, and I, creature of habit, stuck to my turkey panini. Once we ordered, the sandwiches came up faster than I expected. I had to use the bathroom and had to go next door to Avenue N. The owner or manager held the door for me, and was very friendly. Everyone that we have met there is friendly. If you want a good sandwich you won't be disappointed!

Just a sandwich in regular size bread pressed as a panini, and it was $12!!! I had no idea until I had to sign for it! The special board didn't have a price and all the other sandwiches were around $8 so I thought it would be the same. Even worse, one bite in and I was disgusted. The chicken was not cooked well and had that rubbery texture where you have to really pull with your teeth to break it. I threw it away after 2 bites and I'm gagging thinking of it. This could be a one off, but I'm really bummed about wasting $12 on my one spend day of the week! I have some other little gripes that honestly bring down my old rating too. We bought some stuff from the shop, which is still really cute and offers a lot of local (though very upcharged) stuff. And when we checked out, there's a line for tip! Everyone feels weird leaving a tip line blank, so why is it there! Just to make us feel awkward?!? All they offer to drink is hot coffee or cold brew, everything else is a deli or store or serve yourself food so why even tipping! Just made me and my friend awkward leaving that line blank, made us feel rude but why would we tip for only buying grocery items.

Started off with some drinks and love me a bit of a spicy marg, good little kick to it. Had the garlic parm wings to start and my girlfriend loved them, fried to perfection a wet based parm vs. dry rub. The turkey burger special by far was THE BEST TURKEY BURGER I've ever had. Perfect portion, seasoned well with some spicy kick and a good crisp bottom as well, I will never forget about that burger. Got the guac on the side to eat with my chips which was a nice touch. My girlfriend loved her burger as well. Definitely a cute spot for a date night or just to catch a game.

We came in, was greeted by the hostess, she was very nice. She told us we could go in the back and have drinks and an app while we waited for our table. Great! A waitress came by, took our order for drinks and app. She was very nice and cheery. We hoped to get her as the waitress. So far, so good right? We were sat and our nachos came out just as we just settled in which was good. I was disappointed that expediter didn't bother to get us plates or recognize that we needed them. She left before I could say anything so I had to flag her down for them. She did get them quickly. For some reason, the waitresses were all over the back table of loud girls. It appeared they were showering them with attention going back and forth all different waitresses. The place is incredibly loud, it was tough to have a conversation with my girlfriend while we. We tried several times to make any sort of eye contact with the staff to let them know we needed drinks and failed. Eventually, we stood up, walked over and asked a waitress for some waters. A waitress came to the table and gave us waters and asked if we wanted drinks but let her know we had already put them in. She seemed annoyed by us, even though we didn't do anything other than tell her we already had drinks in and that we may order some other things soon. Nobody ever came by to check on us even though they came every 2 minutes to gab with the back table. My girlfriend and I didn't really like the nachos. She felt the chili was burnt and I thought it was too salty. We were still hungry and going to ask for entrees, but we were so annoyed with feeling neglected that we decided to go elsewhere. I asked for a box for my food and the waitress said she'd be back and went and talked with the other table again for what seemed like an eternity. At that point we just wanted to leave and eat somewhere else. When she came back after a while I was like... Oh! There you are! And she took my payment. I hate not leaving tips, but I was aggravated. We shouldn't have to get up and ask for what we need. This was upsetting.

This shaws in Riverside is so flawed it's not even funny. Let's breakdown their issues in a…read moresimplified format: 1. Everything in this store is grossly overpriced 2. The unsupervised kids that work here at night time is ridiculous. They sit at the cash registers in groups. They sing songs together out loud. They do nothing for customers at all. Nothing but a deterrent from wanting to go in here at night. 3. Did I mention that everything is overpriced? You pay a premium price for signature products (generic brand) and pay double prices for brand names items 4. The store is dirty. Maybe they should supervise the night time delinquents and have them clean the store instead of playing with each other all night. 5. In the evening, while the store is still open for business, they close the entrance door and block it with carriages so all people have to enter and exit through the exit only. I would think this is a fire safety hazard but I'm not a fire chief. I only remember 100 people dying in the station nightclub fire due to having exits and entries blocked. In conclusion, this big box store does nothing for our community in any way. While we all struggle with the current president's inflation economy, this store raises the prices even higher. Their only interest is to rape our pockets to pay their ceo's high paid salaries. If you do the math, you would save more money traveling to Warwick, RI or Attleboro, MA to do your grocery shopping at Market Basket where they offer normal prices on all their products and have a much greater selection of products and have employees that actually work for their wages. I know my friends, my family, and all of my neighbors are looking forward to when Market Basket opens in Seekonk, MA - then we will never have to deal with shaws in Riverside again.
