Finding great food near Bartlett and North Conway isn't that easy. Luckily every time we've been to this place, the dinners have been wonderful. We always make a reservation, because the place is always busy. We started with the "Sautéed Fiddleheads; a day-of special; due to the chef picking some that were growing outside of his apartment. This was such a treat. The Parmesan Bread was ok. More like Texas Toast, found in the supermarket. My wife's Ricotta Basil Gnocchi with Scallops (+16) was a great way to keep out the chilly mountain air. My Ancho & Garlic Grilled Pork Chop was tender, and went well with the salty Garlic/Thyme Hash Browns That entree was huge, and we took about half of it home (Made A Good Snack) We passed on dessert, since we had them all before in past visits. Our server Emma, was very outgoing, and excited for meal choices. There are only about 4 or 5 great restaurants, in the area. This is one of them !

Our first time here. Our innkeeper recommended. Let me just say it was amazing! We sat outside, lovely patio and gorgeous weather. We both had the Cidertini to start, of course we had to get something with cider in it, and it did not disappoint. We got the littleneck appetizer, and it was so good! The clams were so fresh; they tasted like the ocean. The sauce and herbs added so many layers of flavors, it really was incredible. For our entrees, my husband got the bouillabaisse, the broth was very flavorful. I got the double duck and the duck was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning and cook on the skin was ridiculously good! Of course we had to end with the apple cider donuts. The caramel was very tasty and the donuts were delicious. All in all one of the best meals we have had in NH, and we have been coming since we were both children. We will definitely be back!

Was the ambiance nice? Yes Was the food good? Yes Were the portions decent? Yes Was the server attentive? Yes Was it overpriced for what you actually receive? Yes For the general location, I didn't think the 5 entrees they offer warranted $32-$47 price tag. While it was a nice meal, not sure it's worth a second visit.

After a being terribly ignored at the Wentworth Lounge we ended up here for dinner. It was fate! Great experience all around. Food was fantastic. The stuffed dates (four so you could actually equally share it!) were very tasty. The charcuterie board was well stocked and yummy. Salads very very tasty as well with great dressings. We shared the RibEye special which was soooo good with a chimchurri sauce on top that should be jarred. Just a great meal at every turn. P.S. Food was so good I only got a shot of this salad lol. It was delicious.

What an adorable cafe!…read more We stopped in before we headed home to have coffee and breakfast. We arrived at a quiet point in the morning rush, but they do get very busy! Service is friendly and fast though even when they're packed. I had a turmeric maple latte which was unique and delicious. Along with that I had the Mountain Mama sandwich which had an egg, hummus, goat cheese, and vegetables on a super soft English muffin. It was delicious! My husband had a hummus bagel with cucumbers and tomato and it was a great light start to the day. We also tried a ham and cheese croissant which was good. It was the softer bread style croissant and had chopped rosemary ham and cheese which was delicious, I only wished there was more of it! I brought a maple molasses cookie and a butterscotch cookie home. They were both so delicious and chewy! My only criticism is I wish there was a touch more salt, but I'm nitpicking. Highly recommend stopping in for a light breakfast or lunch, and taking some baked goods for the trail!

The wedding we attended featured them, and after trying a few, I knew I had to visit the shop myself. They're perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and genuinely some of the best I've had. Their coffee is solid--definitely the best you'll find in this small town--and they offer a surprising variety of avocado toast options, all fresh and really thoughtfully put together. On top of that, the people who work here are so kind. It feels like the sort of place where everyone is happy to see you walk in. If you're passing through, or in town for an event like we were, this bakery is absolutely worth a stop.

A true American old country store. When you walk in, there is so much to look at, many jars of different pickled items. Knick Nacks, cards and such. There is a great bakery case next to the deli case where you order your sandwich. I believe there are twelve different sandwiches. I got the number eight which was a grilled panini filled with deliciousness...chicken, pesto, baby spinach, and roasted red peppers. My boyfriend got a turkey club wrap with chipotle mayo. He loved it! I can't remember what number his was. They call your name when ready. You can grab any type of chips, beer, wine, or soda and then pay. Plenty of seating inside. Very quaint. Can't wait to go back again!

The chicken seasoning was very good. Will be coming back!!

Not too sweet and just right. My wife made a comment when we ate here, that when you watch diners on TV like on Gilmore Girls, there's always someone who's walking around with a pot of coffee and when you come in and sit immediately ask you if you want coffee. She's never really experienced that in real life, and granted I haven't either, anyway this place is like that.

Huge breakfast!…read more Yes! Came here for a delicious breakfast after a few days of camping and it was great! We had a party of five and we were seated quickly. They had daily specials and one of them was a homemade cinnamon roll which we ordered. It was very large and very good! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the dough was nice and chewy. I decided on the Moms omelette with a side of house fries and toast and everyone else ordered pancakes, crab cakes and, eggs Benedict. When the food came out it was insanely huge!! Portions are insane and everything looked super yummy. My omelette was jam packed with sausage, avocado, potatos, it had the works! The pancakes were very fluffy and yummy and the crab cakes tasted great. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we were super stuffed but very satisfied. I had several servings of their yummy coffee and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The place is very cute and perfect for big and small groups. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town.
