Their food is amazing and workers were nice but utensils were VERY unclean. I could literally feel the dirt on the cup my ice cream came in and my forks and spoons weren't clean. I asked for new ones and the new ones were still unclean. It easily came out when I poured water on it and wiped it with napkin. There are better dessert experiences out there. The prices are triple what you would pay for a better quality homemade piece of cake at places like Dessert Deli. While they say their waffles and ice cream are made in-house, their cakes, pies, brownies etc. are your standard premade and frozen restaurant dessert which don't equate to the high price they charge. When we were there the desserts came out with puddles of almost completely melted ice cream and the coffee came out cold and tasted old. Again, not worth the high price they're charging. It's as much for dessert for two as it is to go out to dinner for two at a less expensive restaurant. We'll give them one more shot because the kids want to go, but I personally wouldn't go again if it were up to me. read more

Went to get waffles today with 3 of my friends. Waited 15 minutes in the parking lot even though there was only three tables in the restaurant. When we were seated it took 15 minutes for the waitress to even come to the table. She was not friendly and did not even ask what we wanted to drink. We then had to ask for water and still didn't not receive it when we received our food. We then ordered our food and received it in a reasonable time but had to ask for water again and was given an attitude like it was our fault. The silverware was dirty and so was the napkins. The food was decent but not anything special and the service and staff were rude. My friend also asked for strawberries instead of bananas and received bananas on her waffle. When she politely asked for strawberries she was given a snarky look and the waitress walked away. Overall not worth it at all and way overpriced for a waffle with fruit on it and tap water. read more

Just going to toss this out there - if you're a dude without the gift of intellectual conversation when in a dating scenario but you want to strategically find a way to limit chatter yet enjoy some time with your date, this is the ideal place. Think about it...you order some gargantuan waffle with ice cream on it and take 25 minutes to stuff your faces (delicately, my man, don't be THAT guy) together which reduces your chances to blurt out some sports fact that you mentioned twice already. The Peanut Butter Waffle with Reese PB Cup Chunks, with PB Ice Cream (which is homemade by the way), with PB ambiance and a kiss from a PB Angel, is some good eatin'. My kids hit the ice cream sandwich made with two big cookies as well as the chocolate cake topped with chocolate ice cream made from the tears of unicorns. I am pretty sure we are still taking our time breaking off chunks throughout the week because it was just too big to finish. Pricing is around $8-$10, which is not bad at all for what you receive. I do suggest water as your beverage of choice.....partly to cleanse your pallet and partly to drown the guilt in something healthy. read more

Last time I came here it was after I had already eaten so much at Texas De Brazil that my appearance was physically bloated. Hat to sit up completely straight on the drive over just so I could breathe. Took down a massive smores waffle sundae, which was incredible, but I had now become so full that the pain was becoming difficult to ignore. Audibly wheezing, I staggered to the counter to pay. Just took my boyfriend here for his birthday. The first thing we noticed was the delicious sweet waffle-y smell when you walk in. The decor is really cute and colorful. It reminded us of Alice in Wonderland. The server was nice and helpful and service is pretty quick. They only serve desserts and they make almost everything in house, including the ice cream. They said their specialties are waffles and crepes but we went with a warm brownie with their homemade vanilla ice cream and homemade milk chocolate and caramel sauces. The ice cream was my favorite part. It was delicious and creamy. The brownie tasted really good, but I wish it was warmer and gooey-er. It had the feel of a slightly overcooked microwaved brownie instead of a fresh-out-of-the-oven feel. That's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. We did see other people ordering waffles and they looked amazing. I have a feeling the waffles are probably 5 star worthy. I want to come back to try them. read more

Definitely a worth while visit whenever you are in the area! We visit Buffalo often (live in Toronto) and anytime we are able to, we drop by! I particularly love the big menu and the fact that much of their menu is made from scratch in-house. As a family of 4, we find that there is something on the menu for adults and kids alike. The only reason I gave it any stars is because it was cute inside. I was excited to try this place out. The idea of an all dessert restaurant is a fun concept but I don't want to wait longer for a dessert than I do for a dinner. When it was finally ready, I watched as my order sat at the counter for another 10 minutes, melting. The waitress didn't hear that the order was up. I also had to watch as another waitress stood with her face inches away from our plates and had a conversation with a co-worker. I was really grossed out by this. When we did finally get to eat the dessert, it was very bland. My crêpe was soggy and my ice cream had melted. I wasn't offered a replacement. We paid $21 for our 2 desserts and that was only because there was a special going on, otherwise it would have been even more expensive. Me and my husband went there with our kids. Pros: very nice inside and wait staff very friendly and helpful. Cons: very expensive and thought there would be better quality ingredients. I had an apple crisp crepe thing and the apples tasted like they came from a big can of apple pie filling. It ended up costing us the same amount as if we went out to dinner. Unfortunately we probably won't go back. They should lose the wait staff to lower the prices. read more

I love the desserts, been here many many times but terrible service and had a bad experience last time here. It was Sunday 2/3/19 and we got there around 9:15pm and the place was supposed to close at 10pm. As soon as we enter there was a girl cleaning the floors who indicated us that the only had ice cream and cakes cause the waffle/crepe machine were already turned off. We decided to stay anyway and order ice cream and when the waitress came to take our order I asked if the price of the CONE waffle that comes with the sundae was going to be discounted. She said no to which I immediately replied with "how are you going to charge me for something you are not offering?". She said I don't know, I am sorry and she insisted that the waffle was so small that it was only worth a penny!!! I have been in this place many times and that sundae comes with a whole waffle cone, contrary to the two scoops sundae that does comes with a small piece of waffle. My boyfriend ordered a shake and since the place is a little pricey and I was not getting the full order I got the kids size. When she comes back with our order she said they gave me extra ice cream to compensate for the waffle, which at the moment seem nice. We started eating and suddenly they turned off the lights of the salon with us inside still eating!!!!!! It was 9:38pm!!! I was so confused and started thinking that the operating hours on the website were wrong. Also, the waitress never asked us if we wanted something to drink which is the first thing they always ask and usually they even bring you water without you asking which is nice. When went to pay and asked about closing hours and the waitress indicated that it closes at 10pm but the owner wanted to close early cause they didn't get a lot of customers during the day. I would have been more understanding if we would have got there 5 minutes before closing which would be very unconsidered from us but we got there aprox. 40 minutes before 10pm. Next time lock the doors and don't let customers in if you are not willing to offer a full service specially if I was there within the right operating hours!!! read more

I am always looking for a gluten free dessert. They are far and few between. I went here with some friends not expecting to have any dessert at all and just a cup of tea. They had a gluten free section on the last page of the menu. There were 8 different selections. I had the royal wedding. It was a gluten free waffle with a huge scoop of ice cream, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream and strawberry coulis which was a sauce made out of strawberries. It was also very delicious. I did ask how the waffles were made. The waitress told me it was a separate waffle maker and that they changed their gloves before making. It was so good that I asked again after I ate it if it was gluten free. She assured me it was. I did not get sick so it was GF. It was huge. I would recommend sharing with a friend. It was also $14 which I thought was quite expensive. Thus the 4 stars. The decor was also super cute. read more

I brought my children and my mother here today and it was a horrible dining experience. The weather outside was cold and I wanted to take my children out for ice cream. I figured I'd spend the extra money and take them out for the dining experience. My children are five and two years old. They were both well behaved however like most children made a little of a mess. Not once were napkins brought over to us. I had to constantly ask the waitress for items. I repeatedly had to remind the waitress to bring my mother sugar for her tea. Too add icing to the cake I bit into my bownie to find small wad of hair twined into the brownie. I once again called over the waitress. And even had to ask for "to go" cointainers nothing was offered to me no manager came over to speak with me no costumer service WHAT SO EVER!!! For the amount of money I spent my children and I would of been better off going to get ice cream and cookies at McDonald's!!!!! Beyond disappointed service tonight was horrible! Before I left I did confront a "manager" who assured me to contact "abaigail" tomorrow and also assured me she was inbetween shifts and did what she could to take the brownie off my bill poor service and completely disgusted to see the hair in that brownie like that..... read more
