When I walked into the office, it smelled horrible. There were cans of Febreeze air spray in every…read moreroom I was taken into. As a person with perfume allergies, I walked out of the office feeling horrible. The bathroom and patient rooms were filthy. The patient chair in one room was all torn and repaired with packing tape. The exam room had a cart in it with supplies and it was covered with dust. The walls in the patient exam rooms were stained with who knows what? I saw Dr. Holnbeck after Dr. Naqvi performed cataract surgery on me. On the first visit with Dr. Holnbeck she was friendly. After the first surgery, visits went downhill. When I had my second eye done and I said I was upset because my distant vision was blurry, she became short with me. On the second visit, she came into the room and was not friendly at all. She asked how I was and I told her I was not happy. She said, "I know you're not happy." She told me my vision was fine. I told her I did not understand how she could tell me my vision was "fine" when everything in the distance was blurry. She then started raising her voice while she was waving the little eye paddle they use at me, and said, "There is nothing I can do. You aren't even correcting with and prescriptions here for distance glasses. You can't get back your lenses. I can't help it if your brain isn't accommodating to the new lenses." Wow. Was it necessary to wave that paddle at me and the vision chart and speak to me that way? She was basically telling me my vision wasn't even correcting if they tried to give me eyeglasses and my distance will always be blurry! I had been in healthcare and can think of many other ways that she could have conveyed that message without raising her voice at me. At this point, I was extremely upset. I told her this was my vision and my eyesight. I told her she was a physician and completely out of line speaking to me and treating me that way. When I said she was out of line, her response was, "I was, I'm sorry." I found Dr. Holnbeck to be very incompassionate and unprofessional. I would never recommend her, or this practice to anyone.

Yesterday I went for my annual glaucoma screening as a new patient at Dr. Love's clinic. There was…read morea sign on the door (WARNING! MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES!) Inside the receptionists were all masked up properly. But when I finally got called in, the person checking my vision by the chart and testing my pressure was wearing her mask under her nose. After a while I asked about that, and she said "It's hard for me to breathe, I had asthma, and anyway I've had Covid so I have immunity." I said I'd been reading that people who'd had Covid AND got vaccinated had a very high level of immunity and I hoped she would go ahead and get the shots. She was skeptical: "I know a guy who had Covid and got the shots, and STILL got Covid." So then somebody came to conduct me to the machinery that scans the back of the eyeball, and SHE was wearing her mask under HER nose. After that Dr came in, Dr. Elizabeth Fahy, OD, FAAO. You guessed it. Her sergical mask kept slipping down and after a bit she stopped pulling it back up in order to use both hands. This was a DOCTOR. She sent me back with the second tech to redo one of the scans, and I asked the tech, "How come everybody on the staff of this place is wearing their masks under their noses?" "Because we can't breathe," she said crossly, "and anyway we're all vaccinated, so...." Not ALL of you, I thought but didn't say. The first tech sounds like an antivaxxer, but how is this tolerated in a medical establishment? Nose not covered might as well be no mask at all. These people were all working right in my face. I had my mask on correctly the whole time, and am fully shot, but was uneasy anyway, now that the world is full of Delta. In the hallway I saw even Dr. Love pull his mask down while talking animatedly with a visiting colleague. In every way the work they all did was excellent, comparable to what I had experienced at the Commonwealth Eye Clinic in Lexington KY for many years. No complaints at all about that. I considered leaving, but it's hard to get an appointment and I was overdue for a checkup and made the decision to stay, which I hope wasn't a bad one. I'll know two weeks from now, I guess.

I'm 6 hours post surgery, still wearing my sunglasses and recovering. I can't review my new vision…read moreyet as it takes time to fully recover, so I'll update this as soon as I can, but I wanted to review the facility, staff, doctor, and procedure while it was still fresh on my mind. First off - if you're trying to get the "$250 per eye" price they advertise you have to have a very minor prescription. Most don't. It's not false advertising and they put those details in the fine print like every other advertiser. The facility is very nice and well kept. The staff are all very friendly. The day of my consultation they were very thorough in explaining the procedure and answering my questions as well as performing the exam to ensure that I was a good candidate for Lasik. The only thing I wish they'd warned me about before the consultation was that I'd be dilated. On the day of the procedure the three or four nurses in the procedure room were awesome. They talked to me though the entire surgery, which took less than 10 minutes from start to finish and the the "work" on my eyes was less than a minute per eye. The doctor was SUPER personable and you could tell he truly cared about his patients. He's performed Lasik over 108,000 eyeballs!!! I can still see, though my eyes are watery and sensitive, and the surgery was basically painless. There were a few moments things were "uncomfortable", but not bad at all!

However, I decided to go through with the visit since there was no cost for the evaluation. My experience was nothing like how the negative reviews presented LasikPlus. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and there was absolutely no hint of pressure to write a review, purchase more services or anything else. Dr. Holden was the most personable and informative eye doctor I've ever visited. I was treated as a valued patient throughout the process, even after it was determined I was not a good candidate for lasik. People who try and harm a reputable business by writing bad reviews are just another category of scammers. Although I'm obviously unqualified to review their services, I can certainly tell you LasikPlus offers excellent customer service.

I was told that on 6/9/26 I would have to pay $265, and if I wanted special lens, it would be between $1700 to $1950 for special lens, but they had free lens that cost nothing. I chose free lens. Next appointment wad on 6/2/26 for A scan. I had it done and was told after I had scan that I owed nothing for that day, as I already paid all I owed except for the $265 on 6/9/26. On 6/4/26 I was to have presurgical evaluation that costs $99 fron an outside doctor. I requested to go to my family doctor and on 5/28/26, I went to my family doctor and passed. On 6/9/26 I had surgeryand paid $265 and asked if I owed more and was told no. On 6/10/26, I had appointment to see if I had problems, and had none. I asked about charges and was told I had none. Next appointment was on 6/16/26 to check my vision. It was 20/20. I asked about charges and was told I owed nothing. Then last appointment was on 7/1/26 for dialation of eyes. Again I asked what I owed, and was told I owed nothing, and I was all paid up. That was my last appointment at Stahl vision. On 8/4/26 I got a bill for A scan (that I had on 6/2/26). The bill was for $35 for my A scan on 6/9/26, yes 6/9/26, but A scan was on 6/2/26 (do they know what day it is?). I called Middletown billing center (937-534-0172) at 10:51 AM and talked to Kim. She was very rude, and told me that I was incorrectly told I owed nothing, even after being told bd Dr. Stahl I owed nothing. I asked her who was their governing agency that over sees them. She then transfered me to McKenzie in Beavercreek at 11:01 AM, and she was also rude tellin me I owed it and to pay it. I was then transfered to Sierra at 11:11 AM who transfered me to office manager who would not give me her name. I was transfered to Kim again and was told to call insurance company to continue with my complaint. I was told by Miranda that I could not have been taken to desk on 6/16 by a male that told me I owed nothing, as they have no male employees in Beavercreek office. I called Mt Carmel ins Company on 8/4/26 at 11:43 AM and talkedto Kos, and was told to call Stahl Vision as my complaint. On 8/4/26 at 2:31 PM I filed with Ohio Attorney a complaint against Stahl Vision. Complaint number is CDA244035, and they will contact Stahl Vision. It is really bad to deal with rude people at Stahl Vision. They received almost $5,000 from Insurance Company and $300 from me and now is a jerk over $35! What crooks.

Friendly, patient staff who are happy to take their time to answer any possible question you might have. They understand this is surgery and we only have this one set of eyes. And that you are awake for the procedure...nerve-wracking. So that I never felt rushed, made to feel silly, all questions and concerns taken seriously...much appreciated! They could have gotten my Lasik done literally 3 days after my consult, but I decided to wait til later in the month for several reasons. One honestly being so I could start practicing NOT rubbing my eyes because you really need to NOT do that for at least a week post-surgery. The day of the procedure was even faster than I expected. My appointment was at 11am, and I think we were back in the car before 11:30. I appreciated the administration of valium prior to the surgery, and though it did not help me sleep once back at home, it chilled me out enough that I didn't care about the discomfort. By the evening, though everything had a haze, my vision was clear! I could read the spines of the books on the shelf across the room. And even recovering on the day of Lasik, I could read or watch tv to relax at the end of the day. My original prescription wasn't too too bad, so I was eligible for a small upcharge (relatively, compared to the whole cost) for them to try to give me better than 20/20 vision. Which they did. I also opted to pay more for a lifetime enhancement plan (touch up coverage, basically). Hopefully I won't need it, but it is a nice option just in case. It has been a couple weeks since my procedure and my vision is great. Any lingering discomfort/dryness is too be expected and not helped any by it being spring time in the Ohio River Valley. I had a great experience with Greenberg and have already begun recommending them to any friends I hear considering Lasik.

I mean...I only have one pair of eyes. They gave me so much information before my consultation and answered all my questions, and trust that I ask a LOT of questions. I went in for my pre-op consultation and was immediately greeted and welcomed. I filled out paperwork and was then escorted to my first testing room by my consultant, Sasha. Super friendly and kept me at ease the whole time. After a few tests, we headed to the next room where she tested my current vision. After that, Dr. Greenberg came in, greeted me, and then did his tests. Most of my time for the whole procedure was spent during this pre-op session, but it was very thorough. After all the tests, another staff member went over pricing, discounts, and payments. Surgery day was a lot shorter. I was greeted as usual (I felt like a regular), given a Valium to relax, and we headed to the exam room once more. Vision was checked, and then we headed to surgery. Every step was explained. So, I always knew what to expect, and he talked me through it the whole way. With surgery complete, they gave me some shades to wear for the day, pics were taken, and I was able to head home for a nap. Overall, the process was great, and my post-op visit was excellent as well. One more, and I'm clear for a while. Go get Lasik, and get it at Greenberg!Psst...ask about the Humana employee discount.

I came in for an acute eye problem and I could not possibly be happier with how I was treated and the attention to detail on the exam. 1) I was able to be squeezed in the same day due to the fact that I was having an acute issue that day. Dr. Joe stuck around when he was finished just to see me. 2) My eye exam was very thorough. 2 different tests were able to be completed in office to give me peace of mind. Dr. Joe took almost two hours of his time being very sure to rule out any serious issues. This meant a lot to me. 3) The staff was very friendly, professional.
